The teachers who work at this school for the Digital film program are terrible. Mr.Stan, the teacher will drone on about things that are not related to the lesson and waste class time. Ms.Chris the aid is just as bad, everything depends on her mood that day. could be doing no work and completely slacking but if Ms.Chris is in a good mood she wont encourage me to get anything done.but if Im doing my work without being told to and Ms.Chris is having a bad day she will distract me from my work because shes in a bad mood. Mr.Stan is too old to be employed as a teacher at this school he lets his personal life interfere to much with his work life. very unprofessional. I had high hopes coming to this program to learn about film production but this class and school have failed me. 0/5 stars

Western Suffolk BOCES @ Dix Hills is great. All sorts of skill based training. From cosmology to auto repairs; this place offers plenty. Day or night classes are available. My union gave me a voucher for my class, ask about your benefits. Instructors are real world professionals who know their trade. Totally recommend BOCES.

First year student when Wilson Technological Center opened, first class to graduate, Class of 1965.Classes in Technical Electronics for 2 years. High School: North Babylon High School, graduated June 1965.Great education, went on to collage as did most of all the students in tech electronics. Good memories.

As a student at this school for almost two years it has been amazing. I leave my usual high school for half of the day to study in the field i plan to pursue in the future at a much higher level than they will teach you in high school, whatever that may be. There are so many options from design/art to audio to cosmetology to nursing to carpentry and so so much more as well as classes for kids who need a little more help in their learning. Its very in depth and fun and the part of my day that I always look forward to the most.

I highly recommend this school.i took 3 years of baking here from 1975 to 1977 I dont know if they still have culinary arts today.but it was a great school .mr piccolo was my baking instructer

Great place to learn a skill only problem is the nurse.

I was in the nursing program. Graguated 1970.

I took & paid for an entrance exam for GED (or tasc program) so I could finish HS & get my diploma, this was back in September of 2017. It’s now January 2018 & I’m still waiting to get in, I have called numerous times only to be told I’m 6th on the waiting list, something I was NOT informed of when I signed up. I know the demand is great & the entrance fee isn’t so expensive but if you add up a few more people like myself that paid & is still waiting then it adds up for them. If you go there don’t be fooled cuz they will tell you “it’s a bit of a wait & people drop out all the time so you’ll be next in line” bla bla bla.

I love this school . Miss Valerie is the teacher more lovely that I know.

Went here for the GED program. Sometimes the school isn’t what it seems.
