I subjectively have had a pleasant experience here. Ive been with Holly for over six years and have learned so much from her. In addition, her horses are very well mannered . Ive worked at a bunch of barns all over long island including a therapeutic farm where their horses have no ground manners whatsoever. She is genuinely passionate about what she does , and I seldom see that in the horse world Only barn Ive chosen to stay with

Ok, here is my assessment of Grand Champion Stables in Dix Hills. Listen up those of you that are impressed by fru fru barns that over charge and cant even change a blanket on your horse or give it clean water...As most of the L.I. horse community knows I have traveled around from barn to barn with my youngster Lakota.. I and the horse were always blamed for lack luster care and unprofessional (I wouldnt even call them Horse women).. Finally I found Holly Reese at Grand Champion. She is totally in tune with the needs of both my horse and myself. No more worries or petty drama. FINALLY PEACE AND AN AFFORDABLE SAFE HAVEN FOR BOTH LAKOTA AND ME. THANK YOU MY FRIEND .

I went to see this barn, but I went when I wasnt expected. It was a beautiful day and all the horses were inside. There was piles of manure 5 feet high on the side of the building. There was garbage everywhere. I came a few days later and again the horses were in on a mild day. Next door, horses were out, with their blankets either frolicking or just grazing on their hay. I hope the who board their horses here know what going on. Poor horses.

Holly made this place feel like my second home and made me comfortable coming back into the saddle after an accident I had at another barn. I definitly recomend you come here.
