We had a negative experience at Arts and showed up to Latta Music feeling pretty defeated. My son has a French horn that we were trying to get repaired. Unfortunately, it is not repairable, but John and Mitchell were very kind and chose to educate us, instead of insult us like they did at Arts. They seem to truly care about their customers! They even offered to try to find us a good, used French horn, without any pressure. I would recommend them to anyone looking for an instrument or lessons!

Our family has been using Latta Music for years for instrument rental, purchase and lessons. The owners are such great people! I have had multiple experiences in which they went above and beyond to provide excellent customer service. We have also had great dealings with the teachers who obviously love to teach music and love children. I really can not say enough good things.

The owners are wonderful people. They are extremely knowledgeable and will go above and beyond for you. I have been extremely satisfied with all purchases, rentals, and lessons from Latta Music. The music instructors are top notch. They will work hard to find you and/or your child someone who is a good match for lessons. Easy to work with for scheduling and payments. We have rented and purchased several instruments from here and have all been very pleased. Go to Latta Music they are the best in Dothan.

Can’t say enough good things about Latta. I bought my first big keyboard from here after visiting several times to figure out what I liked and David and Chris were so patient with me. I never felt rushed or pressured to be a big spender, which I appreciate. Very open to students as well, and I know that I will bring my kids here when they decide to take up piano/guitar.

We are always welcomed with smiles and conversation. My daughter is really enjoying her guitar lessons here and we look forward to beginning vocal lessons in the next year!

Find another music store asap! Trust me!Owner is a crooked miserable man..Save yourself time and money , go anywhere else. Could not get worse than latta.
