Corner Canyon Academy is a wonderful school!Our son LOVED this school and his excellent teachers.

Such a good preschool. Easy to communicate with, and a strong focus on giving little ones a positive association with learning. My twins had Miss Em and they adored her.

Our 4&1/2 year old was becoming difficult to take care of at home so we enrolled him in this school for a short break from one child. In just a few weeks we have seen a huge change in not only his behavior but also in what hes been taught already. Now, he is starting to write letters and whole words on all his artwork at home and we have been catching him practicing difficult sound pairings that he is now also writing. Im truly appreciative for all the hard-work and dedication their staff has shown in preparing our boy for success!

Corner Canyon is a fantastic school! All of the teachers are fabulous! I highly recommend Corner Canyon to prepare your child for Kindergarten! My son loves going to school! Miss Marilyn is extremely helpful as well as Miss Brenda! Although all of the teachers are great!!

I loved sending my son here! This school is amazing. I felt that my son was in a safe, enriching environment. His teachers were loving and invested in helping him learn. I cannot say enough about it. By the end of the year he could read simple books and still was able to have a relaxed experience to help him easily transition into kindergarten.

We love this preschool! My little guy loves Miss Emma and cant wait to go to school. He says Miss Emma is teaching him to be quite smart and I love how professional all of the teachers and staff are. Highly recommended!! The environment is loving and supportive and I love how they focus on positive behavior (the kids arent told to stop doing that a million times. Instead they have a great system with behavior refocusing and a power mat if they make a bad decision and need to gain their power back) which I have seen really has helped my active little guy be more focused on good behaviors. Seriously, the best preschool!

My daughter has been going to Corner Canyon Academy for a year now and we love it! She has a wonderful teacher who works hard to make learning fun. One of the biggest benefits of Corner Canyon Academy is the schools balanced approach to learning; since our daughter is still so young, we wanted a school that focused on socialization, physical and musical play, as well as reading and kindergarten prep. She has a lot of years of school ahead of her, so we wanted her to learn to love school now. Corner Canyon Academy is doing a great job of making that happen.

We have loved Corner Canyon Academy. The teachers and staff have been wonderful. They truly love the kids. I have been impressed with the amount and variety of information they teach. I know my daughter is ready and excited for kindergarten and Im thankful to Corner Canyon for helping prepare her.

My nephew attended this school 7 years ago and he absolutely loved it. So when we moved into the area I was so excited for my daughter to attend.She just started this January 2015 and has already learned so much.She wishes she had school everyday instead of just 3 days a week. I enrolled my daughter in Corner Canyon Academy’s Pre-K 4 program in the fall of 2012. I am positive I made the right choice when I withdrew her from an academically rigorous program at different preschool and enrolled her at Corner Canyon Academy. From the moment I walked in the door I knew that the school was a place that truly made learning fun. My daughter loved her teacher Ms. Kristi from the moment she met her and looked forward to going to school every day.Our experience the first year at Corner Canyon Academy was so wonderful that we decided to send her there for Kindergarten. We were drawn to the smaller class size, and knew that our daughter would continue to thrive in the uniquely nurturing environment that your school offers.I really cannot say enough about Kindergarten experience my daughter had. Ms. Sarah’s instructional methods were very creative and encouraged growth and further exploration and learning amongst her students. She truly created an excitement within her students to learn. The curriculum she used far exceeded the minimum UT core standards and allowed for all ability levels within the classroom to be challenged.My daughter is now heading into first grade not only prepared, but ahead of her peers. More important than her advanced placement in the core subjects, she is confident and thriving both creatively and socially.I would highly recommend Corner Canyon Academy to any parent looking for academic program for their preschooler or kindergartner that excites their students about learning and makes learning fun!

Im.a grandpa and have been to.activities at both the Draper and Sandy campuses. This is a GREAT preschool. I have 19 grandchildren.and all have gone to various preschools ( four to this one) and this is the best by far! Great facilities and the teachers are very capable and, best of all, LOVE the kids. Miss Marilyn, the boss is an absolute angel. I wish I was a.kid and could go there!

This is the best preschool you can possibly enroll your kids in. I have been impressed with every interaction Ive had from start to finish with everyone at this school. Their program is head and shoulders above any other. They truly care about your child. I cannot say enough good things about Corner Canyon Academy!

I totally love this preschool. I have had both of my children go there. My son is starting kindergarten this year and I am quite sad hes not going to be there again this year. But my daughter will do one more year here and I am beyond excited. The amount of knowledge my children both know is incredible. I wish I wouldve known about this for my son when he age 3 and 4

As a mother of 2 small children I have been extremely impressed with the attention and progress that has been made at Corner Canyon Academy.Both of my younger children attend Corner Canyon Academy, one is in the 3-4 year old class and one 4-5 age group. It is awesome to watch the different levels of their progression unfold.The teachers have been wonderful to work with and really enjoy inspiring my kids. You can tell they love their job and that is where they want to be.The most impressive part is that my children want to go. They are excited about learning. Props to the teachers!I would strongly recommend any parent to Corner Canyon Academy.

What an extraordinary preschool! My daughter looks forward to going there every time. The curriculum is well designed and balanced with fun and play activities. I very much like the cleanliness, the bright and happy interior and beautiful safe playground. The best part is that the kids get showered with love and encouragement by the teachers, especially Miss Marilyn!

I truly cannot say enough good about this preschool. The staff, the teachers, the fun they have planned. Cutest field trips, child/mommy and child/daddy days. The crafts are so cute! My daughter has learned soooo much. And it’s so well organized. I have had zero complaints and absolutely loved our experience! Excited to get my 2nd child enrolled for next year. Thanks CCA!

My daughter loves going to the mommy and me class. At 3 years old she knows all of her letters, some of her letter sounds, and numbers up to 10 and more. It has all come from the program here. Miss Marilyn is very loving towards the kids. If there is ever a problem, she backs up the parents 100%. We are moving and I will miss this program!

I really like Corner Canyon. The curriculum is well thought out, they are organized, the monthly calendars are helpful. They have a lot of space for the kids. The teachers seem to be well trained. They do extra activities and field trips with the kids. I would definitely recommend them to anyone.

I LOVE this preschool! I have had two children attend this school and both have flourished. The teachers are loving and bright and the curriculum is wonderful. My 5 year old is just starting to read beginner books and it is SO exciting. I strongly recommend this school.

We had our first daughter at Corner Canyon for 2 years. She loved it immensely; loved her teachers, the owner, and everything to do with learning. She left reading three and four letter words, which was amazing to me. She also learned about so many great subjects like the solar system, weather, addition, dinosaurs, the body, I could go on and on! The teachers and owners really love what they do and have an admirable love for these children. Corner Canyon Academy is a must at our house! Were getting ready to send our second there and she cant wait!

My child loved Corner Canyon. They provide a kind environment that makes learning fun. The early reading program is wonderful. My child is reading before kindergarten. Lots of cute activities. I would recommend to anyone.

I love Corner Canyon Academy and Ms. Marilyn. Two of my children have gone through her program and I just enrolled my third. Corner Canyon Academys program is fun, positive, educational creative and well balanced. My kids always looked forward to going and were sad to leave. I have two girls who have attended preschool at Corner Canyon Academy starting at age two-and-a-half. I cannot say enough about how much both my girls and I have loved the teachers and program at this preschool. We have absolutely loved Corner Canyon Academy. My son is in Pre-K, and before entering Corner Canyon, had no previous preschool experience. I was nervous that he would be behind the other children because he wasnt even that familiar with his letters. After one year with Miss Marilyn and her staff, he is reading! They are warm and caring, and provide many interactive learning experiences for the children through their various theme-based curriculum. My son has made great friends, and loves school. I highly recommend Corner Canyon Academy.

Our family has had an amazing experience with Corner Canyon Academy! Our older two children had attended Newcastle School and they were not ready for kindergarten despite attending Newcastle for two years. They had only learned their capital letters and really struggled in reading. I had been told that Newcastle was a great school and I didnt know any different.When our third child was ready to start preschool, he wasnt potty trained so he couldnt start school on time. When he was finally ready, Newcastle was full. My neighbor suggested that I try out Corner Canyon Academy. I was amazed by the difference between the two schools. At Newcastle, it felt very much like a business and we were clients. What I found at Corner Canyon Academy was a complete love for my child, a well rounded curriculum, and a feeling that we were family.My last two children were so much better prepared for kindergarten than my first two. I read a previous review of someone who said their child had a bunch of home work from Corner Canyon Academy. That was not the case with either of our children.It was a sad day when our youngest child graduated from preschool. I will miss the teachers and that amazing, loving environment. Miss Marilyn has done a fabulous job with her school. She has a great, balanced curriculum and is very careful about hiring teachers that are competent and caring. I cant say enough good things about Corner Canyon Academy!!!

My daughter attended Corner Canyon for one year and we will not go back. There is such a huge push for academics, including homework. Im not ready to have to fight with my 3 year old over doing her homework, we have many years ahead of us for this! And when my daughter came home and played preschool it was all very negative based. She was constantly putting us in time out for talking and not listening and not doing it right, which tells me this is what was happening in her classroom. The director of the school was very scatterer brained and would answer the phone while you were in the middle of a conversation with her. I would leave messages with questions about my daughter and never get a returned phone call. Also, if there is a Monday holiday the kids miss the Tuesday day of class too. So if you factor that in, youre paying for a lot of school days your child will not attend.The building is beautiful and clean. They incorporated lots of fun days near the end of the year like pajama day and crazy hair day. My daughter did learn a lot, she learned all her letters and sounds. But she was NEVER happy or excited to go to school, although she always came out from school happy.We attended a different preschool in the area for her second year of preschool, Newcastle, and she was happy and excited to go to school everyday. She would be bouncing around the house telling her dad to hurry up because she wanted to go to school!! And when she played preschool with us this year, it was so much more positive. Nobody got put in time out, and instead we were always told that our work was awesome. I think the way she emulated her teachers says a lot.

We love Corner Canyon Academy! My son always wakes up and is excited to go to pre-school. He has learned so much this year from letters, numbers, social skills, seasons, holidays and the list goes on and on. They love the children and take such good care of them while we are there.

My daughter goes to the mommys day out class and has a lot of fun. She does not want to leave. Great atmosphere.

Marilyn is a terrible person, went in for a tour and instead of giving us a tour she pointed out everything that was wrong with my child. ie the way he walked and speech delay. DO NOT GO HERE SHE IS CRAZY

My daughter is enrolled in the afternoon Pre-School class with Mrs Patty. She ABSOLUTELY loves going to school, and is always so excited to share with us what she learned that day. She is always singing the songs she learned and showing us that she can write our names. We LOVE this school and their amazing staff! Highly recommended! Thank you Corner Canyon Academy for going above and beyond to teach these little minds what they are capable of. We will definitely enroll our future children with you!

Well organized impressive activities that keep the children excited to learn--my kids love the place.

We have LOVED Corner Canyon Academy! It is a wonderful school with a focused curriculum. The Sandy location of this school is brand new and therefore, very clean and organized. The set up of the preschool is definitely focused on the children and learning with the cutest play house built in to it! The school has a secure check in/out with an entrance that is always locked. I was very impressed with all that my daughter has learned this year! The school also offers many other programs and extended hours for preschool. The ONLY reason I give it 4 out of 5 stars (instead of 5 out of 5) is because of cost. I realize the cost is comparable and competitive with other preschools of this same type, but its more than I will be able to afford for my daughter to go to Pre-K next year. I could afford the 2 day/week preschool for the 3-4 year olds (at the very top of my budget!), but I cant afford the 3 day/week pre-K preschool. But aside from that, I would HIGHLY recommend this school.

My name is Kaylynn and i would like to say that my experience with corner canyon has been wonderful, my grandson visits from alaska and is part time, he is always sooo excited to go to (his school) as he calls it, the teachers are kind , helpful, and always are aware of what the child may be feeling, they have made my grandson feel welcome with open arms. He asks about his teacher Miss Leslie and she recognizes him at each visit and his preschool experience has been great and i am so very appreciative of the services that are rendered. I am looking forward to summer school with my grandsons next visit.
