I spoke with one of the employees. Looks like manager has a little one with health issues. Which is causing store not to be open If manager isn’t able to come in. Sending prayers your way. I would be happy to volunteer on weekends if you all need help. Best of luck to all employees.

First time to this location. 11:00 in the morning. They are closed. In the two minutes I sat in my car to write this review, 4 other potential customers came and left.Pretty sad. Im not from this area, and hoped to stop and grab a couple things.Oh well.

Nice that’s its close to home other than saying that there open online abut when u go there closed hours aren’t up to date and the location saying it’s where chase is?! Now hours are 12p-9pm because there “short staffed” I’d hope people would look at this and fix it… people who look online and plan ahead are putting time in there day to go over there and then it’s false… I feel bad now because we where looking for a place to go for fun… even after reading they where open.. other than this there stuff is really good nice but fix this problemUPDATE: so I would love to work here but I don’t meet age requirement for a job here I’d love to work here I know a lot of my friends who like to work here but sadly age requirement is not working out for us so I’ll apply in the next few years

I think corporate should be helping this store out either with hiring or getting people from another store to help. It seems like corporate doesn’t care about this store or it’s employees so just close it down. 🤷🏽‍♀️

Store closed due to a history horrible management and overworked, inpatient employees that I have experienced myself, and is very clear in the reviews.The store has 3 conflicting signs on the front of it, one of which is a huge poster that states Were Open! on the left window, the sign on the doors say that the hours have changed to 1pm - 10pm due to short staffing, and then the final sign states that the store is temporarily closed down on the right window.The least that the owner or the regional manager could due is communicate accurately to the public what the status of the store is. This is extremely unprofessional and unconvenient to the customers.I had to drive to West Jordan after knocking on the door for a time and to calling the phone number listed, which neither were answered.Do yourself a favor and avoid this store until it has new management or new ownership.

The only thing I hate about this store is the snotty Draper Karen’s that shop here! If you’re too good for the Dollar store, Targets up the street! The reason the lines are so long is in fact they’re under staffed & you f corse good ole Joe and his unemployment making it so no one wants to work!! The worst dollar tree!! The employees are always rude and I just went there and they closed at 4:20 pm out of no where!! Some employees were coming out for a smoke break right as I was looking at the sign and they said.. yeah we’re closed for a few days trying to put everything away! What store does that?? They were obviously not they overwhelmed just chilling on the park bench outside. They are unreliable!

I have no issues with this store other than the fact that they are closed in the middle of the day. Ive gone there 3 times at around noon and the doors are locked.

Dont bother. Bizarre hours, bizarre days. Even checking back during their actual posted hours and theyve been closed. Dont trust the Google business hours, theyre really far off.

Store was a complete mess! Store hrs posted, are different than what they manager said. She was walking around with an employee, talking about drugs. Not what the kids need to hear.

If youre going to require customers to wear a mask when they come in, employees should be as well. I just left and the two employees I saw were both not wearing masks. I also got pushed in line by someone trying to put their stuff on the belt to check out when I was obviously 6 ft from the person in front of me and had two more people between myself and the next 6 ft marker. I wont be coming back as I dont feel safe in your store.

Cashier was not wearing a mask. I kindly asked her to put on a mask before I approached her. She acted very put out that I would ask, put it on and let it slide off within seconds of the transaction. No respect whatsoever.

I visited the store 1/14/21 and noticed an employee Candace was coughing and not wearing a mask. I went to notify the manager, Tanya of the situation. Not only was Tanya herself not wearing a mask but she also yelled at me and the other customers saying employee mask wearing was “none of our business”. Tanya escalated without provocation and spewed several profanities, telling several customers to “leave her store”. I noticed there are several other google reviews stating this store does not require employees to wear their masks.

Seems like there’s always a issue with this store /location that circled back to lazy/unprofessional managementBrought my daughter here today to let her spend her tooth fairy money only to see the store locked & closed at 4pm with cheap signs saying closed until 06-24 with zero explanation of any kind & the store making no effort to reflect closed in line

This is such a small store and everything is cramped, the lines go back into the aisles and other dollar trees I’ve been to are much larger. Hard to navigate in the store

Just went to the Draper Ut store. They are covering the credit/ debt card machines with plastic. I told the cashier that the plastic holds more germs on it then without it. She said they wipe them down. I told her it wasnt wiped down after the customer before me. She said well, we are NOT going to wipe It down after every customer.

I currently work there as an assistant manager I get to learn and grow as a better person

Last and final step. Go inside the Dollar Tree, buy and then use what you just bought. This will make a believer out of you. You really can find products for a buck, that work great and save you money.

I was just in there and the cashier did not say one word to me, even when he handed me the receipt. The best part is he was on his phone! There was a huge line behind me and the register was waiting for him to press a button to process my card. He finally got off his phone long enough to push the transaction button. Seriously, I dont expect a full conversation, but being acknowledged and a little common courtesy would be nice.

DO NOT SHOP AT THIS STORE! They require everyone but store employees to where a mask. When the manager was asked why, her comment was I do not have to tell you why we dont wear masks! THIS IS CRAZY!

Exactly what you expect from a dollar store

You have to admit, the Dollar Tree must be a very hard place to work. Its constantly flooded with customers and it is often a thankless job. There is probably a lot of turnaround with the employees. But the assistant manager of this Dollar Tree, named Roger, in Draper, rose above all that and showed the type of man he is. Because he believes in treating people the way he wants to be treated. You will find him always busy and on the run. But, you will always find him going above and beyond and helping you out in a friendly and patient manner. He never gets angry.This manager deserves a raise. Hes the best manager Ive run into at The Dollar Tree. The Dollar Tree needs to try to keep more people like this. Let me tell you what he did one time. I tried to return an item without the tag. I would have been fine if they didnt accept it. But he went ahead and let it slide that one time, which was very gracious. I guess he had tag/barcode that goes with it or another workaround.It only takes one person to make a good review. So this is why I am giving the Dollar Tree, particularly this one, 5 stars.

This is a very large store and great selection of products. I was able to find the items I needed for storage in my kitchen pantry, office, fridge, and many other useful tools for around the house. This is my favorite store of the 4 that I visited in the past week!

They had about 35 fruit punch NOS energy drinks for a dollar each, really good deal compared to other places.

The older woman on shift was nasty.. closed her line. Left the poor other gal with a long line. She asked her to go get some bowls the cranky lady with hurt arm dropped one... told my cashier off in front of us... left glass e everywhere. I went got another bowl. 7 people in line... she just went in back. Left my cashier by herself..she was very nice despite the other cashiers rudeness. Apologized for the behaviour cleaned the mess and continued with her job.

Horrible customer service. Called to ask if they had an item in stock, the lady went off on me and then hung up. I called back appalled and asked her why she went off and that there was no reason to take her bad day out on me, that she can say anything, even no in a nice way. Every time I go in there its the same grumpy attitudes. :(

Everything is a dollar and pritty cheap but I think if you are looking for something cheap and inexpensive this is your place.

One of my favorite Dollar Trees in the US. Shelves are always stocked with a wide variety of items. This is one of the larger stores. Cashiers have always been great at moving the lines, much better then other locations I have been to.

This is a great location. Usually pretty organized and staff for the most part is friendly and helpful. I dont shop here terribly often, but I do love their mylar balloon and greeting cards for such a great price!

This store is a mess. I never go there when the shelves arent t half empty and boxes of unpacked merchandise fill and block the Isles, floors are dirty, poor service. Today I asked who the Mgr was and was told the guy operating a cash register. I happen to have created a chain of factory outlet and dollar stores in Calif in the 1980-90s. I know this business. Wheres the regional management of Dollar Tree? This stores a disgrace.

One of the worst Dollar Trees that Ive ever been in even though its fairly new. Empty shelves were everywhere with Freight blocking the aisles. I waited in line almost 15 minutes because this person in the checkstand didnt call the backup checker I dont know if they had what I wanted it or not I couldnt see half the shelves. I Wont Go Back to this store

The store was dirty, there was graffiti and lewd drawings strewn throughout the store, and it was impossible to find anything.

It had many many items that were helpful and fun but the only complaint I have is that there should be more fake machine fines in the toy section and need better product but otherwise, it is a wonderful store

By far the WORST dollar tree ever. The customer service here is horrible. I called in asking a question and the lady was SO rude and even hung up on me. I called again asking for her name and she hung up again. I called again asking to speak to a manager and she told me “i dont have time for your games”. I called again and she disconnected the phone line. Save yourself from this very bad customer service and of you have to drive an extra mile to another location do it. I will be calling again asking for a manager and also calling corporate.

I would give them a zero if I could. The managers are incompetent. There are always lines with 6+ people even when tnere’s another employee to ring people up. I always have to go and find someone and ASK them to get on a register and they always give me attitude or just don’t do it. I can’t stand very long and there was another lady with a cane behind me, she was having trouble standing for so long as well. The cashier was on her phone talking about inappropriate things while ringing up and wouldn’t call for help. When I asked she put her finger up as to shush me. They don’t greet you, they don’t talk to you half the time, I don’t know who hires at this place but they need to dive deeper in their applications. I drive a few miles further to go to a different one just to avoid these people. Worst service ever.

A lot of the shelves were empty. There was stacks of boxes everywhere, down the aisles, in between the aisles- it was an obstacle course to maneuver around them. There was one cashier and the line wrapped down the candy aisle. There was one other employee in the store, looked like a manager, instead of coming up front to help the line of customers, they were taking down Easter decorations. The cashier overcharged us and didnt know how to fix it so we told her wed just grab something else.

Found what I needed, and had a pleasant conversation with an older gentleman employee. The lines moved quickly..Thank You

I needed help finding a product so I approached a man that worked at the store to ask if he could assist me. When I started to ask him he cut me off mid-sentence saying “I’m off”. I was suprised at the rude response so I asked again if he could just quickly help me find a product. This time he started walking away while I was in the middle of my sentence and said “no, I said I’m off”. Really?! Get over your fat self and help me out! It would take 30 seconds!

Store is trashed, boxes full of unpacked merchandise everywhere. My cart had so much hair/etc wrapped around one wheel it wouldnt push. I went to check out at the lane where the light was on and an employee standing two lanes over ignored me until I asked if I was in the right lane. She said yeah, the employee working it just went to the back for a minute. 5 minutes later I asked if she knew if shed be back soon and she said she didnt know. Another 5 minutes later and now with a line four people long, I asked a third time and ended up leaving my stuff on the conveyor belt and walking out with my now screaming baby. But good thing the employee that was there got her garbages emptied which seemed to be all she could focus on for 10 minutes while actual paying customers backed up at the register 5 feet away. Unbeliavble customer service and what a waste of 20 minutes just to leave empty handed. If this Dollar Tree were the last store in existance I still will never shop there again. Not worth saving a little money AT ALL.

Chaotic unorganized feeling to the whole store, cashier was rude and talking to friends who were visiting her, instead of doing her job. That was the only visible employee. Very disappointing even for a dollar store. The only reason I would return is due to distance from another store, but next time Ill make the trip.

Disappointing.When living in Draper the past three years I stopped in this location a bunch of times, but each time its getting messier and messier. More and more often the merchandise is still in its shipping box and just stacked near and end cap, making aisles hard to navigate, and making it hard to shop overall. I went in this week for a certain holiday item in a certain pattern, and saw the boxes of merchandise I wanted stacked near the aisle, with only one open. Sadly this box did not contain what I needed. I was tempted to ask for a box cutter to enable me to shop the yet-unpacked-but-still-on-the floor-merchandise, but was short on time so just left. I may go back and open boxes myself later, since I need 20 of the item Im looking for. But then again, maybe I wont. Giving 2 stars because the Dollar Tree in Riverton, where I live now, is even worse. Perspective.
