I went to Latchkey for 4 years now. When it was my first year there all the teachers and kids were nice and than in my 4th year all the teachers started to be very strict and rude all of a sudden. It was like nice teachers were switched with mean teachers and one of my friends got in trouble for someone shouting something out. Also I cant do anything usually do outside like playing soccer on the soccer fields and making homes out of sticks, rocks, and dirt. DONT SIGN UP FOR LATCHKEY AT ALL!

DO NOT TRUST THEMLast year I had my son enrolled at Latchkey at Sells. I went one afternoon to pick up and the middle school students were being allowed to run laps in the hallway. When I first entered the building all I saw was kids running around. I couldnt find an adult. I finally found the lady inside the teachers lounge with the door shut. She was eating snacks. I was very angry at this woman who was not supervising my son. I told all the kids to get back in the classroom and wrote on the sign out sheet that the kids werent being supervised. I went home and left a very angry voicemail admittedly with some bad words and yelling. I was mad and scared about what could have happened.Latchkey responded by telling my husband I was no longer allowed to pick up and they didnt want to have contact with me. THEY LIED REPEATEDLY ABOUT WHERE THE ADULT WAS WHEN I ARRIVED. The principal of the middle school watched the videos and confirmed there was no supervision. They refused to communicate with me after I caught them putting my child in danger. Thats how this situation remains to this day. They never would speak with me.Do not trust that this program is actually supervising your child. These minimum wage workers arent qualified and Dublin Latchkey has lost all credibility for not responding to my HUGE problem with their program.

My daughter has attended for the past 3 years. Recently her location had a change of lead teachers. The new one is far less capable of managing what is admittedly a stubborn child. With zero notice we have been told my daughter is not welcome back simply because she got upset about something and would not follow instructions, thus setting a bad example for other children. They call themselves teachers but discriminate against children with extremely high functioning autism and adhd. Truly a shame.

I too have experience of Dublin Latchkey program DISCRIMINATION, which is a VIOLATION of the Americans with Disabilities Act Title II (if really run by ODJFS) or Title III (if privately owned). It seems Im not alone in falling victim to their incompassion toward children, especially those with special needs. You can call ADA info hotline to learn more about your rights, or file an official complaint on the ADA web, if reasonable attempts to resolve the issue directly are unsuccessful.Kudos to all of you parents advocating for your kids and reassuring them of their value despite this despicable program.I will detail my experience if allowed, once I have completed trying to resolve directly with Dublin Latchkey, and/or my complaint to the DOJ through the ADA web, with help from an attorney, has been resolved.

This place is very discriminatory!! If you are a single father DONT COME HERE ! The woman in the office by the name of Kim will ask for more payments, ask the males if they will sign a waiver stating that they will NEVER be late in picking up their child (women are not asked to sign this) she would even ask for more payments up front. When I was in the office I overheard the office manager on the phone speaking with a women (I could hear her voice) and she stated if you are late there is a small fee nothing was spoken about a waiver. I asked to speak to the head of this organization and was told everyone was gone for the day, yet the office hours state 3, and it was 2:40! No one ever called me back about my concerns, because they DONt CARE THAT DISCRIMINATE. The director would not speak to me on the phone because this person KIM does all of the talking for her. I would be interested in knowing when their contact is up for renewal with the Dublin City School. I believe another organization would do a much better job.

I have enrolled my daughter in this program for the 2nd consecutive year. The convenience of on-site (school) location is nice, and the instructors and activities made her time there enjoyable last year.HOWEVER, the customer experience through the enrollment process is horrible. Their main office is only open from 9:00 - 1:00 M-F, and there is no means to complete the registration process and payment online. They do have online forms that contain multiple layers of redundancy in the information required, but you need a password to complete them which is not provided. After calling the office and listening to the entire recorded message, this pw is provided there - whats the point? Upon completing this online application, it is supposed to be emailed to the user, who then signs and initials 10 areas, and remits it with payment (check or cash only - and exact amount) in person to the main office - during their 9-1 M-F business hours. There is actually a note on their website urging people to call ahead to make sure theyll be there even during these times. When I called yesterday, I was hung up on mid sentence. I was assured that it was not intentional, but there was an unmistakable sound of a handset being placed on a cradle when it happened, and no hello?, hello? that was told commenced.First of all, for a business that makes a sizable profit from working parents who need assistance during business hours, how does this establishment justify requiring these same consumers to accommodate their limited availability during the workday?Secondly, it is inexcusable for this same profitable organization to remain so painfully antiquated in terms of automation. They need to hire a new webmaster, partner with Paypal, or any of a ton of available integrated payment options, and *not* require me to dust off the checkbook and come into their office for the initial enrollment. When I expressed my concerns in their office today, I was told it wasnt their thing and the policies came from above. I asked to speak with a Manager, and was given a post-it note with their primary office # and the name Kim. Thats it. Upon seeing one prior negative review on Google, I was compelled to actually create an account and post my first review just to share the experience in hopes that perhaps *this* might rattle some chains, or cause others to question the value for their dollar with this service.

Their main office is open only very limited hours. Please check their open timings before you waste your time on the phone. Their answering system does not necessarily notify you that their office is closed.
