I was in the area and decided to stop by for a haircut but I wasnt happy with the end results so I ended up going to another barber to fix It. .

I just wasnt happy with the haircut at all. The barber done more talking to other people than concentrating on cutting my hair. Will not go back again. Sorry

I was there for 3 days and quit, this place has no instructors, no professionalism, you sit there and read all day while the only so call instructor there is on the phone taking personal calls or watching tv, if you are looking for a respectable barber school, stay he hell away from this place

Avoid this place unless you have money to waste. Quality of haircut was poor and priced extremely high $25 for simple mans haircut. Prices are displayed on small sheet near register, probably intentionally so customers dont know the cost until your done.

Im here to tell you if you want a good time and a great cut...this is the place. Im an overall wearing 47 yr old white man that loves BBQ and corn whiskey. Did I feel at home here today??? You better know it!!! Ill be back and Im bringing more with me. THANKS Mr Smith and ALL the rest of you as well. 100% professional and respectful to customers AND themselves.

This is more like a hangout than a place of business. The owner is pretty hood and lacks professionalism. The men hair cut rates are overpriced and are not provided by licensed barbers.

Great spot i went to von the barber he did a really good job on my hair cut very professional and detailed. gave me a great edge up I recommend going to see him. The place was very clean and he gave me a great barber shop experience the owner was nice and greeted me with respect. I will be going back!

Upset with my experience. Met Mr. Smith while I was out one night & he seemed like a cool guy so I told myself I would go check him out one day. Called him on his cell before I go in to make sure hes available & he says Come on in. Someone will take care of you. I told him straight up, Im rocking with you based on your charisma & I really only want you to cut my hair. Even told him I would wait another day if I had to. He told me not to worry & hell take care of me, so I went. Pulled up & realized that this was more of a school than a barbershop so it threw me off (I thought the institute and teacher thing was just marketing) but I asked if Mr. Smith was free because I just got off the phone with him. He literally passed me to the first student he caught eyes with. So Im a little irritated because when I go to a restaurant & order chicken, I dont want the chef telling me Its cool man. I got you this turkey. I asked for Mr. Smith & I told him I wasnt trying to get a haircut from anyone else so I dont know why he thought it was okay to just pass me off like that. Smh. Now the guy he passed me to wasnt too bad, but you could tell he was new. There were a lot of little things he missed & he even started rushing the cut when his friends started leaving. Cut my lip while working on my mustache & everything. . . But its all good. Luckily, hair grows back, so Im not too mad but I wont be going back to this spot anymore

Im currently a student at the Gwinnett Barber Institute and so far I have enjoyed every minute of it. The instructors are second to none with their hands on approach to teaching of proper barber shop etiquette, sanitation policies and of course hair cutting techniques to prepare students to not only pass the state board license exam, but to also have a promising career in the barbering / cosmetology field.

I adore the staff, theyre so attentive. When I needed one on one tutoring, I was helped immediately. The tuition is very affordable. Id recommend anyone to start here.

So I took my son to the Gwinnett Barber Institute today and it was a really great experience. Vince the Barbour, that cut my sons hair Taj Jones was perfect lineup was perfect he gave him a fade it looks absolutely perfect, and the price was reasonable you know and its just like any other Barber Shop you know they shoot the s*** but they kept it clean and I appreciated that I will definitely be bringing my son back there

If youre coming in for a good and quick cut, then go somewhere else!!I went here after reading a review that the price is about $7 for a basic mens haircut and is done by students.I expected a student to cut my hair for their experience and I would pay them... instead I was charged $25 for the haircut by a licensed barber and he did a horrible job, even after the repeated fixes I requested. Since I came with my father I assumed the price was for both of us but it wasnt.It took the barber about 45 minutes or so to cut/trim my hair and when I got up I had to go outside and knock off all the excess hair left over.The students and staff were not dressed as professionally as I would have expected from a Barber School, and the atmosphere was inappropriate. They played vulgar standup comedy (Joe Rogan) on the TV for Ambiance which discussed topics such as sexual preference, politics, sexism, racism, etc...Also, the price list was not easily displayed on the wall or within view of the customers and I had to wonder around before finally finding it laying flat of the front counter partially concealed by some clipboards. When I went to pay they acted like they didnt have a card machine and I later found it as well.

I always have a great experience when I come to get my haircut because of the friendly barbers and professional environment. I am always pleased with my haircut the owner gives me. He is creative and amazing at his craft.

I came in to get a haircut and Mrs. Watson directed me to Xavier... He did an awesome job and i love the design he created.. I will definately be returning. The other barbers were so fun inviting and made me comfortable.

So fare Ive been attending this school for two weeks and I can honestly say Ive Learned that In this industry not just a career but art also. The ppl here are great and the teaching is quality. They have flexible schedules to work around your schedule! Affordable tuition! And a great environment! !!

Worst cut I’ve gotten, left a very noticeable bald spot and completely butchered my hair line. Will not be coming back as I don’t have 2 hrs to waste on a bad cut.
