My fiance and I were working with Beverly out of this office and had an awful experience. I openly shared with her that my rental credit needs repairing, She said I can use a cosignor. My father-in-law was my cosignor. Were given background forms and rental forms to fill out and was asked to pay a $100 fee. The first sign that I noticed that something was awry was when Beverly sent us the incorrect forms. She sent us a form that should have been sent to the owner of the house. Then another sign was the forms had myself, my fiance and the owners info all mixed up. The next sign was Beverly asking us to pay her the $100 by check or moneyorder. Which wasnt an issue until she told us to leave the payee info blank so she can fill it out for us.... Unknowingly to me, Beverly also told my father-in-law he needs to pay $100 also and that shed accept a credit card number from him.Finally after Beverly got the info on the forms correct, we filled them out immediately and returned them. I never heard anything back from Beverly for 3 days. She never returned any of my phone calls or emails. Eventually she tells us that we were denied because I exaggerated my income on the form. I tried to speak with Beverly to see how any income verification was done if she didnt ask for my checkstubs or if she didnt call my job to verify my income. She tried to say that the home owner is doing this. Ironically, THE CREDIT CARD NUMBER THAT MY FATHER-IN-LAW GAVE TO BEVERLY WAS ILLEGALLY USED TO MAKE PURCHASES FROM 4 DIFFERENT PLACES.Im a young, successful, hard working black man. I feel discriminated against as a result of this experience. NOT ONLY DO i FEEL DISCRIMINATED AGAINST BUT IM ALSO DISAPPOINTED THAT MY FATHER-IN-LAW HAD HIS CREDIT COMPROMISED BEHIND THIS NONSENSE. All in all this was the worst experience ever.
