My son started going to Karate Atlanta Dunwoody at age of 5. Its being more than 3 years now & I can proudly say it was a good decision! He has grown as brave, disciplined and focused kid. His confidence has gone up which helps him in school and at other places when he is around grown-up kids & strangers.Mr. Hunt is one the best coach / mentor I have seen. He has special ability to motivate kids and also keep them so close to him.

My son has been attending classes at KA Dunwoody for nearly two years. The instructors are great, and the program has definitely helped with character building.

This is a wonderful place to do karate

We have 2 sons here and they continue to have passion, respect and love for martial arts. Their strength and character are growing all while having fun! Mr. Hunt and the entire Karate Atlanta Dunwoody staff are exceptional!

My son has been taking karate from Karate Atlanta Dunwoody for about 2 years now and loves it. The instructor is so knowledgeable and patient with the kids and it has been such a great experience. We really like the focus on discipline and respect too.

I have been training here for almost two years. The instructors are very knowledgeable and very friendly. I feel I have grown mentally, physically, and spiritually. The continual progression in skills keeps me motivated. If you are looking for an alternative to gyms, I strongly recommend Karate Atlanta at Dunwoody.

Dont sign the annual contract. There is no way out of it even if you experience financial hardships. They dont care and just want their money.Inspite of covid/pandemic situation contract was not terminated and money was not refunded. Not a place to go if you are worried about contract. I am planning to take this up with concerned people.

My son has done really well here. I have been impressed by his growth in discipline, athleticism, and general karate skills.

I have never seen so much dishonesty.They’ll charge you for everything single thing.They made me pay for test, as if I had an option.They teach, then charge to test the child.The’ll make you pay for instruments, you must purchase from them.Then charge for registration, if you have to cancel they’ll also charge $150. After you just sign up 1 month ago.The contract does show the actual cost.They will give a booklet to take home, after signing the contract.Off course all extra expenses is not highlighted.They’ll force you to stay or pay for the cancellation fee, even if you send proof that you can’t longer continue.

My kid attending this facility more than a year and this is the 3 rd facility he is attending.There are number of good and bad things this facility have. I would say stuff are good and I would recommend this facility for better future of your kid.

Me and my little brother are really loving this place. Amazing teachers and fellow students too!! But there are some bad things.

Actually Zero stars. The admin person is irresponsible. I gave proper notice and documents to end the contract but she meshed up things and my credit card is charged even after the contract termination. When called no proper response. Working with bank on the dispute now. Irresponsible admin staff. I won’t recommend this location. First their staff needs to be taught to be responsible, later they can teach for kids.

Karate Atlanta Dunwoody is AMAZING! The instructors are caring and teach the values and discipline that I want my children to learn. Once you start attending classes it becomes like a second home. The community is a very strong one. Signing your child up (and adults are welcome too) is the best gift you can give to anyone!

My four year old learns respect discipline and karate here, while he has lots of fun. Compliments for Mr Monroe who seems to have a gift handling the young ones.

My son is 4 years old when he started going to Karate ATA at Dunwoody location.We took 5 days trial classes to see how are the classes and we liked the way they teach at this age group, so we enrolled our son for year. 🥋🥋🥋🥋Staff is awesome friendly, great at combining fun and martial arts. They know each child name along with his/her performance.Instructor shows dedication, caring and seriousness about building students confidence and skills in karate.Overall Very Good place to start learning for any age group. 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

I can’t say enough about Karate Atlanta Dunwoody the entire staff are amazing. My 4 year son and I both take classes here and the level of respect and dedication to everyone is phenomenal. Mr. Hunt and his staff are simply put the best around. If you’re looking for a great place to not just learn Taekwondo but to learn life skills then go here.

I have been training here for almost 3 years, after transferring from a different Karate Atlanta. The instructors here are very friendly and very well skilled in their art. Since transferring I have been able to up my game by 120%!the training here is amazing and the entire is very welcoming and friendly to everyone!

After years of searching for the activity that best suited my son Garry, we found it at Karate Atlanta. It has been great for him, not just for the athleticism, but for building confidence and discipline as well. The instructors here are phenomenal, very patient, and there is a real sense of family and wanting the children to succeed!

My daughter, who is nine, has been taking karate with Mr. Hunt at Karate Atlanta Dunwoody for over three years. She recently obtained her black belt. She has gained a tremendous amount of confidence through the leadership skills taught in class, and continues to grow as she helps the younger kids through the Legacy program.My wife and I signed up and will be testing for our black belts at the end of this year / early next year. I have enjoyed the exercise and aerobic activity, and much prefer karate over going to the gym, which I get incredibly bored with.Mr. Hunt is an outstanding instructor who does exceptionally well with the really young children. If you are looking for a physical activity for your children that will teach discipline, leadership, and many other life skills, I highly recommend Karate Atlanta. And if you are an adult looking for a different kind of workout routine, I also recommend Karate Atlanta.

Both of my daughters (ages 4 and 5) have had wonderful experiences here. The instructors not only teach sructure and discipline but they also build confidence. We enjoy being able to attend multiple classes each week. I highly recommend Karate Atlantas Dunwoody location!

My son has been coming to Karate Atlanta Dunwoody for almost 2 years. His focus and physical abilities has improved a lot since he first started. Aside from learning karate, they emphasize discipline and character building. Teachers know how to relate to students of all ages and they make the classes engaging and fun.

With 6 martial artists in the family we needed a very family oriented place to train. After moving to this school from another location I have seen my kids training blossom! They all enjoy coming and always feel welcome. Oh, and the adult classes are awesome!

My son has been taking lessons here for two years. He is gaining confidence and learning respect, all while doing fun ninja moves! Instructors are fantastic.

My little brother has been going to the karate Atlanta dojo for about a year and a half now. He started when he was four years old and has made his way all the way through the tiny tigers belts and hes now in the juniors belt and one step closer to becoming a black belt. I can really see a difference in his discipline and confidence. Hes not shy when I comes to making new friends and hes able to focus on certain tasks much better now. After 7 months of classes, both of my sons continue to have passion, respect and love for Karate and for the entire Karate Dunwoody staff and instructors. Both sons say they want to keep going until they are Black Belt Leaders!

Families from Woodland Elementary have enrolled students at Karate Atlanta for years. The feedback we get from parents and teachers is fantastic. The staff is extremely professional. The kids have a positive experience and the company is very involved in the communities of Sandy Springs and Dunwoody!

My children have been training with Mr.Hunt and many other wonderful instructors at Karate Atlanta for about 1 and a half years now. Even during this short duration, I have seen many improvements not only in discipline but many other areas as well. My children have also tried training in other dojos, but KA is different from all of them. This is because the instructors there create an interactive experience for all age groups. I would absolutely recommend Karate Atlanta to anyone who is looking for a safe, family friendly environment to suit needs of all ages.

The Suscas LOVE Karate Atlanta Dunwoody! Our kids have been going here for 2+ years, and were getting ready to start our 3rd child this fall. The staff is super friendly, encouraging, and great with the kids, especially Ms. Diore for the younger ones. Mr. Hunt, the lead instructor, with the help of his assistants, do a great job building discipline, focus and confidence in the kids through positive encouragement, high-fives, life skill stripes, and class demonstrations. Personally, I love that they learn a variety of self defense techniques, along with respect and discipline that carries through to our home environment. We use many of the same skills and tools that they use in class at home, and have seen a huge improvement in them. I would highly recommend attending Karate Atlanta Dunwoody for anyone interested in martial arts.

This place is awesome! The instructors are so patient with the little ones! My son is super enthusiastic, which usually means unfocused LOL, and they are so good at reigning him in and getting him to pay attention and love karate at the same time! I am so happy we decided to bring our son here!

Putting aside the unquestionable advantages of martial arts training - discipline, respect, focus, perseverance, responsibility, self-control, and confidence, Mr. Hunt and the other instructors at this school put their heart and soul into everything they do here. They are all uniquely different in what they bring to the table, but Mr. Hunt has put together an incredible staff like Mr. Michi, Ms. Diore, Mrs. Hoover, and Mrs. Karakow who all care deeply about the students who attend, and they make training lots of fun for them. The staff here take their time to engage every child, and make participation fun and empowering for each of them. My kids look forward to attending classes, and this school has given them the perfect environment to build their confidence in both themselves and their abilities in a safe and supportive atmosphere. They say public speaking is the single most scariest thing for people (of all ages)....at Karate Atlanta Dunwoody their program builds confidence by encouraging class participation, group and solo demonstrations, and highlights their achievements with positive reinforcement, encouragement, and acceptance. Your kids will emerge stronger, better versions of themselves, and as parents you realize that those valuable life skills you teach them at home are continually emphasized in class here. As a parent who has recently stated as well, I love being able to share the experience with my kids, and also find something to help me stay fit. Its one of the few activities you can do at any age, size, weight, and ability. The adult classes are super fun and engaging, and cover all levels of skill as well. After moving to the sandy springs area we finally found a new ATA school.Karate Atlanta, Dunwoody has a very kid friendly atmosphere, making it easy for everyone to learn and improve on their self discipline.The instructors are very attentive to the students of all ages and level. It was easy for my son to settle in, being that he came from another ATA school. I would definetly recommend to anyone intetested in Taekwondo.
