Three of us and our pilot went up and had a wonderful morning flight! Our pilot, Brandon was safety conscious, professional, courteous and FUN! We were able to see great views and get our pics faster than we expected, fly over our house on the way back in 1 1/2 hours instead of the 2 we had expected! Brandon made that possible so we will be back!One tip, it is cold even in June at high altitude! ! Also, We opted for doors off and got GREAT pics so that was our choice. A bit queasy feeling even with seatbelts! LOLWE ENJOYED EVERY MINUTE! Thank you Brandon at Highland Helicopters!!!

My kids (ages 7 and 4) went for their first helicopter ride today and they absolutely loved it. The pilot was very professional and great with the kids. The flight was as smooth as could be. I would highly recommend Colorado Highland Helicopters for just about everything.

If you want a very professional and knowledgeable instructor, an amazing helicopter for flight training, and very reasonable prices, Colorado Highland Helicopters is for you! This is also great place for sightseeing tours.I am a very rusty, fixed wing private pilot who is returning to flying, and this time in my dream aircraft, an MD500. I initially contacted Colorado Highland Helicopter as they have an MD500 that they will use for initial helicopter flight training. However, I will be staying with them for my flight training (even though I live in Northern Utah), due to the amazing experience I had. The real star of this review is Brandon Laird; a very patient, professional, knowledgeable, and experienced flight instructor. Although I haven’t had any other helicopter flight instructors, I have had many fixed wing instructors over the years, and Brandon is the best instructor I have ever flown with. Not only is he a great pilot and instructor, but he prioritizes safety overall. He can absolutely make his helicopter dance around the sky!Colorado Highland Helicopters is the best experience I have had in flight training, and I highly recommend them to prospective helicopter pilots.

My fiancee and I had a blast flying around Durango and the San Juans. Brandon is a fantastic pilot that made my fiancee feel comfortable and enjoy the experience ( she is nervous flying). We toured the needles and turned around in the Silverton. The views were breath taking and we got to see views that few people ever get to see from 14K ft. I will be recommending the experience to everyone, and hopefully start flying lessons with Brandon.
