Kids love this place! My friends son had a party there recently and all the kids and some adults had a ball playing in the common area and singing along with the staff during the music time. My friend provided the decorations but everything was set up well. The party ran smoothly and the staff were on top of things. No complaints.

Since it was a super hot day, we decided to check out this indoor play space! It was really neat. Lots of different areas to play in. The big guitar slide was really fun and I liked how the notes played when they were stepped on! With it being a hot Saturday morning, the space quickly filled up. The only downside is that its not a little bit bigger.

I didn’t give 5 stars because they’re closed on Saturdays which is the one day I really want to take my children there. Otherwise it’s a great musically inspired play place. My boys love the slide and karaoke rooms. They also have a bounce house and plenty of other musical toys and instruments. It’s pretty small but everything is geared towards your child unleashing their inner musician.

Been here several times and the kid loves it. Apparently theres a lull in kids mid-afternoon so that might be a good time to go if your kid doesnt like large crowds.I’ve gone to a few birthday parties here and each one has been great. They include play time and an activity. At one we made a home made kazoo which the kids loved.

Great place for kids, with a unique take on music interactivity. Also good for music lessons. I highly recommend it.I posted a copy of the class schedule for example of lessons. My 4 year old son loves his class!

This was our first visit. I took my 3 year old daughter and 2 year old niece during free play from 4-6pm on Saturday. We were invited by our neighbor for her daughters first birthday party. My daughter and niece had so much fun. I also like that they allow you or an older sibling into the play area to keep a closer eye on your child. We will be returning.

You all did a fantastic job with your Noon Years Eve event. The kids performing are professional and belong in a movie or in front of even bigger audiences. The music selection rocked! My wife and I had as much fun as the kids. Your business is very admirable!

Awesome place, highly recommend!! I planned to have my daughters birthday party at a park, but due to it raining the day of I had to find another venue the morning of her party. Lisa returned my call promptly and immediately made me feel at ease that they would be able to accommodate my party of 40. Lisa and staff were all so friendly and helpful! Ive been to lots of bounce house places this by far is one of the cleanest. I love the set up as there are plenty of chairs/tables for parents to sit and watch their kids, the play area was small so you could keep an eye on them well. My only suggestion would be to have padding at bottom around the large slide for safety if a child were to fall and for better cushion when sliding down. The party room and lounge area were nice and spacious enough to hold my large party. They even have a karaoke room that the kids loved! The price was reasonable especially for last minute, and Lisa took care of the clean up. My daughter and her friends loved it! Thanks so much for making my daughters party a success! We will be back!

Great place to go. Though the space is small, theres plenty of room for kids to play and parents to supervise. We love the music thats incorporated into each area of free play. I highly recommend checking it out, though be aware that on rainy days or days when school is closed, it will be packed.

This place is awesome. Great place to work out some wiggles on a rainy day, and the music theme is so creatively and cleverly incorporated into the play spaces. Also major props for the high chairs that actually reach the counter-level seating so my kiddo and I could easily break for lunch and then get back to playing!

This place offers so much for kids and families. There ate lessons for all ages, special events, camps and they offer open play in their Music based Toy area. Everything rotates around music. There is a musical slide a map with regional music you can play& so much more. The open play is paid for the Day so nap time no longer determines if you visit because you can go leave for nap time and return later! Love this place!

This was our familys Sunday afternoon tradition, for a long while, our daughter has a blast in the bouncy house, on the really big slide, and in the karaoke booths. They have a small snack bar, and will allow you to bring in picnic lunches for your kids. Its a great time for all when they are open and not hosting birthday parties, one of the best places in Durham for kids and parents alike to unwind.

My 6 and almost 7year old had a BLAST playing here today! There is a dedicated space for little ones and interesting things, including karaoke booths and a fabulous stage, to engage older children. I loved the set up -- I could sit at the cafe table and easily watch my kids play, and I could also join in the fun. Staff were lovely and unobtrusive but kept kids from crashing on the slide. Really well executed, really great place to blow off steam on a cold wet day. Well be going back!

My favorite place in Durham to spend a couple hours with my young child-- its fun for her, and laid back and relaxing for me. And coffee!!! Also, the folks who own it are super nice people, and its great to support a small locally owned business. We also loved my daughters 3rd birthday party here-- highly recommend! My teenager has also taken piano lessons here, and they do a great job for a very reasonable rate!

This place has got a great, fun vibe, and hands-down the best slide in the triangle. My kids couldve stayed there all day. Love the way parents can hang out around the perimeter with coffee and a muffin while the kiddies played.

It was a very cool place for older kids went for open play space. All my 2.5 yr old was really interested in was the small slide. The bounce house had older kids in it so they werent careful of the younger kids. The big slide was a blast but he couldnt climb up it by himself. I saw lots of parents having to go with their kids which is awesome but not easy for the parents to get up and not much space at the top. I think $8 was kind of expensive for him to be just interested in a slide. I would definitely recommend for older kids around 4yr to 6yr.

Theres a lot I really appreciate about this space, and my child loves being there. Im not a huge fan of the sheer number of Bible songs on the karaoke machines. A couple are fine, but since no other religions are represented in this way, it doesnt seem terribly respectful or inclusive of all families/childrens faiths (or lack thereof). Glad my child doesnt read yet.

Ive been to Notasium twice. I have a preschooler and a toddler. We greatly enjoyed both visits. There are a variety of activities that kept my kids occupied and engaged the entire time we were there. The set-up allows parents to relax and watch the kids from the perimeter or to play right along with them. I did a bit of both but tended to be more involved, especially when it came to the karaoke. Having Bean Traders coffee available for purchase is a great, ahem, perk. Overall, its nice to have a place that keeps the kids active for a couple of hours and perhaps piques their interest in music as well.

This is the best place in the triangle to bring your kids to have fun and learn music. Both of our kids love it!. Also, they have begun taking lessons... The musical staff there is very impressive. I think were very lucky to have something like this here. I highly recommend Notasium!

Great place for little ones (under 6ish). Pretty small, so expect to spend only an hour or two there before the kids get bored. It’s AWESOME that parents don’t have to pay and they sell coffee and snacks. Great creative space

My kids and some friends from out of town (ages 4yrs- 8mos) had a play date here at Notasium during open play. The adults and kids had an awesome time. We will definitely come back. SN: Call ahead to make sure they are not closed for private parties.
