My son studied piano with Dr. Frank Pittman for four years from 9th to 12th grade. Had I known what a rewarding experience it would be, I would have started his lessons much earlier. Dr. Pittman challenged him to play music by Mozart, Grieg, Ginastera, Brahms, Debussy, Rachmaninoff, Bach, Beethoven, and Chopin and taught him to express the unique characteristics of each individual composer. He also supported my son as he participated in numerous performance competitions at the regional, state, and national level. (These came in handy for college applications!) Dr. Pittman has an excellent rapport with his students and it was a joy to watch him draw out this musical ability in my son. As a parent, I highly recommend Dr. Pittman for any level piano student.
