I am so lucky that I found South Square KinderCare!! They have been great with my son since he started in the infant room at 4 months old. We have been going there for a year now and I am so happy with them They! They are very responsive with any questions or requests that I have. Their app is great for updating me on what/when he eats, diapers, and naps. Plus it is always a pick me up for the day when they upload photos or videos of him!! They are very flexible with discounted vacation rates and worked with my cloth diapers and glass bottles. Everyone there is so friendly and treats my son as if he was their own, and he looks forward to going there every day!

This is a great daycare! As a first time mom I was very nervous to send my child to daycare. The team at South Square KinderCare was very helpful in alleviating my fears and they were always up for answering my questions or explaining how things work. The measures they have taken to prevent COVID are great and all the staff wear masks. The app that the center uses is awesome and gives you updates throughout the day for everything your child does (and I mean everything!) and sometimes you even get cute pictures of your little one doing fun activities at school! I feel that my child is safe and will be well cared for in a clean environment when I drop him off at this daycare and I have recommended it to friends with little ones who are looking for a good daycare. Shout out to Ms. Jaleesha Petty for always having a positive and bright attitude and always treating me with patience and giving me her time when I call with questions or abruptly ask something during drop-off or pickup. Thank you to everyone at this KinderCare for all you do.

My experience with this center has been nothing but amazing! From the moment I enrolled my son, I felt welcomed and knew my child would be in good hands. JaLeesha is simply amazing. She shows daily how passionate she is about the work that she does and how much she truly cares about each and every child and parent. Thank you KinderCare for an amazing program and wonderful staff.

Front desk is Not professional. When I attempted to check my child in, she stopped me and said “no” in a very rude tone. There was a miscommunication that didn’t involve me so while I was confused, she had an attitude instead of hearing me out. To be honest, I’m glad I couldn’t bring my child; I wouldn’t want her around that hostile woman.

Oh wow, there’s so much to say about KinderCare. I am so blessed to be apart of the KinderCare family as a guardian. My granddaughter has been a student since September 2018 and she’s so excited and happy about attending school everyday. She looks forward to what’s taught to her and memorizes everything she’s learned that day. Her mother and I are absolutely pleased. I, myself, was a KinderCare parent years ago in another city of NC when my two oldest were little and the care they received was satisfying to me. Now my granddaughter is apart of the KinderCare family and I’m again satisfied and pleased. I wish KinderCare the very best, keep striving to perfection, and thank you thank you thank you. God bless. KinderCare South Square is the VERY BEST DAYCARE! You CAN NOT get better care Anywhere! Ms. JaLeesha is Always Professional, the center is Always clean and her spirit is, Loving, Positive, warm and caring. You can tell she loves those babies! She greets everyone the same. My great niece JaNiyah is quite the handful and her teacher Ms. Ashley and Ms. Annette know just how to handle her with loving arms. They are Awesome! I trust them with her. I never have to worry about JaNiyah while I work. I know she is greatly cared for. I Love them! JaNiyah just turned 2 years old and is already doing great in Potty training and can count to 10, and sing the whole alphabet song! GOD blessed us with KinderCare! Thank you KinderCare!

I cant say enough how wonderful the staff are here. We were really nervous about enrolling our infant in a daycare at first. Its hard to trust that someone will take care of your baby as well as you would. But Ms. Linda and Ms. Beverly are so kind and reassuring. They are well organized and obviously have years of experience with babies (and nervous moms, haha). From the start, I could tell my baby was in good hands which made going back to work so so much easier. I love the daily updates and photos of their activities throughout the day. Ms. Jaleesha does a great job running the place and its very apparent that the office staff and teachers work together as a team to make sure both the kids and the parents are well taken care of. A+

Not recommended for anyone’s child. They don’t care about the health and well being of children. They don’t support breast feeding moms after the age of one. They just tell you whatever sounds good. Loves the teaching curriculum and the app but when it comes to a child’s health and well being. No bueno.

KinderCare has been a tremendous benefit in reference to our family. It provides a safe and learning environment, where your child can receive educational and social skill building. None of the staff is aware of what is going on with your child. Someone was either not there that day or on lunch. I ordered my kids pictures with the rest of his class and never received them, the administrator was unsure of what was going, seems like no one is really sure of what is going on at kindercare. Always a high teacher-staff turnaround, the classroom is crowded and in one area, I dont see how my son was even able to nap properly with the larger kids constantly making noises right beside his area. I tried to keep my son in this school because it was near work and home, but when a 3 year old tells you he does not like his school, believe him.

A Little over a year ago, we took on the role (by surprise and out of necessity) of foster parents to our FOUR nieces and nephews! It was a major life changing event, especially this late stage in our life, that was not anticipated nor were we prepared. We have not had kids at this young age in our life for almost 15 years. Immediately, we began searching for a reputable child care facility. We heard positive things about KinderCare and decided to try it for ourselves. It was the right decision!KinderCare has helped us in so many ways. It has been a TREMENDOUS factor in the development of the kids. The environment is friendly and safe. The children enjoy the company of the staff. They facilitate class work that prepared the children for elementary, to include other skills such as social, fine motor, and speech skills. KinderCare is always flexible in helping us with our specific needs. Mr. Tom, Ms. Kim, and Ms. Jessica are awesome! They give us words of advice on age appropriate development to academic issues and even how to address behavior issues appropriately. They genuinely love and care for our children and the children who come into their care. We dont know where we would be without their help. We cannot imagine how our lives would be if it was not for their help and guidance in our daily life. Either my husband or I regularly say to each other and to people we know, “I cannot do this without their help.” We have noticed such a difference in the children since coming to KinderCare. We truly appreciate the KinderCare and its staff.

I had my kid here for a little over a year. They were adequate on child care, safety, etc. however, I never really got the feeling the staff (with few exceptions) was trained and committed to making a great child care facility. It also seemed like I was asked to pull my son out due to illness way more that I should have.I give this three stars because of the administrative issues Ive had. Billing issues (even months after I left the facility), constant changes to the policies, and rather annoyingly, you have to fill out paperwork on your kid every day (I.e. Fill in your name, your phone number, your emergency contact, what time they had breakfast, when they woke up, etc.). Its a minor thing but annoying because my current daycare doesnt ask for that because... surprise, they know who I am and keep my phone number on file...

They are vwry friendly and understanding to all situations. They are good at communicating with the parents.

From my experience I would say that nothing on the website was true. Their teachers are totally untrained and unprofessional. The director was not cooperative and often nasty like if she were paying us for the service. The place is not as clean as I had anticipated and above all the price was unjustifiably high. Read the agreement carefully, and make sure you understand all financial penalties as they will never read it with you.

Would not recommend this location child will not be paid attention. Look else where for child care

We had our daughter at a different preschool in the area, and we had doubts that soon became worries. When I got a job in Durham and found out about Kindercare through a friend, I was quick to make the change and try it out. Kindercare was only slightly more to pay but the quality of care was MUCH higher. I can tell that the children get much more attention from the teachers and staff. My daughter has barely been sick at all in the 5 months she has been at Kindercare - she was rarely not sick while attending the previous school. This isnt coincidence. The children are encouraged to respect each other, and the staff are kind but firm with rules. They teach, but very high-achieving children might not get much of a push here. I feel that they do help my daughter to retain what I have taught her on my own. I doubt you could find a better preschool for the price, especially in this area.

My daughter attended this Kindercare location for about 2 years. Over that time Id say numerous chances were given for improvement in their care, safety and education. Theres a high turnover rate in teachers. Teacher termination is not consistently communicated with the parents. The twos room has been without a lead teacher for the lighter side of 6 months. Ive picked my daughter up with her pull up soaked out of her shorts. She suffered three head injuries (total) at this center and NONE of them were communicated to me until after the fact. She bumped her head on the tile floor during nap (12pm) and instead of any one checking to make sure there was no injury, they made her go to SLEEP. She woke up two hours later with a goose egg on her forehead. I wasn notified until pick up at 5:30pm. The last head injury, there was a gash in her forehead. NO ONE could tell me what happened and I was accused as the parent for bringing her in that way by one of the teachers and the director (who wasnt there at drop off). When addressed, the director was rude and stressed that shed never lost a child for safety reasons. As you could imagine, that conversation didnt go so well. After that, teachers stopped speaking to me. I opted to remove my daughter from the center and contacted the Regional manager and corporate. i give this center two stars ONLY because my daughter learned her ABCs and how to count to 10 in Spanish. Thats the only credit I give to them. If youre looking for professionalism, communication, support, improvement and consistency, from a parental standpoint, you may want to try somewhere else. You cant do trial and error on peoples children.
