Our daughter has attended the Goddard School at Durham for about 19 months. And she loves it. This is the most important criterium for us. We do not have any complains about this school. I also want to note that school handled the situation with COVID exceptionally well and it was never closed during this period.

All three of our children (now 12, 9, and 4) attended Goddard and we loved it! I wouldnt suggest any other daycare in the area!

My daughter started at The Goddard School in Durham at 18 months and over the past 2 years she has loved going to school. Most days I have a hard time getting her to leave! Every teacher she has had has been warm, caring, and invested in her progress. She has made great friends with the other kids. We have never had a problem. They often do extra things like party events, pony photo shoots, and special surprises for holidays. The administration and aids at GSD are also so wonderful. They take great care of the children, follow policies, and make you feel a part of a community. I definitely recommend this school.

My daughter has been going to Goddard in Durham part-time for 8 months. She stayed home with me and/or my in-laws until she was 2, so it was a big transition for us. The teachers at Goddard made me and my little girl feel so comfortable. They didnt mind that I kept peeking in on her those first few days. Now, she runs into school and cant wait to play with her friends. Her teachers have all been so caring and loving. They also take time to do special crafts for holidays like Mothers and Fathers Day.Goddard is very secure with a hand print ID security system. Each day that my daughter is at school I am sent details about the activities that she participated in. It includes a picture of her doing one of those activities! I also receive an anecdotal paragraph describing something specific that she did or said that day.The owners of Goddard are always there to answer any of your questions. They are so involved with the children, that it seems they know them all by name! Goddard is a wonderful community and I am so happy that my daughter and I are a part of it!

My two-year-old daughter has been very happy at Goddard. Her teachers are so caring and enthusiastic, and they truly enjoy working with the children. The educational curriculum has been great; our child has learned so much just in the span of a few months at the school. The administrative staff here is also top-notch. They are friendly, responsive, and really care about the well-being of their families. I highly recommend Goddard!

I love the Goddard School! My daughter spent about a year and a half there and we recently moved to Indiana. We miss everyone at the Goddard School... it is a wonderful place. The teachers all care so much about every child and it was a great environment for our daughter to grow and learn. Academically and socially she thrived at the Goddard School. I would recommend the Goddard School to everyone. It is a great feeling when you know that your child is in a safe and loving place when at school. We wished we could have stayed longer!

The Goddard School was a great experience for our son who started when he was 1 and stopped when he turned 2. We would have happily stayed but we moved to another city so it unfortunately wasnt an option. They are kind and caring while also doing a great job teaching basic concepts and communication. We were thrilled when he wasnt yet speaking but could sign his desire for milk or more food.Overall were very happy with the program and would heartily recommend it. Thanks Goddard School!

We have loved our time at Goddard. Our son comes home singing new songs and learning new things all the time. The teachers are kind and caring and really get to know your child on a personal level. When we were in a pinch with a change in our child care needs they went above and beyond to try and help accommodate our family. I would recommend them to anyone.

After having a bad experience at another school, we moved our son to the Goddard School of Durham and have been blown away. I could not have asked for a better place to send our son, the owners, staff and teachers are loving and they truly care about the kids. My son leaves every day with a hug from his teacher and I love seeing his daily reports. He has flourished at the Goddard School and I am confident that he will be ready to start Kindergarten in the Fall. We are sad to leave but extremely happy that we found this school.

The people at Goddard were very welcoming when our three year old started school. We loved the creative curriculum The school was colorful and always clean. Security is good and the playground was nice. But our daughter always came home saying she was bored. After 8 months, we still had not gotten a progress report on how she was advancing/learning. So it was really a mixed experience for us. We feel like it could be a great place. But it was definitely not the right place for us.We have since transitioned to a different school. Our daughter seems to be much more engaged. She comes home talking about all the great things she learned and dos at school now. We are getting much more useful updates and responses from the teachers and administrators.

We have loved our time at Goddard. What a special place. I have never before been more impressed by a school. The teachers are awesome and the staff is very accommodating. They were willing to work with us for my daughter to go part-time. I have always felt that they truly care about my daughter and our whole family. And if it wasnt for The Goddard School, I dont think I could have ever potty trained on my own! My husband and I love how much our daughter is learning and having a blast while doing it. She comes home and always shows us her new yoga move while counting in Spanish. And we love her daily report that tells us exactly what she does each day!

Our almost-5 year-old will graduate this month, having gone there since the building was completed four years ago. We were looking forward to the opening because we live nearby. Goddard turned out to be more than just convenient. We missed dearly every pair of teachers our daughter outgrew as she moved through the rooms, only to find another pair just as good. But, were getting a second turn at them with her brother, who joined Goddard as soon as legally permissible. Its been fun dropping off and picking up both kids together. If there were more grades, wed do it longer.

We love our Goddard family! We have three children enrolled, ages 5-3-1. My oldest child has been enrolled since the age of 4 months and is now about to be a Goddard graduate. Each week we get updates about what the children will be learning about in class and each day we get an individual progress report. They offer on-site soccer lessons (not run by Goddard) and also learn yoga. They have a wonderful summer curriculum highlighting various careers. They also often host after-school mini-science fairs and Spanish nights, and have other various social gatherings such as the annual Goddard birthday celebration (complete with pony rides!). My children are thriving here!

I loved Goddard School. More importantly, my kid loved it too. Everyone is friendly. Everyone knows your childs name. They always had fun activities planed in school and out of school. I loved the curriculum. I loved all the staff members. Daily activity report was very detailed with personalized picture and special moment of the day. We had to leave the school due to move to other area. Otherwise It was the best place for my kid.

We have been happy with Goddard from the first time we visited the school. The owners and administrators have always been extremely responsive to our questions and needs. Our daughter has been very happy during her time at Goddard. She loves her teachers and we know she will miss them. Thank you, Goddard!

Our two boys attend the Goddard School. The oldest started attending at age 2 and the youngest at age 3 months. We really love the family-like atmosphere and that everyone in the school knows our children. Even teachers who leave the school to pursue other opportunities keep in touch, which really shows us how much they care about our kids. We also like the daily electronic reports, which include pictures, the curriculum, and the updates we get twice a year on their social and academic progress. Our oldest is getting ready to graduate and we know he will miss the staff and his friends at Goddard!

Both my son and daughter went to Goddard, but are moving on to French immersion school. Goddard has been a very safe, loving, and high standard school. The directors have excellent communication skills, expect excellence and integrity in their staff, and go the extra mile to create a family friendly environment. My daughter has had a number of the same classmates for over 2 years now and has developed friendships even at the age of 3! They have excellent hours and are open almost all the time except for expected holidays. We had an excellent experience!

The Goddard School has been great! Our grandson started attending there about a year ago. The difference between The Goddard School and his previous pre-school is like night and day. It is amazing to see what a huge variety of knowledge the children are exposed to on a daily basis - and they make learning fun! The teachers are qualified, loving and caring. The staff and owners are very concerned and responsive to the needs of the children, parents and (in my case) grandparents. My grandsons enrollment there has been a satisfying and rewarding experience and I would highly recommend The Goddard School to anyone!

I was reluctant to send my 14 month old to school daily...until our visit to Goddard. EVERYONE is warm and welcoming. Each and every member of the Goddard team is knowledgeable and attentive. The two owners, whose own children tend the school, are on campus each and every day. They are there to greet us in the morning and wave goodbye in the afternoon.The teachers and staff are educated, loving, and kind, the facility is very clean, communication is constant and open and the curriculum is age appropriate and enables continued growth and development. Five stars for sure!

We feel very lucky to have found the Goddard School; the owners and staff are great with our daughters. I really appreciate that they have a defined curriculum, so I know that theyre learning things that will help them when they start school, but also ample free play time, so I know that theyre free to explore based on their interests.In addition to the normal daycare activities, this specific location does a lot of special activities. We recently stopped by on a Saturday to tour a fire truck and get some face painting done. Those types of things really help foster a community and help you get to know the parents of your childs friends, which we really appreciate.

We love the happy atmosphere and the excellent staff. The new smart boards were an exciting way to introduce learning to the class and computer skills for my daughter. She has really loved her teachers and will miss them when she graduates! Thank you for the flexibility with the scheduling and for all of the very happy memories.

From my very first interaction with the Goddard School, they have been very prompt in answering my questions. The owners are very friendly, and they are always available to address any concerns. I have 2 children at the Goddard School, a 4 year old and a 2 year old. They both have grown and learned so much through their experience at this school. My 4 year old will certainly be ready for kindergarten this fall. My 2 year old will be potty-trained soon, especially with the help of his teachers. From the moment my kids walk into the school, they are excited to see the familiar faces of their teachers and classmates. All the teachers (even teachers from the other classrooms) know my kids names. Their teachers know my kids personalities very well. My wife and I have been very pleased with this school, and we would highly recommend it to our friends. Its worth every penny!

The Goddard School in Durham is a fantastic childcare center. Our son has been attending the school for the preschool program and has had an amazing experience. Not only has he made some great friends, but he absolutely adores his teachers in the Bear Class. We are so appreciative of Ms. Ralencia, who has made our child feel loved, safe, and heard while at school. He has been learning so much too. At Goddard, they do a lot of learning through play which is so important at this age, but they also implement a lot of great programs such as “writing without tears.” They also do a lot of other family events like the “Goddard Birthday Party,” and “Family Garden Night,” which are so fun for the kids and parents. Finally, Mehul, the owner is incredible. He is thoughtful and communicative, he works hard to ensure that the children, parents and staff are all take care of. Our boy will be moving on to Kindergarten, but we will sending our daughter to Goddard for preschool too. It’s nice to know we can rest easy about this decision of where to get great childcare.

My now 5 year old attended Goddard when he was 3, and he and I both loved it. We had to move, but later returned to the Goddard School at age 5, and Im so glad I made the switch back. The staff really get to know you and the system of communication is superb. They now have an app that emails you daily updates of all activities, a personal note, and a picture of your kid. My son, a very active and opinionated child, has thrived in the curriculum, which has well-constructed themes and activities that my son remembers well and comes home talking about. There is lots of structure, but also plenty of outlets for creativity. I highly recommend the Goddard School. It is everything I was looking for in a school.

We highly recommend The Goddard School in Durham. We toured many preschools in the Durham area and The Goddard School was the most impressive. Our daughter started in the infant room in March and the experience has been fantastic.

My son attended The Goddard School for his pre-k year and I cannot rave about it enough! The curriculum rivaled what my daughter had in kindergarten in private school, the teachers and staff were amazingly communicative, able to accommodate individual learning styles, and at the same time make my son (and I) feel that they cared & were engaged in his learning! They also balanced fun/extra-curricular activities throughout the year such as soccer, water fun, science activities and more. Had I known about the Goddard School prior, both of my kids would have been there their entire preschool/daycare experiences!Side note - the administration/owners are also amazing, and totally available to answer any questions or concerns we had, as well as deal with the juggling of different family members picking my son up on different days, all within the extremely safe, secure facility. We love the Goddard School!

We moved our son to Goddard after spending years in another 5 star preschool that simply wasnt meeting his needs or our expectations. With kindergarten around the corner, we took a gamble moving him for such a short period, but it was immediately evident that we made the right choice. From the moment I first called TGS, the staff was invested and responsive. One of the owners met with us to tour the school and we felt very secure in our choice to move our son. Our son acclimated quickly and the schools commitment to education is seen every single day. The materials and communications are organized, the teachers are loving, and our son is 100% ready for kindergarten. My only regret is that we didnt find The Goddard School much earlier.

The Durham Goddard School has been a great experience for our little, who started when she was three years old. At every stage, the teachers have been kind-hearted and attentive. Maybe it started strong but it has gone downhill considerably since opening. About half of the staff has left this summer. The playground and classrooms dont seem to have very many toys. Makes you wonder...

Our family can’t even express how much we like the Goddard in Durham. We had such a terrible experience at Primrose and it was a breath of fresh air how much our Son loves this School. Mehul (Owner) is such a great person and has been understanding with my wife and my work schedule and has always accommodated us the best he can. Time has flown by and this is his last year before Kindergarten. You can’t put a price on your Childs safety and happiness. We strongly recommend Goddard to anyone looking for a new preschool.

When we relocated from the Northeast just before our sons Pre-K year, finding the right program was a huge priority for us. We were familiar with the Goddard name but had never visited one. From the moment we met Mehul, we knew Goddard was going to be the right fit for our family. The facility is beautiful. The teachers are enthusiastic and kind. Most days, our son does not want to leave. What else can you ask for. My son has spent the last three years at Goddard and has learned so much! They have a great curriculum and keep parents informed of what is going on each day, week and month. My son has learned sign language, yoga poses, Spanish and some Chinese. Most importantly, he is more than prepared to start kindergarten! The support staff, administration and the teachers really work well together and make us feel like part of their family. The classroom teachers have worked with my sons speech therapist to incorporate his lessons in the classroom. We tried several other nearby childcare centers and Goddard clearly has higher standards. I highly recommend Goddard and give it five out of five stars!

My daughter has been attending The Goddard School of Durham for almost 3.5 years, and we could not be happier with our choice of pre-school. The staff is friendly and helpful in all aspects. The owners Mehuls and Sashin both are awesome and ready to answer and resolve any issues/ problems. The environment is safe and clean. The pre-school and pre-K teachers are wonderful! The academic curriculum is very impressive. My daughter knows her letters, numbers, and she is really enthusiastic about science and history. We will be leaving the school soon because she will be starting kindergarten in August, and I am very pleased to see that she is ready! I highly recommend The Goddard School of Durham.

My son had wonderful time at the school, learning social skills and getting ready for school (Kindergarten) at this early age. We have been very impressed with the activities the teachers plan for the class with the learn through play philosophy. We have seen very positive difference in him and his growth by playing with friends in his class. He has started to learn many new words and his vocabulary is growing really fast.We really want to thank all of your faculty especially Miss Jess, Miss Kay, Miss Laurian and Miss Kelly.
