We moved our kids to North Star from a highly-rated private school in Texas and have found the quality of the school and education to be very similar. In other words, you can get the private school education for your child at NS, without having to pay the private school prices.North Star is one of the best kept secrets in education in Idaho. One of our children just graduated from NS and was admitted to an top-tier national university on the east coast, and also several other prestigious national universities in the west with large scholarships offered. Any parent who seriously values college prep for their child should look into NS.

My daughter has been here since Kindergarten & is now in 4th grade & my son just started Kindergarten. We have really enjoyed this school. The teachers, principal, & staff are great. I have nothing but good things to say about North Star.

I hate this school. Id rather listen to Its everyday bro by Jake Paul for 7 hours instead of going to this prison. This school is so stupid. All the teachers suck. These teachers make a big deal about the smallest things. grow TF up. Im dropping out. Im sorry if this review was a little mean I just wanted to share my RIGHT opinion .

My son was bullied for two years in 3rd and 4th grade and all they would tell me is if they don’t see anything they can’t do anything. His final days at Northstar my son yelled a bad word at the kids pushing him and calling him names in line, the same kids who have picked on him for 2 years. The teachers heard him and sent him to the SRO officer for in school suspension. The other kids were sent to class since the teachers didn’t see or hear them. The SRO officer called me and when I asked how these kids can do this to my son for 2 years and never have any repercussions? He told me he had never heard my son was being bullied. That was my last straw. Nobody there gave a dam to even tell the SRO to keep an eye out. I had him transfer to a Compass Charter and his entire deminour has shot up. He is getting good grades again and loves school again.

For the people burning this school, I have been here since 5th grade, and am currently starting my Junior year in IB, I would like you to know that the teachers dont suck, and the fact that you would say that is attrocious...the only thing that sucks about the school is the people who have bad attitudes about school in general. I believe that the education and the preparation you can receive from this school (because it does take the correct mindset for the student) is far greater than those of most schools in Idaho. The program is thorough and intense, and while we may have limited options, the classes we do have, are taught by outstanding teachers that have experience and can interact with a student on a personal level unmatched by a larger school.

My experience with Northstar had been a good one until I met the oger (amy weber) in the finance department. I dont know who would ever hire someone who looks and talks the way she does .But she is an absolute nightmare and the the whole school gossips about her as if she is a myth that haunts the halls .I kid you not beware of the finance department. This lady is sick in the head and should seek counseling.

I hate this school so much. i went here in 2nd grade thinking that this was gonna be the best place on earth. unfortunately, it wasnt. i got bullied by my OWN TEACHER and “IEP people”. this place still haunts me to this day in 9TH GRADE. these people tortured me so much, i had to go back into behavior therapy cuz my temper got so out of control. north star, if u are reading this, im telling u that u ruined my childhood and caused my emotional problems.

Simple its good and bad lol the teachers dont even teach they just make you write notes ya boy is signin off YAAAAAAA YEEEEEEEEET REEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE

We have two boys new to NSCS. The principal, counselor, special education, and office staff, have gone above and beyond helping them to adjust. The teachers are A+, and beyond what I could have asked for. We are so blessed to be at NSCS.
