Sent my daughter there the last two summers. she had a great time and the staff was attentive to requests that we had made. I would recommend.

Here for a more recent review. Active Minds is by far one of the best facilities I’ve worked at. I worked with the pre-school class, and had SO much fun. They provide a safe and creative atmosphere for all ages, no questions asked. So sad I stepped down, but didn’t want to let them go unnoticed!!

Finding a quality center for your children or in my case, my granddaughter can be quite a challenge. There are so many boxes to check off when chosing a center. For me, a home away from home atmosphere, cleanliness and quality care are all a must. I am so thankful that my sweet granddaughter gets to have a loving experience and that I know she is safe, loved and cared for. Thank you Active Minds for providing such amazing care for her and for having such an amazing staff!

Active Minds is a very inviting environment. The staff and teachers have real love and care for the kids and are always so kind. Thank you for being amazing!!! Also I’m impressed with how clean and organized the center always is!!!

All of my children attended Active Minds (the youngest one still attends). The teachers are great and there are several that have been there since my kids started coming. They are like family to my children. My children have some challenging behaviors and Active Minds has always shown love and patience, even though they they can be more difficult that typical kids. Whenever there has been an issue, Active Minds has been easy to talk to and have worked with us to be consistent at home and at child care. Our kids love attending. Our middle schooler is still sad that he is too old to go.

My son attended this preschool for 6 months. We felt that communication was poor and there was an “us against them” between the parents and teachers. My son had some issues with behavior. Instead of working with us, I got a tattle report everyday. No real suggestions or hints how I could help or what they were doing in class. We were always available for conferences and did our best to support teachers at the school.After an incident that was debatable to its seriousness, my son was asked to leave. I was not told this until the morning I dropped him off on my way to work. Even though the incident happened the previous day, they did not feel it was necessary to inform me until I was on my way to work.It is the unprofessionalism in which situations were handled that is causing me to leave this poor review. All decisions were ultimately made by the owner Darcy who has not once spoken to me or my husband about the situations. If there concern was truly for the children at their daycare, they should have been at the forefront of helping me help my child even if they though their daycare was not a good fit for him. Truly a mark of unprofessionalism. I can only conclude that my child’s welfare was not what they were concerned about. I cannot let this happen to another family and would discourage attending this daycare.To give the review more weight, my child has attended other preschools without these issues. I have consulted my pediatrician and been assured my child’s behavior falls within the norm of his age group.
