I’m so glad I got my 8yr old son in Mastery Martial Arts, my son started in may of 2021 he hasn’t been there long but in a short time he is learning so much. He has so much motivation and loves being there. The people there make him feel like he is part of something and being a mom that makes me feel great . We chose Mastery to host our child’s birthday and the teachers/team at Mastery did an amazing job accommodating us through party planning to hands-on execution. My son started here when he was just 3. Alex is now almost 5. He enjoys the classes and looks forward to them. Like all boys his age, he is very energetic and curious. The classes help him to focus and listen. The sensei and the staff are all very professional and kind. When Alex gets a little too rambunctious he is disciplined compassionately and he listens! The room is constantly cleaned and sanitized before and after each session. Children are spaced out safely. Wonderful place and I plan on enrolling Alex in the future.

I cant speak highly enough about Mastery Martial Arts. The owner/employees of Mastery are Professional, kind, understanding, fun, enthusiastic, and loving. My child has been attending Mastery for 2.5 years and he loves going each and every week. This business deserves much MORE than a 5 star rating.

My 6-year-old son has been going to Mastery EG for 3 months now, and we absolutely love it! Theres so much positive energy from the staff the minute you walk through the door, that no matter what kind of day were having, we always leave feeling happy. The instructors are true professionals. I am always so amazed by their level of enthusiasm, which gets the kids excited and engaged. Mastery teaches young kids all about listening, self control and respect, and since my ADHD son started attending classes, his behavior at home and at school has really improved. Mastery is an outlet for him to exert all his energy in a safe, structured way while building up his self-esteem.

A great place, a wonderful program. It is fun place to learn karate, and it incorporates life skills and leadership as well. The instructors have excellent people skills. Good for all kinds of students.

Great place ! Very family orientated!

We joined in April for our three year old. We absolutely love it here! The environment is perfect for us, the schedule is flexible, the teachers are awesome, and the staff is extremely helpful. I honestly dont have one bad thing to say about Mastery. Its a great class to help your child listen, learn how important respect and communication are, and gain self confidence. Thank you, Mastery!

My child (4) joined mastery EG few months ago and weve had a great experience. The staff is great with the kids and Ive noticed a real difference in my child. Since joining, shes more motivated to make her own decisions and shes getting better at listening and paying attention at home and at school.

We struggled to find a sport or activity in which our 6 and 7 year old sons were both engaged, and felt successful in. We decided to join Mastery because it was an individual sport, and for the discipline and team atmosphere. The support system throughout the entire facility is amazing! Both our boys love Mr. Pezzillo and Miss Chanel! They want to practice at home, and cannot wait to go to karate. My oldest finally feels proud of himself. We cannot get over how much growth they have shown in such a short amount of time. Joining Mastery was the best decision we have made for our children!

Ryan has been taking karate for many years and he loves it. He just got his apprentice blue belt and cant wait to go back each week. Love Masterys Tiny Tigers program. Its perfect for 3 and 4 year olds. My son always has fun in class, and I can see that hes learning more than just martial arts while hes there.

Over the past year I have seen such a positive change in my son, his report cards have come home better, he is more respectful, he has definitely become more of a leader! We loved the change so much that we put his little brother in the tiny tigers program for 3 and 4 year olds, and we are starting to see the same changes. Becoming a part of the Mastery family was the best decision weve made. The self defense skills, positive attitude, and discipline taught by the amazing teachers is top notch. Our son always looks forward to each class. Not only is he learning self sefense, he is also learning respect for himself and others. His confidence is soaring.

Mastery is like my second home. I love everyone there I go to as many classes and events as I can. It’s the perfect combination of self defense, discipline, and real fun.

Mastery EG was the only option I would consider for my son who suffers from anxiety. The entire staff worked with us to gradually get him to the point where he would step on the mat for his first class. They pull out all of the positives for him in such a personal way and he is thriving now, loving each class. Very good for kids and people who want to workout, I wouldnt say its the best if you want to learn hand-strikes and kicks right off that bat you have to get to a camo belt to be able to actually do things you have to be very dedicated to this school, aside from that its great.

AMAZING studio. My Daughter Tenaya has been there for 4 years now. Her time at Mastery Martial Arts has made her attitude more relaxed and her ability to follow rules is alot better as well. Mr. Pezzillo the instructor took time just for her to help her get started and i could not ask for anything more. Cant wait to see how far she goes in the program

I love taking my 5 year old son here for the Little Dragons class every week and it is the only thing I can get my son to do without a fight. Mr. Pezzillo is amazing with all of the little kids in the class and they all respect him. I love how every month the kids learn and practice a life skill while making it fun. The kids also get acknowledged for doing good in school and at home. Which I think is awesome. Mr. Pezzillo and Ms. Ricchiuti make a great team and are so helpful with anything I need or any questions I have. Couldnt be happier with choosing to take my son here and what a difference I see in him from starting in August till now!

My son and I both take karate lessons at Mastery Martial Arts. Our instructor Mr. Michael Pezzillo has such a great rapport with the kids. Hes the perfect blend of tough and nurturing. I like how Masterys focus is not just on teaching kids how to fight. The focus is on becoming better people social, emotionally, mentally AND physically.
