Michael is tremendous. A very stand-up guy with great influence and knowledge. This location is excellent and well worth any time and energy to train in martial arts. Dont forget to ask about their specials because they were well worth it to save money.

This place is excellent for training. Not only is it awesome to learn self-defense, but it is also fun with lots of working out. The sensei and junior master are both excellent and friendly instructors that will push you past your limits. It is also very affordable and clean. Definitely recommend coming here to train!

I was recommended to We train here. My four year old absolutely loves it. He gets a great work out and he loves learning self defense. The instructors are awesome. My son really likes them so, I definitely recommend.

So glad we found this place... My kids absolutely love it. They just started last week 06/2018 and its already starting to make a difference. The instructors are very detailed and extremely patient. Highly recommend this location.6 months in 01/2019 and my kids have advanced to a PURPLE belt and currently working on their 1st degree BROWN. My kids have grown and blossomed as individuals during their tenure at We Train Here. I had tried various dojos and different martial arts classes before deciding to train at We Train Here. I take the 7 pm class for adults. It has been a great experience, even for someone like me, who has never had any experience in karate. The instructors are patient, friendly, and knowledgeable; they really took the time to break down the moves since I had just started. I highly recommend this place.

Karate has been a great addition to my kids’ lives. Before starting classes, my daughter was very timid, always doubting her abilities and strength but since starting at We Train Here, she has come out of her shell. She refuses to give up and has recently received High Honors for her Purple Belt as well as a “Perseverance” patch. My son is a bit of a perfectionist and strives to perfect his techniques and Katas with the help and motivation of Master Angel, O-Sensei Michael, Instructor Edward and Jr. Instructor Edwin.Seeing my children come into their own individuality since joining, has been a great experience to watch. I truly believe in this program and recommend it 100%. It is local and really affordable.

Its very affordable, they are great with the kids, the place is a bit small but at least you can see your little ones being trained up close, the instructors are very patient and kind with the students.

My son has had the best experience at We Train Here. He is being instructed with the highest respect for the art form. The pupils are expected to focus and control their body movements. As a parent, I appreciate the discipline that my son is experiencing. Thank you to Sensei and Jr Master for having the patience and attitude to get my son to perform in ways I have never seen him perform.

Excellent location with Super Awesome Staff. This is the place to join when it comes to learning Karate in East LA/Monterey Park. I signed up my son for lessons and what ends up happening, i joined too. Perfect for all levels.

Ive been attending the Cardio Combat class and its been great so far! Im a beginner and they are great at modifying their classes so it fits all the participants levels. I love the mixture of cardio and combat skills. Edward and Michael are very knowledgeable and patient. Thanks guys!

This place is awesome for training. I have been working with them for years. The instructor are great with kids. Personal training is fun and geared to practical motions and strikes. Come in and be ready to train hard!

I found the staff to be friendly and knowledgeable about martial arts. My grand daughter is a student. I attend classes with her which is no problem. They have a tv in the lounge or I can sit and observe. Really clean and easily accessible

I took my 10 year old and 8 year old to We Train Here and the master and assistant were very attentive. I highly recommend it to teach your children martial arts.

I have young grandkids that have been bugging me to bring them to a karate class. I found this place one day while I was headed in to do my taxes. What a gym. The instructors are friendly, trained and so good with the kids and while class is going on they engage you in conversation and even let you watch TV. The kids have a great time and The parents are never ignored. I cant belive you get all this for only 30 dollars a month. Even the uniforms are cheap. You have to kinda look for the place because its on the second floor in the center but they are community and quality focused and definitely worth it. My grand kids are learning so much and are so much more respectful

A great environment to begin your classes in martial arts. Very professional trainers with a lot of patience for biginers like my self.

Professional and clean location. Easily accesible with ample parking space. I used to practice karate before and giving this place a try has helped me go back to those roots. Highly recommend!

I have 3 young girls and ive been looking for a good activity to put them in to build up their conference and make sure they can defend themselves. This class has been a God send they look forward to going every day putting on their uniforms and belts. And if your a mom like me and dont know anything about karate the teachers will take all the time in the world with you i must ask sensei Michael 1000 questions a class and he always spends that time with me to make feel like I know whats going on. And lady tgey also have a great abult program that includes karate and Zumba but be warned it is a work out come ready to swear. I love this place I love these guys.

This gym is totally legit. Wieghts, punching bag, black belts and kung fu. I definitely am getting a membership here and the staff are hella cool. I brought my nephew and now he wont stop bugging me about returning.One of the best gyms in Los Angeles.

I took my 3 kids here to train with sebsei and jr master. My boys all play football and tgey wanted to try karate. They cant get enough of it. These guys are the real deal patiant detailed and they have your kids best intrests at heart. And to top it off they are so affordable only 30 bucks a month for both my kids. A true asset to the community im so glad i found this place everyone should check it out.
