My daughter went here for 5th grade. She was chosen out of her school by her tests scores to attend this special classroom. This class is a hand picked class of the high academic test scores, at theend of 3rd grade, I believe iswhat they told me. Mrs. Bierdeman teaches that class. She has for many years. This class is pushed to their high potential. She makes them reach for the Stars. She exposes them to things that they would not be able to do in regular class rooms. They went to the space center in Bloomington, I believe. The made rockets and set them off on the back play ground. They learned beginning Triginonomy. My daughter WANTED to go to school. She hated to miss even when she got sick.The school is a nice 1story school. The teachers are friendly as much as I saw them. I mainly was only there one year for 5th grade.Mrs. Bierdeman is TOPS for that class. The only Advanced class in District 86. She has a pretty great responsibility a does a awesome job teaching our children.
