My nostalgic side is going to win P&D a 5 star rating. The 20936 Kelly Road location was built in the early 70s. It was built and owned by a beautiful Greek Detroit family. I remember eating dinner in their home as a child. This location was to house one of the early Stretch & Sew Fabric franchise stores in North America. My mother was the owner. If you want proof, there is an in-floor safe located in the rear office. It was molded right into the concrete slab when the building was first built. I spent many days of my youth in the employee break area, working as a child model, modelling polyester fashions for many of Detroits women sewers. There were 3 large classrooms adjacent to the textile and pattern retail floor. I have 8mm footage of my mother teaching classes there. I often look back upon this location, remembering what an impact it had on my life. It will forever be apart of me.

The website said they close at 6:00pm. The door said 5:00. I got there at 4:53. And they were closed.

I would rate a ZERO! How come you can pay your hard earned money on some uniforms, find out they dont fit, tried to take them back in the same shape I purchased them in with tags in all on them only to be turned down because I dont have a receipt. But I guess that only works for certain costumers they approve off...because the lady in front of me didnt have a receipt as well but her uniform had a issues with a broken button and she got a refund. How is that??? Rules is Rules!!! I will never return the dumbest made up policy ever!!!!!

Its 4:50p on a Wednesday, they dont close until 6p! Why is there a man standing at the door telling me theyre closed!! This is why I take my business across 8 mile sometimes. This dont make no sense at all!! All for 1 shirt! Who owns this place?!?!

A week ago I brought my daughter two pairs of pants and she could only fit one pair I lost my receipt and they wouldn’t even exchange them. I very disappointed because I don’t have money to waste. I been coming here for years and I guess this the last year

Been getting uniforms here since I was in elementary school when they were on Harper by Morang. Always helpful and has always kept the establishment clean. Thanks P&D!!

Wow, I wish I would of looked at the reviews. Before I bought the items I bought.. Because on website it says refund within 30 days. Because thats the law..but the BBB. Will do there job. Forman Mills has the same stuff around the same price.. Refunds within 30 days...p&d is just a rinky dink store that dont go by the law.. They will soon.

Scrub selection is AWFUL. No colors. Didnt have any petite sizes, barely any brands or plus sizes. The staff was rude, the owner lady didnt want to give me the time of day to listen to me. Dont waste your time with this place, I wont again.

Place is well organized clean very helpful workers fitting rooms this deseves beyond 5 stars very good costumer service and resonbile prices

Business says there are open online but went to the store Sunday and they dont open until 1pm ... Never answers the phone

Please take your money elsewhere.Poor customer service... The lady at the cash register with the jhericurl is a hotmess and rude.If I could give her 0 stars for a rating, I would. Sometimes you cant patronize African American stores without the Ghetto professional or tactics. I will never come to this store ever again especially driving 45 mins to get there.Again, spend your money with establishments who appreciates your money.
