Completely unsatisfied and dont regret leaving the school for another that thoroughly ensures that students have mastered their skills before being promoted. Some parents may prefer to see their children promoted regardless of readiness. If so, this school may work for you. We prefer that our son is eligible for testing and receives promotions only when ready.

My son has been going for over 5 years and he loves it! Master Des Jardin is a great instructor and gives the kids the encouragement and confidence they need to succeed! Highly recommend Eatontown Martial Arts.

Been going there with me and my daughter for the last 3 years, they are like family and I would highly recommend this school.

The owner(s) of this business should be the children he has run his classes. Had to pull my daughter out due to inconsistancy. If class is Tues and Thurs at 615, we shouldnt be getting a TEXT at 530 telling us class is cancelled for personal reasons, car trouble, sick kid, back spasms...I understand things happen sometimes, ppl get sick.. this is a bit much. My daughter missed 3 weeks of class, (3 classes he cancelled, 2 my child was sick and a week closed for spring break) i needed to put the membership on hold. He informed me I signed a contract stating 30 days notice...charged the next month she wouldnt be attending, plus got a free month from me prior. Seems more concerned with paying his bills than the children. I would never return or recommend this business. Will be starting a new, more consistant Martial Art school soon.

Mr. Des Jardin is top notch! He is truly dedicated to the pursuit of excellence in each and every student. Highly recommend.

WLBMA is owned and operated by one of the best martial arts instructors around. I am a mom of 7 children whom I homeschooled. I am very particular with what goes in my children and around my children. Mr. Des Jardins program consists of impeccable instruction and curriculum. So much so that he caught my attention and I too began to train in self defense. Dont waste your time going anywhere else. He also belongs to an organization, Taekwondo United, that is chalked full of exceptional people and constant opportunities to grow.

I have know Mr Des Jardin and West Lnng Branch Martial Arts for about 3 years now. He is one of the first Nationally affiliated Martial Artists I met when I began studying Martial Arts. I have been instructed in Taekwondo, Muay thai, and Eskrima by Mr Des Jardin. I am not even his student and he helps me every chance he can. Any Student of any age would be well served as his student.
