The ballet teacher Ms. Yuki is wonderful for my 3 yr old and 5 yr old daughters. She really is the only reason we continue to send our daughters to Edgewater Performing Arts. The staff do not return phone calls or emails which I find extremely unprofessional. They are very quick and efficient when collecting tuition payments and other money, but cannot communicate for anything else. We have been sending our daughters for over 2 years but it is just because we like the dance studio and the teacher.

My daughter has been at this school since she was 3, she is 5 now, she looks forward to going to ballet class and has made great friendships, also, The teachers in this school are very dedicated, it is worth each penny to spend.

My daughter took the small group ballet from 2019. The teacher is very professional and patient. The staffs are nice and helpful. Highly recommend.

I first came across the dance studio at the Arts Festival taking place in Veterans Field Park. The staff was very kind and answered all my questions. I signed my daughter up for a trial class just a few days later. The studio was conveniently just a short 5 min drive from our home and her school so that was already a positive in my book. Upon entering I was surprised how large the actual facility was. We were welcomed immediately and were told where we could change, shown the viewing area, and even grab a snack or refreshment. The place is very well lit and clean. It did not have that dance studio odor that I was expecting. The bathroom was very clean as well. My daughter made a few friends while we waited for her class to begin. As soon as her class began I posted up in the viewing area with my one year old and watched her on the screen. I wasnt able to hear what was going on inside but from what I saw the instructor looked very kind and inviting. All in all, seconds after my daughter came out of the room I simply asked her if she had fun. I loved it daddy was all I needed to hear in order to sign up. I highly recommend this place, especially for beginners or no prior ballet experience. Were both looking forward to her next class.

My daughter has been coming here since the beginning of summer 2019 and we absolutely love it. She loves the teacher, the environment. The staff are really nice and helpful. They also sell merchandise like ballet shoes,tights, outfits at a very reasonable price. Very happy that my daughter loves coming here. Highly recommended.

My daughter adores this studio and loves her time there, from weekly classes to summer camp and everything in between! Her love of ballet increased ten-fold as soon as she began taking classes last September, and it was wonderful to see the immediate improvement in technique and flexibility.EPA creates a lovely experience for students and parents -- a gorgeous, spacious facility combined with warm, knowledgable teachers and staff. The teachers are highly skilled in technique as well as ability to control the room during group classes. We appreciate the attention the studio has given to balancing everything that goes into helping children grow through dance.We are are excited to continue at EPA for a second year!

My daughter had been going the ballet classes for many years at well known dance school but I felt she could do more than what she did. While we tried out a few ballet studios, we found this place. All of teachers conduct themselves professionally, are passionate and inspiring, and care about their students . They go above and beyond to encourage their students. My daughter has made tremendous progress for past few months. I would absolutely recommend this place for someone who wants to take their ballet performance to next level.

My daughter takes a ballet class here and she loves it. Her instructor is so kind and nice to her students . All students learn with happiness. The facilities are so neat and clean and parents can observe what they learn inside/outside classroom. I love it!!!

My daughter looks forward every week to go to ballet class. The teacher is sweet and very patient with the children and all the children seem to enjoy it. The arts center is spacious and very clean.They offer more than just ballet they have music classes and so much more. Would def recommend this place.

I am very happy with Edgewater performing arts because it has super supporting stuff members. Support stuffs can make ones experience good or bad. I only have positive things to say. Besides the stuff members, my daughter is taking both piano and ballet, both teachers are great.We travel one hour just to have better experience and good teachers. I am very happy with the center and it’s teaching.

I highly recommend this studio for adult students! They have great teachers, dancehall and staff.I am an adult student of morning ballet classes since last September.I got corrections during the class from my teachers and they make me use proper muscles.I could see my body shape improve little by little!It’s really good for adults who want to have better posture.

Amazing ballet school. We drive three times a week from Jersey City so that my daughter can have access to the best ballet! The teacher are impeccable, their resumes impressive and at the same time thoughtful and caring with the kids.

We’ve been going to the studio since day one and we couldn’t be happier with the decision we made.All the instructors are super friendly and good with children. They are very approachable and my daughter who just turned 7 loves the ballet lesson every week! The instructors are professional and well trained, too.The studio is clean and very much equipped. There are plenty of parking spaces and also easy access to public transportation.I would recommend Edgewater Performing Arts to any age group especially small children.

I’ve been taking adult ballet lessons at EPA for a year now and I love it.Ballet is an excellent workout for toning and flexibility. I wanted long lean muscles and feminine shape. Ballet has helped me with balance, flexibility, core strength and overall physical confidence. The owner instructor Ms. Sarah is great. She’s precise, patient, and makes classes fun every time.My two daughters whose 9 and 4 also take ballet classes here. Their teachers Ms. Lee and Ms. Yuka are the best. They are well qualified, gentle with the girls, and great dancers! I’ve taken classes with almost every ballet teachers here and all of them are great.The facility is clean and beautiful. It’s located at Mitsuwa mall so parking is not an issue.If you are looking for a school to learn classic ballet, look no further.They also have other dance classes like hip hop and musical theater and art and music classes too. I only heard good things about those classes from other moms.I’m so happy we have EPA at Edgewater! Thanks EPA!!

This review is for child ballet class, Saturday session 9:15am - 10am for age 4 - 5. My experience here is terrible! My daughter is 3 and half years old and at our first trial class we disclosed the age. The teacher says shes ready and can be in the class. After a month, today out of no where told me my child cant stay in the class and not even for todays class, and asked she to move to age 3 - 4 class in the afternoon which the schedule doesnt work for us. Also, on day one the receptionist told us age 3 - 4 class have many children much younger than 3 so they dont learn anything. I told the receptionist and teacher it is wasting parents time if they dont tell us that in advance. I insist that she at least stay for todays session since we already here. Although my child is not top in the class shes following instructions and bother no body. I see other kids not nearly able to follow instructions are allowed to stay in the class. Also the teacher is really cold and lack of warmth and energy to influence the kids. She kicks kids out of class a lot without trying to talk to the kid first. In my opinion, she cant teach. They expect kids to be perfect robots to follow directions perfectly. Its not for my kid. Since my kid cant stay in that class, I demanded refund. The school refuse to provide full fund so before you sign up for the class here think twice.

The staffs are very friendly. They have a nice, quiet and comfortable environment. We registered the violin class and probably will enroll in the ballet class as well.

The facilities here are very good, and the teachers and staff are very competent and kind. My daughter learns Ballet here and loves it so much.
