We love that our son goes to kindercare in Edgewood KY. They have very professional and loving staff that are great with our son. They communicate well his needs to us and are caring for him as if he were their own. We love Kindercare

My children have been attending the center since 2018. We were previously attending at another company that we were not impressed with, so we decided to take a leap of faith and enroll our children at Edgewood. Our children have benefited so much during their time here at Edgewood. They have learned so much and love their teachers! The staff is so warm and welcoming. We always feel like we’re part of a huge family. I’m proud to say that my children attend KinderCare in Edgewood!

My two year old was injured in care. They denied that it happened. I asked that they review the tape and was informed that the cameras do not record. The cameras use to record and parents were never informed of this change. We’ve also had issues with management following state ratios and consistently receiving incident reports when my children were injured.There was no resolution or action based on my complaint. I only received an acknowledgment of my concern.

Melissa and Marie are wonderful at Rainbow in Edgewood. I had my son at another Rainbow and switched because Edgewood was so much closer. I can honestly say I have been impressed with all directors and educators at multiple Rainbow locations. My son is almost 3 and he loves his teachers and his friends. My son has blossomed since attending Edgewood Rainbow in Jan. 2017. I would recommend to friends and family.

My daughter attends this center and I love it! She loves her teachers in the infant room (Ms. Ginger and Ms. Patti), and the Director and Assistant Director are AMAZING!! I know that my daughter is in great hands while my husband and I are working. Im looking forward to watching her learn and progress throughout her time in the center. I think the curriculum will help her learn no matter what type of learner she becomes since it uses all 5 senses to teach the lessons. I would recommend this location to anyone who is looking for peace of mind and a home away from home while they are working.

Wonderful staff, curriculum and directors in place! The smiles on the childrens faces day in and day out show how much they enjoy themselves, learn and grow while in the care and comfort of the staff and directors. I would recommend this location to family, friends and anyone looking for quality care!

I absolutely LOVE this center. After having some difficulties at other local child care options, we came to Rainbow in Edgewood. The director team was so welcoming and did not make me feel like I was a nuisance with all of my questions. Our first day we were met with smiles and a very warm welcome! The constant parent/teacher communication has really helped me feel at ease. I also LOVE the curriculum based programming--she has already learned so much! I would give them 10 STARS if i could, our family is very happy here.

Rainbow Child Care is an awful, corrupt company. I worked there for 10 months before I got fired unfairly. The directors hide and withhold information from their employees, especially tampering with hours we clocked in and out for. There were incident reports that we were told to “throw away” because the mark/bite was not visible. Employees were treated without respect, as the current directors would go into the back office and whisper about other employees. Employees would buzz up front to use the facilities, and had to wait upwards of 20 minutes before anybody came to our aid. They were extremely disrespectful to myself and a former employee, which happened to be my best friend outside of work. We were both talked down to multiple times, and we felt that was extremely unprofessional. I loved my job, the children, and my coworkers, but the directors there are horrible, corrupt, and NOT to be trusted. Please do NOT send your child/children there.

I cannot recommend this Rainbow location because of the ladies in charge. Melissa the director and her sidekick Marie Linstead are not fit for the jobs they are in. They do not have the proper early childhood education folks in their roles should have and they completely lack any compassion for most of the children attending as well as their parents. Go to another Rainbow location or better yet the Goddard school.Also, directors or assistant directors should not be posting reviews promoting their school, its unethical.

As any parent can tell you, deciding on a child care center is serious business and I did my homework! I visited a TON of alternatives in the area and have been more than pleased with the care that my son has received at Rainbow! The Center is always clean, bright and cheerful. The food options are healthier than most places which helps me as a working mom because I sometimes miss the mark on nutritious food choices; no worries, Rainbow has me covered and I dont have to worry as much!My son looks forward to going to school and talks about his teachers on the weekends. He is now a young preschooler and I cannot believe how much he has learned since we joined the Rainbow family! He has also increased his confidence and independence.The staff is very accommodating with schedules and any special requests. His current teacher Miss Marnessa is always available and extremely responsive. Director, Cathy and Assistant Director, Marie have always been willing to answer my questions and address any concerns (which are very few) as well as provide top-notch customer care! We will also be forever grateful to Miss Susie who patiently held our hands and hearts as mommy, daddy and son adjusted to a new place over a year ago. Looking forward to seeing all the exciting things to come with Rainbow as our little guy grows. And when our next bundle of joy arrives this summer, we will of course be happy to share him with our Rainbow family, too.

This place was absolutely terrible. My child did not get the care that was deserved. Waste of time and money. I do not recommend.

Loved the staff! Enjoyed seeing the growth and knowledge my children took away from there!
