Cheryl and the staff at Learning to Grow Academy are so caring. They are very supportive and loving and listen to what we want for our baby. As first time parents its reassuring to know our babe is well cared for when we send her to daycare and we consider ourselves lucky to have found this place!

Our family received exceptional care in both the infant and toddler programs at Learning to Grow. Cheryl and staff are attentive, professional, fun, and really got to know our son and encourage his relationships, language, and development. As new parents, we really appreciated the support and community that Cheryl creates. Highly recommended.

We were visiting Minneapolis for one semester and had our daughter at Cheryld daycare. We were really happy about this decision! All the stuff super-nice and caring, but also extremely understanding with regard to some of our special situation as foreigners in the US. Our daughter had no problems with English and loved going to daycare!

This post is in regards to the learning to grow Minneapolis program that was infant only. They closed unexpectedly and only gave us 2 weeks notice! Thats a lot of infants in need of immediate care which if you are searching you know an infant spot is tough to come by and certainly not something you find in a teo week time frame. They closed for staffing/administration reasons. I would be very wary of Learning to grow at any location especially if Cheryl B. is the administrator. Its all good until they close their doors unexpectedly - consider yourself warned!

Such a wonderful staff and a clean, welcoming environment! They take great care of our baby and share updates throughout the day, which helps me feel connected, and they truly value each baby and help them grow individually, and do fun crafts and developmental activities.

We started at the Minneapolis center back in January of 2017 when our son was 12 weeks old, and were there until just this last Wednesday after two years. We were (for the most part) happy with Cheryl and the center, and were proud to have found LTG. However that all changed this fall. First, her buildings are not secure as they are part of a church. A few weeks ago an employee let a strange man into the area to charge his phone after a car accident. My husband saw the man go in the infant room and speak with a teacher, then have his phone in the common area kitchen. When confronted, Cheryl did nothing but defend her employee with some BS excuse that with the center being in a church they must welcome all. My husband and I were very upset that a stranger was welcome into the center with almost twenty children present.A few weeks later, she sent an abrupt notice via the app letting all parents know she was closing the center and they had to find care elsewhere. She didnt give a reason why, just send it was unfortunate and her email. I sent her an email and she responded that it was staffing issues and quality of care. While this makes sense, the way she went about it and the two weeks she gave the 20 families (most infants) was horrible. She now goes on both of the pages she has created and tries to publicy announce the closing and that she offered to stay open past the closing date of 10/31 for those who could not find care but was, happy to hear that each of our families secured childcare, starting before or right after our last day. - This is a boldface lie as we were never offered care (or transfer to her Edina location for our toddler) and we do not have care until the 12th. We have to use our vacation days now to cover for this short-notice and we are not the only family. When I posted this as a review on her Minneapolis page, Cheryl came back that we did not contact her which is another lie. The fact that Cheryl straight up lied to all on social media about offering to keep care open and the follow-up is insulting to the families who trusted her for as long as we did.I cannot go on to recommend this center or any offered by Cheryl at this time as I cant promise them she wont do the same to them.
