The instructor was incredibly kind and able to break down the basic in simple to understand analogies as well as throwing comedic relief to ease the stress of new riders! She is very passionate about the training and wants all new riders to hit the open road prepared... if she is giving you a hard time its because she genuinely cares

I took all 3 beginner classes, at the end of the second class I was looking forward to the 3rd class. At the end of the 3rd class I feel confident enough to look for a motorcycle to begin the next phase. Im looking forward to getting my permit and continuing my journey. I would recommend this class to anyone who wants to ride a motorcycle and wants to try it on first.

This course is exactly what I was looking for to train my son and wife to ride a motorcycle. This is tailored to new personal who wish to enter the motorcycle realm with little to no experience! This is not a safety course where you can waive DMV driving test but designed to teach fundamentals to build upon your experience and prepare you for the safety course! They limit the class to 4 students at a time and I think that greatly improves teacher to student academics! I was greatly pleased to see them both riding and turning in such a short time. I am very pleased with my investment and strongly urge you not to cut corners in your training to being a rider! There are 3 courses. (B1-B2-B3) each level fundamentally important to your training that you can complete in a single weekend (Sat & Sun). I advice you to check weather for the weekend before you book even though our weather generally in sunny! There is a cancellation and reschedule policy posted on there site. Motorcycle are well taken care of and the course big enough for effective training.

I just took all three classes and it was exactly what I was looking for. I was a total beginner without any experience on a motorcycle and now I know how to lean, shift, brake, and feel like I can make informed decisions about riding. Anne was an amazing instructor. Shes knowledgeable and patient. Since the class size is small (only four people max), we got lots of time on the bike and Anne was able to address any issues we were having individually. I felt safe the whole time and any nervousness was quickly dispelled by the relaxed and fun environment. I regret not signing up sooner. One suggestion I have for incoming students is if its hot, wear a tank top underneath a button up and just take your button up off during the breaks. Thats what I did and it made the heat more bearable. The only thing Id change is that there were more classes! Thanks San Diego Motorcycle Training! Cant say enough good things!

Highly recommend! I can tell Annie truly cares about the safety and well-being of each of her students. She knows her stuff and goes above and beyond to make sure you understand every bit of information that comes your way. On top of all that, I had SO much fun! I’m very glad I took the course and I would recommend it to anyone who is interested in getting started (or anyone who needs a little brushing-up) on their riding skills.

I was so impressed by the B1 class, that I took all three! Annie is a terrific teacher who clearly enjoys bringing the gift of riding to newcomers and does a great deal to encourage and help riders relax. I constantly do the funky chicken whenever I catch myself taking things too seriously. If you are thinking about what it means to ride and want to see what it feels like, I cant recommend this enough. You wont regret it. Ride safe everyone!

I cannot say enough positive things about this course and Anne as a teacher! I went from never having operated a motorcycle to being able to ride with control - turning, up-shifting, down-shifting, etc. I would highly recommend her to beginners looking to learn how to ride or improve their technique. EXCELLENT!

I loved taking this course. I took all three B courses. The pace was perfect for me, having never even turned a motorcycle on. Anne has a teaching style that is relaxed, and the class size is limited to three or so riders. This eliminates any added stress or pressure from a course that has 20 riders eager to zip around. This small size course not only eliminates that pressure, but feels more personal and hands on coaching. More like a mentor. There is no cold and fast rush to get all kinds of people through some exercise.Anne was a great instructor and her emphasis is on safety and control not the endorsement. This course does NOT offer the M1 endorsement, so you will need to take the other school for that endorsement.Which I did, and I tell you this, I was super excited and prepared for the other school having passed Annes course. I flew through the fast paced test & exercises at the bigger class with ease BECAUSE of Annes coaching in B1 - B3. I would not have been so relaxed and confident if I did not take the classes with Anne here first. Dont get me wrong, I also enjoyed the endorsement class, it helped at the dmv for sure. But taking Annes B courses here at SDMT, was an excellent introduction that set me up for success in other tests and riding in general.Take this course. You will be set up for success in future riding.Thank you Anne!!! - Keanu :)

I had a bad experience with a guy at Pacific Safety Center, the guy has zero patience and was yelling at me the whole time, discouraging me any way possible saying motor biking is not for everybody. Hopefully this would be a good alternative for me to learn as a beginner. Adios Travis from Pacific Safety, you have not won trying to diminish my lifelong dream as a biker.

Great experience! Highly recommended! They focus on creating safe motorcyclists instead of a license mill like some other schools!

Theyre exceptional teachers!! Very friendly, patient, and informative to the sport. Yee-Ha! The knowledge i gained throughout the course will be invaluable to my new found love of this sport! I am biased, I am one of the Instructors, but consider this,Regardless of when you get your license you can reduce the risks of you first street rides and practice street riding on our motorcycles. It gets better this course requires only a permit to practice on the street.
