This was the worst school I had ever attended in my long educated life! I attended from 1992-1994. And this is coming from a person who went to school in the projects in New York. I had one or two teachers who where well equipped to deal with children/young adults. Most teachers where worn out and just collecting a check.Bullying was the absolute worst and incredibly rampant. Complaining to the staff was useless. Some teachers physically abused kids and that also would go without being checked. Many teachers would constantly call off and the teaching of courses was impossible to follow. Despite graduating from UC Berkeley and San Diego State University with honors and with a bachelors degree and masters I can truly say I didn’t learn a single useful thing from this junior high. It was a complete waste of time. I can only hope that they shaped up and can educate to at least the states minimum standard. I avoid even driving by this place when I’m in town! Good luck to the kids who attend. I hope they at least are more aware of bullying.

I was a student here years ago. I wish I could give it 5 stars for some of the amazing teachers I had, but a few terrible experiences ruined it for me.I was frequently bullied at this school but the worst bully was a particular assistant principal. She would jump through insane hoops in order to punish me, and only me. Things such as, taking double printed documents that I had signed and illegally editing one of the copies to make my punishment worse than what was agreed upon. Pulling me from the state wide track competition when I am literally boarding the bus because she knows she has no solid ground to do so but it is so last minute that I cannot fight it in time to go. Its pathetic when a supposedly grown woman acts like this to punish an 8 year old child and I wanted my review to reflect that.

This school is very horrible. Do not send your kids here, food is terrible. People get in trouble for no reason and students are harassed by other staff members. Teachers and staff are grumpy and dont care. Educational level is on a low standardization as is everything else. Principle here is horrible and has a bad personality. You write something and itll end up in the office as if they havent seen anything like it. It just makes you cringe and make you want to say really!? to it. Freaking unbelievable! Everything here is considered bad, including a drawing of spongebob on a piece of paper and itll end up giving you a year long suspension!

I love the school because the teachers the principal and a lot of my friends were nice

This school is bad, just bad, the teachers do not care if someone is bullied, I have spoken to a teacher about a student being bullied. What happen? Nothing, the student was harrased still, the boys in this school are weird, making weird noises that sound INNAPROPRIATE! The females here are rude, too, they act like soldiers in an intense war, everyone in this school is rude, evil, and weird, DONT EVER SEND YOUR KIDS TO THIS SCHOOL, EVER!
