Very disappointed in this place. They are not solution oriented. They would rather remove a child after saying they treat the children as they would their own until the child becomes too much for them and they are over crowded. They call themselves professionals but all they care about is numbers and what is easiest for them. I cant believe I trusted them with my 2 yr old.

My son and daughter have been attending here since they were babies but now their in elementary school. The price is reasonable. This is a place for kids to grow and develop their own personalities with their friends and with great staff to teach them.My son attended kindergarten school here. I didnt want to go no where else because the environment was great and the staff was really great with the kid. This is not just a daycare where the kids sit there, the kids are being taught everything from a babies age up to 6yrs old .I was so sad to see my kids leave because this is where all the magic happened learning and growing in this little community with the children.this is a great place for kids to be at.Dr.Roseanne is awesome with the kids she pays attention to the children. My daughter had problems with learning at the daycare center I didnt know that and Dr.Roseanne was able to pull me aside and let me what steps I needed to take for my daughter.I recommend this place to everyone perfect start for the little ones. 💙 ❤

This place is great for infant childcare, they are much more reasonably priced than the corporate child cares and they do a much better job. We moved before experiencing their toddler care but the children of other classes always seemed to be organized or having fun.

My son is 4 years old and has been receiving child care at Oaktree Academy for roughly 1 year. Armani has made many friends at Oaktree Academy, and I originally felt really safe with the care provided by the school. Oaktree Academy participates in subsidized childcare, which is a service provided by the County of San Diego to assist low income families with payment for childcare and food services. In order for the childcare providers to receive payment for services, a monthly tracking form is required to be filed out by the parents and submitted by the childcare providers. In the month of November, I was late submitting the document, and agreed to submit the document the following day. Upon picking my son up on December 1, 2017, I filled out the form as I agreed. Unfortunately I mistakenly used a sheet that was intended for another student. I was unaware of this until December 4, 2017. After receiving the new from my sons teacher, we were able to find the sheet. The teacher asked that I sign the document in the signature area, and agreed to copy the information from the sheet that I filled out in error. Today when I came in to pick my son up, there was a message asking that I come in to the office. I asked the teacher in the classroom at that time if the message was urgent, or if she knew what the message was referencing, and was told by the teacher that she did not know the nature of the request. I was unable to go to the go to the office at the time, because of a family emergency that required my immediate attention. Shortly after leaving the school, I received a phone call from Roseann Rinear, the owner of the child care center. Without as much as a hello, she then became verbally abusive and disrespectful. Dr. Rinear was so irate during the phone call that she disconnected the call in my face. I called her back immediately because I was sure that the call had dropped. Dr. Rinear stated that it was not a mistake and told me in a very rude manner that “I could just take my son somewhere else”! Needless to say I was in shock. Not only was I threatened by Dr. Rinear, but I was also disturbed that she had access to children! Although Dr. Rinear did not make a direct racial statement, the tone in which she spoke about myself and my child had racist connotations. To add insult to injury, I was not provided with a formal notification of termination of services. Dr. Rinear displayed discrimination because I receive county services, and spoke to me in a manner that was very disrespectful. I plan to escalate this matter as I will lose time from work resolving this issue. Funds paid to organizations to assist with Social Services should be required to conduct themselves in an ethical manner. No parent receiving county services should be treated in a disrespectful manner based upon receiving assistance. I am very disturbed that this child care is in partnership with social services. Dr. Rinear should be held responsible for unethical behavior, discrimination, and intimidation.
