Being a single dad of a 15 year old daughter who just moved home from TX, I needed help. Grossmont HS was highly recommended so I pulled up the District Office reviews. I saw a 5 star review of the receptionist Monica, defining her professionalism and welcoming presence. Shouldve been a 10. Monica, Pamela, Karin and Teresa (next door at the high school), top notch. They truly care about the kids AND the family. I needed help and I found it.

Great school! Some teachers may be rude as well as some of the staff at the office, but most of the teachers are just outstanding and wonderful! Im in my fourth year at GHS and its great! My teachers have always been nice and caring towards the students as well as my counselor. Best school!❤️

Horrible staff no body is ever in the office even though school is starting in less than two weeks they take so many days off just to avoid parents it’s hilarious nobody is helpful nor does anything to help these are the same people beck wrong that they want to get paid more but can’t even do their job in my opinion they should be paid less another thing is they have no regard for anything what they say goes which is ironic because they are the people forcing parents to enroll their kids into their horrible public school system (parents if you actually care about your children enroll them into a charter school trust me it’s a way better choice for one example they have more enrollment in college than public schools and you choose your kids education it’s also free )

Disgusting school district forces it’s students to go back to school in the middle of delta I’m honestly not surprised that teachers are leaving half of the staff doesn’t even show up for work if they really cared they would make online school and option if not mandatory just a bunch of greedy superintendents that wants kids to attend for extra cash

The worst district ever. They are trying to prevent other people from getting education. They are filling lawsuit against charter schools like mine, adult schools and private education. I dropped out from my old highschool because of their way of teaching and theyre using hard resource to force student into hard unnecessary work. Stats speak for itself. Graduation rate in these schools are below average and the other schools that are not in this district are way more than the national average.

My experience at grossmont high school was great ! the teachers there were very supportive and never gave up on me , I also loved the child care there I consider them my family :)

There isnt a main number for anyone to be reach . what if Its an emergency!!!! I have to leave a dang message for every number this school offers.Im calling the district something should be done about this. The secretaries arent that busy!! They can answer the phones!!!!!! So posses right now!!!!
