I have been pretty please with Saint John during the pandemic. It was a great relief to be apart of a school that made the transition to distant learning so much easier. After hearing the stories of children being in class for 2 hours a day, I realized how fortunate my son was to be enrolled in this program. As with any new process there were challenges with the change, but they were all corrected in a timely matter. The staff was very supportive, and in the end my 8th grader had a chance to attend an outdoor graduation before going off to high school. We have been apart of the St John Family for 2 years, and I can that I made the right decision to enroll my children there.

This is the worst school that my son went .The school director’s doesn’t answer any concerns when you have it. I had problem with one teacher ,she is so rude and disrespectful . I don’t recommend this school for any family .If you look for Catholic education this is not the correct school.

This is our first year at the school and we are satisfied with our kindergarten experience It is the best decision we have made My son can add, subtract, writing having a spell-a-thon and read sentences. I think a good base is important and we are happy to have come here. He loves the teacher Mr. T and kindergarten class. As a parent, communication with the teacher is important for the success of my child and without a doubt the teacher has excellent communication with us, she is open to answering any doubts and questions we may have, especially this year it has been challenge for having an distance learning program .

The teachers care about students progress. The after-school program stays open till late, which was very convenient before the pandemic. The academics are decent, definitely better than in public schools in the area.

St.John clearly demonstrates that they have a passion for teaching and care for their students. My son had come to enjoy learning remotely and even looks forward to his classes. I am glad that I enrolled him into St.John.

I made the decision to transfer my son to St John after his last school did not meet our needs during the beginning part of COVID in 2020. Not only did the school meet my expectations they have gone above and beyond to continue to demonstrate that they care about the quality of education that the children are receiving thru zoom. The teacher and the principal are readily available to us at any time. The school has hosted drive thru fundraisers to continue to stay involved with our community. The school cares about all aspects that goes into our childrens education. I am so happy I made the switch to St John and I look forward to many more years here.

I graduated in 1969. The sistes did a remarkable job of keeping us in line. i laugh when someone complains about 15 kids in a classroom. Those sisters wrangled as many as 50 chilren at a time. We learned well and fast. I have so many great memories of Sr. Paula, my first grade teacher who I later worked with as a teachers aid ; Sr. Margarita, desperately trying to teach us French.; Sr. Angela who introduced us to Algebra.....which I am happy to say I have never needed it. Mr. Bill Walton, well he was my classmate for 8 years and now teaches in the same classrooms where we learned. The sisters were strict but fair. St. John the Baptist School taught me how to sing to Jesus and I have been singing to Him ever since. That school gave me an incredibly strong foundation of faith, I was richly blessed and I continue to be blessed that I was given an opportunity to learn and grow up in a strong faith community.
