New BJJ school in El Monte that just recently opened up. Its a Checkmat affiliate and the instructors are black belts under Leo Vieira. Prices are very competitive and the mat space is huge. Since its new, (and due to COVID) there are very few students so classes feel like small group privates. First class is free so it doesnt hurt to check it out.

Very clean and well lit BJJ academy. Great mat space with a lot of parking in the back. Amazing instruction from professors Jair and Marat.When I visited, professor Leo Vieira was there teaching fundamentals! It really doesnt get more world class than this! If youre local to the area, you NEED to train at Checkmat in El Monte!

I recommend visit this gym! My kids love this place!!
