Former student. I really do miss Andress but definitely not for its students. Most of the comments here are right, there is a bad gang problem but the good thing (compared to other High Schools in the city) is that as long as you stay away from said things and behaviors, you will do completely fine. There are also some really bright students here in my opinion, and the teachers, lets not even mention how professional, educated, and awesome most of them were here! I really do miss my teachers from Andress, they were way better from the other schools I had attended. Especially since most of these have to go through a lot with these kids...

My local AFJROTC and I attended this school voluntarily to help out with one of their celebration and I can say the behavior of the kids is going south pretty fast. I expected cute, little, innocent kids having fun as I remembered them but I saw kids with big mouths, gang styles, Mohawks, and dancing as if they were 21 year old. I can see this school had potential at some time but now Im not sure.

Attended a boys varsity basketball game this evening and the fans and environment was electronic and fun. Good lighting and parking and easy to find

Terrible experience with a majority of problems, the main one being my diploma!!Barely received my diploma today October 7, 2016 and I graduated in June and am already attending UTEP!I would understand if I was a delinquent like some that Ive seen, but graduating with almost zero absences, A and A-B Honor Roll throughout my 4 years, and 36 college credit hours, I would expect more. I am so disappointed and embarrassed of this school. Who is doing their job?

C/O 2010. They messed up my math classes and I ended up taking a freshman class as a senior because of it. They were extremely biased and would only enforce the dress code on certain people. Bullying issues were never addressed, bathrooms were horrible, and its just a very unorganized school.I was freshman princess for homecoming, and not a damn soul would tell me where I needed to be and when. They play favorites and wouldnt bother with you if you werent a favorite.

It the best thing for my son academically. I believe it has everything for my gifted & talented son.

I love andress they have very nice teachers they respetthe students and they handel bulling very well but i am not going to andress i wish i was but i am not

School is a joke. The staff dont do anything to protect the students.

The kids that were in that school and go now to lincoln are stealing the I pods and their behavior is horrible :(
