I’m limiting my daughters exposure due to covid and picked the Hans for discipline, socialization, and fun! She is only 3 and they made her feel comfortable since day one. All the trainers are engaged which makes it enjoyable. A lady trainer got on her knees to spar with her (she talked about it all night). They have great air conditioning allowing my daughter to train with a mask, that is a plus! I’m glad I signed a contract. Virtual learning + Hans is the perfect combination.

This is the Martial Arts Dojo you can trust. Kids can start at age 3. And they have a lot of instructors and kids learn! Look at all the awards. Then look at how many women and girls come. And it is not expensive. Come for a free couple of days of training.

I simply called to ask about how much the monthly fee would be for adult kickboxing classes. The man on the phone went on a tangent about how amazing and successful his daughters are and who happen to also be instructors there at his dojo. Once he was done he offered a $10 3day class trial then i would be evaluated to see if they would even consider me to be accepted into their dojo and Then he asked “so will you take the offer and come in tonight” (keep in mind i just moved to El Paso and i had previous experience back home, i just wanted to call dojo’s and compare prices) so i proceed to tell him “Thankyou! But i was just wondering what the Prices were and i won’t know what kind of daily schedule I’ll have until next month, i was just calling to plan ahead.” He then screamed at me and told me i was dumb for not taking such a great opportunity like this and i quote “we don’t like people like you here. I DONT LIKE YOU at all. So NO. Don’t come in next month or the month after that because we will not accept people like you here!” Then hung up...i just had a simple questionAnd i was treated with the most disrespectful customer service...

Due to the pandemic, I decided I need to break my contract to Hans Oriental Martial Arts. I am willing to pay any penalty fee offered. I spoke to the owner about my reasoning, and after a long winded lecture, he finally gave me the number of who I can call.It directs to the company that handles its contracts. Amerinational Management Services. Ive been put on hold every single time I call and stay on for hours.Im really concerned that I there is absolutely no way to get in contact with someone who can help. Im also worried about what happens once the contract is over. My contract states that there will be an automatic renewal. How can I cancel that if I cant even get a hold of anyone?

When my son started, everything went well. Prices are great and he loved his sessions. Once covid-19 hit, I called to cancel his subscription and they told me we had to pay 50% of the balance. That’s more than $1000!! I spoke to Master Han & he said I could put his subscription on hold for 3 months (something I don’t want.) He said he had to learn how to deal with covid-19 while practicing good hygiene. Comes to show you guys only care about your money and don’t care if kids are exposed and don’t respect my decision as a parent. I want him out of Karate but have to pay $1000? That’s ridiculous!!

These people really want to charge to cancel a contract doing COVID, half of the contract amount. After explaining that I have someone elderly at home they said they can charge instead 40%. On top of that they kept charging my account while everything was shut down and said those charges wouldn’t be put towards the cancellation. They are really putting a different face when coming in for information and not being reasonable for cancellations. Once you sign you are locked in and that’s all they care about it seems. I don’t understand how they don’t think about the current situation and allow for cancellation. DO NOT SIGN THE CONTRACT!!!

Idk why I just thought of this place but I trained here from 4th grade to 7th grade. 1 belt away from black belt. I just stopped going which I regret to this day. This was over 10 years ago but still remember a good amount. Jenny was by far my favorite instructor and not to sure if they still do it, but they would get 5 or so students to fight an instructor and I got kicked so hard in the gut by Heather, but it was an honor lolNot many people can say they got kicked by an martial arts instructor

Our daughter has been attending Hans for just over 6 months and loves it. The rates are very reasonable and they train 3x a week. The staff is very talented and works well with all ages. Our daughters confidence in and out of the gym has improved which is super important for a preteen. The environment is very family oriented and welcoming. I absolutely recommend Hans Oriental Martial Arts!

The Han Family is great! This school has helped my Son (age 8) who is very full of energy. I would recommend to any parents who are looking for a martial arts school to help with focus, self-defense, self-confidence and physical discipline. My Son has been there since May of 2017 and I cant wait until he becomes a black belt. He is very determined and loves going. It is a 3 year commitment but you cant become a black belt overnight, it takes time and discipline like in any activity, hobby or sport.

I trained at this school for over three years, and I went from thinking I knew how to fight to actually being able to fight. El Pasos first world champion, Jennifer Han, was my instructor. If you are going to learn from anyone, learn from a champion. When I look for a martial arts school, I want to learn from the best. After weeks of research of trying to find the best martial arts school in El Paso, this school was the one I chose, and I am extremely glad for my decision. If you want to learn the best martial arts, and if you want to see the best version of yourself, then this is the school to choose.

This is hands down the best place to come if you are looking for a Martial Arts School, here you will definitely feel very welcome by the Hans family. Not to mention you will have as an instructor Ms.Jennifer Han, El Pasos Sweet Heart, who is an amazing person, and now a close friend of mine. All their family will teach and treat you with extreme professionalism, very down to earth people and the atmosphere is very positive. I recomend Hans Oriental Martial Arts School 100%. Our experience has been amazing, my son has learned to be more respectful and his self-esteem has improved alot.

I was at this school for 3 years and I loved it! It taught me many things. Seriously this school had an impact on me. When I moved I left with a brown belt, sadly I didnt get to finish my training. Now I am relearning self defense. I now train at bushido pinellas park in saint Petersburg florida. Because of this school Im one of the best students in my class. I have been in bushido for 6 months, I now have my blue belt. From white, orange, and yellow. Thanks you hans martial arts Academy. :)
