Hands down the very best martial arts school in El Paso. The team at El Pasi Karate take things a few steps fuether than anyone else and apply life lessons to the skills they teach without compromising the technical proficency needed to advance through the belts

Both of my children (5yr old & 4yr old) have been attending Karate at El Paso Karate . They absolutely love the instructors as well as I. The instructors create a safe and fun learning environment and my kids are thriving there. The instructors are very good at ensuring they work with each and every childs level of understanding and ability! No complaints! Highly recommend! I wish we were not PCSing in June because it will be hard for myself and children to leave this great establishment!

This staff is dedicated, caring about the children outside of class, ensuring the self discipline carries through. My son is confident, and eager to accomplish new forms. Holy smokes, these guys really know how to keep a kids focus. It is practically a magic trick. The enthusiasm and energy they put into each class whether it be in person or through zoom is simply amazing. I could not recommend them enough. Seeing videos from the first classes to the present will leave you dumbfounded at the transformation. Black belt focused indeed.

Services are great. Was iffy based upon on some reviews. Not too sure what other clients were looking at, or what they experienced. Our time at this school has been phenomenal. From the way you are treated at the front desk, to the way the instructors reach out and communicate with you. To the way they try to work with their students. We came from A different school, and man this one cannot be compared to what we dealt before. If you’re looking for a school to start training, you can’t go wrong with this one.

Our baby boy started going to El Paso Karate about 2 months ago. I have watched him grow and mature during this time frame. When he first started, he would not stay still and was easily distracted. Now he is focused, black belt focused. Love the instructors and the staff, they seem to be genuine and dedicated to making a difference in the lives of the young people that attend the class.

Nothing but Positive!! My daughter has been wanting to train in Karate for quite a while. She had 2 personal, very memorable lessons a couple of years ago, and never forgot those. Now that she has restarted, she loves attending twice a week. I have got to say that the instructors are the best possible for these young kids!! My daughter is progressing very well, and has had very positive changes at home in her character!!

I love El Paso Karate. My 2 daughters love going there. The instructors are awesome. My daughter at first was shy and cried but the instructors made her feel comfortable paid special attention so she would feel overwhelmed. They know each kid by name. Trust me theres a lot of them and yet they call each one of them individually by name. They make you feel comfortable and family friendly. Totally go for El Paso Karate

So glad they were closed on friday when i went to sign my 2 up. God works in mysterious ways. So i took them to Hans oriental. And they give a 3 day trial. For $10. And no hidden fees and discounts for mulitiple kids. Even spoke to a dad who took his kid out of el paso karate and is happier where i brought kids. And very family oriented.

My sons experience at El Paso Karate has been AWESOME! Weve tried him out in different sports and he is the type to constantly want to keep moving. So he has been having a wonderful time learning new things and being able to put all his moves together. While also learning to have self control and to pay attention. His pre k teacher says she sees him more focused and more willing to listen and is more attentive than the other kids. Which i think El Paso karate has helped greatly with. The staff at El Paso Karate is also awesome! Always very informative and willing to answer questions as well as making instruction time fun and beneficial for the kids. We look forward to practices and continuing on through the program for however much longer my son wants to and we know that El Paso Karate will always be welcoming!

Soooo not worth it anymore. My kids have been attending El Paso Karate for about 2 years. However since that time my kids have lost interest and was just waiting for our contract to be over. First they got rid of the two best karate instructors I have ever met. They got rid of Mr. Marcos the only person in that whole organization that knew how to work and interact with children. My boys were devastated and so was my husband. My oldest was an A honor student, but with very bad self-esteem when we first arrived at El Paso. Then his grades dropped quickly, I thought it was maybe the move and new school. Mr. Marcos would do school visits all the time. He was the only one that noticed that my sons desk faced a window that faced the main door which would distract him. During his school visits he mentioned it to the teacher and even rearranged the room for her. The next report card all As once again and he would raise my sons self esteem through the roof when ever he saw him at school or in karate class. I mentioned it to a friend and parent from the Karate school. She told me that her daughter was failing math and with the help of Mr. Marcos which he would tutor occasionally she was an A honor student. Its that type of dedication that is lacking at El Paso Karate. My elderly parents would come to visit from out of state. The first thing they would ask for was to go see the kids in karate class but they would just go for Mr. Marcos. He would hug them and greet them with so much love that it was like they new each other from another place and time. Then they got rid of Mr. Josh this instructor was key for my children since my husband was deployed. Mr. Josh would be strict yet with so much love and respect would help me keep the boys on good behavior. Mr. Josh was the perfect role model which most army mothers need with deployed husbands. Its like the magic is gone and your stuck with a contract. Maybe its not the team but the management that needs to be updated or replaced not the young men who drive the business. Till this day my kids still ask for them and so does my family. You can have the best karate school and have the best karate instructors that are great at karate. How ever if you dont know how to interact with kids, love kids and work with kids, then its pointless.

Not quite sure how to start this review because of how bittersweet our experience has been with EPK. I love how they reeled us in. They seemed very dedicated to teaching each student. The instructors are great. My favorites are coach Niko and coach Dallas. Mr. Ed has the wonderful job of recruiting students which he is great at and deserves that pat on the back. Ms. Norma upfront gets treated unfairly. There is a grand amount of miscommunication among ALL of the insturctors. And they seem to put that on her shoulders and are sometimes very rude to her. The whole life skills sheet is good in theory but when the instructors lose the sheets and then tell the small child to their face that they didnt turn it in (when they did and on time) its a little backwards to what they are trying to accomplish by handing these sheets out. The other thing is the monthly activities that cost anywhere from $100-$250 which i find is mind boggling since they already make you pay 100 a month to take classes. They announce they fun activities to the kids which makes it hard to say no to. When the prices are that high. The little dragons/begginers do the same things over and over again (front punch, back punch, front kick, back kick, upper cut, hook). Over and over for a whole year. And you have to pay 40 for them to move onto a new belt btw. Oh but dont get me wrong, they are given the opportunity to learn more in the next level they have but hey you have to pay 200 something a month for that. They are like any wolf in sheep clothing company. Reel them in with nice instructors and encouragement but try to take any money from them that you can. I could throw a glow in the dark dodgeball at my kid for free. And hit him with pool noodles till she learns how to block for free as well and be just as encouraging. In the end they are nice people just wish they had more integrity as a company.

I was given the opportunity to learn and grow with a martial arts team through my teenage years and my 20s, and now as a parent, I wanted my own children to be part of a local martial arts team. My children became very interested in El Paso Karate since the instructors made several appearances at the their elementary school. At the time we were looking for an after-school activity for the children so we decided to visit the school for more information. We have four children, and three of them (one was to young) attended EP Karate, and they all enjoyed it. As a parent, I found EP Karate fitness routines and lessons helped our children to stay fit and focus throughout school and summer times. Every belt promotion came with a new challenge - EP Karate instructors would always encourage the children to do their best and meet all their goals. All of our children are Honor Roll students. They have achieved several personal goals such as, Millionaire’s Club (read over a million words), Top AR student (reached the highest points reading books), perfect scores in science fair experiments and presentations, obtained the highest grade in several subjects for the STAAR exam, among other achievements.El Paso Karate is a family oriented school committed to help your children succeed!
