He is a black belt from Brazil, is one of the most technical fighters I have ever seen and amazing teacher.You will find group classes, kids classes, women classes and competitors classes in so many different schedules.Whatever is your goal with the practice, this is for sure the place to take your BJJ to the next level

My family and I recently joined and are so happy we did. The Professor is professional, skilled, and a great teacher; we are learning so much. The place is open and clean and the people are warm and welcoming. So grateful to be a part of this community.

Absolutely this location, I have trained at 5 different gyms and this is easily one of the best I have come across. Thiago is an excellent professor for those looking for self-defense and or competition training.

Best place to train in the South bay hands down. Great training environment for the whole family, my niece and myself train here for the last 3 years. Professor Thaigo is one of the best when it comes to teaching the complex art of Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and presents it to his students in matter that anybody can learn! Also they have two bathrooms and a water machine. Im very fortunate to find this gym near my home.

Torse House is the best thing that has ever happened to me Thiago is a dedicated, passionate patient person who can help anyone from any walk of life learn Jiu Jitsu.In Short - amazing great price unlimited classes are cheaper than anywhere else in the city and two classes per day for adults 7 days a week. I lost 40 lbs in 6 months yes... its that good. (335 to 295)In the past 6 months after being nervous to come in I have been made to feel like family. Ive learned about myself, Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, patience, humility, and discipline in a way I havent before.Ive been able to make life long friends, and grow in my Jiu Jitsu knowledge while each day being humbled and growing so its my favorite place to go now, I would suggest it to anyone who is nervous about trying out a martial art, best way to start. First off, if you are reading this review, asking yourself if you should join this BJJ class, DO IT, tomorrow, and look no further.First, you rarely go to a class where the actual owner, and black belt professional teaches all the classes, and is completely hands on with all of his students.Second, professor Thiago is very patient with his students, BUT will push you very hard to be in the best shape possible while perfecting your technique.Third, there is a verity of training partners, from white belts to brown belts, and every partner that I have had is very good at drilling, which is very important to me.Thiago has an amazing skill with the kids where he is very cute with them, but also expects much discipline and work ethic from them. Something all our kids need!Lastly, this studio is like a family, and I was welcomed in with arms wide open from the time I stepped in. We all need a wholesome community, and you will find that here.Thiago really cares about his students, he cares about the reputation of his gym, he cares about your health and fitness, he cares about you getting better. Stopped in for one night on a stop over in LA. Made to feel at home, Thiago is a great coach and competitor, the training partners are also awesome. If youre looking for a spot to train BJJ this is it.

This place is as legit as it gets.First off, the professor, Thiago, is great! Hes welcoming of all BJJ types from hobbyists to potential competitors, and if you choose to go the competitive route hell be there to coach you through your tourneys. Also, the instruction in general here feels very one-on-one because Thiago spends time observing each student perform the moves he teaches and will help guide you through even the tiniest details to help improve your game.The community is great! I personally didnt experience any bad egos from anyone and theres definitely a feeling of camaraderie among the students. Some even seem to hang out after training during the weekends and Thiago likes to keep everyone in touch via WhatsApp. Also, if youre visiting from another school, the doors are open for you to come train (Im not sure if theres a mat fee. I dont think so, but dont quote this review on that :) ).Pricing (as of this review) is really fair in my opinion. No contract commitment is $150 a month, but if you sign up for a year its $120 a month. I thought this was very affordable hobby for the LA county area.Finally, the place is clean! Ive been to other schools where the mats are filthy, so dont take this benefit for granted.
