This was the biggest 99 cent that I have visited, so it offered more selection to choice from.I usually shop for office supplies for my own personal use because I dont have to always pay higher prices for office supplies, certain food, fruits, veggies and frozen foods, kid toys and stuff especially to fill boxes for shoe box ( Samantha purse) ministry.Happy shopping 😀

The items in the store were very affordable. Obviously due to its a dollars storeNot everything is 99cents but most items are very reasonable under $10. They have toys, fruits, snacks, housing things, small electrical things. I would come back to this location again. They only had 1 cashier when I visited thus making the wait a bit long. With that being said I would come again

Awesome staff, love that they keep doors open for ventilation and sanitize carts plus offer hand sanitizer upon entry/exit. Produce selection was amazing today! Staff is so professional and nice.

Its the cleanest and well layed out 99c store Ive been to. Its so well run that people from out of town come to this one instead of the ones closer to where they live. The extra travel must be worth it and I dont blame them. This ones good

I have been shopping at the 99 cent store for many years now and am overjoyed at their low prices and excellent customer service. Last Christmas, Beatrice (the wife) needed some ingredients for our dinner with the family visiting from Ohio. When we checked our cupboard, we found that most of our food due to some major oversights. Beatrice (the wife) was in a magor panic. I suggested she go to your fine store to pick up ingredants. Although she was reluctant, she eventually gave in and bought everything needed for dinner (corn, beans, etc.) in your fine store. When dinner came, the family loved it and thought it was from a more expensive establishment. Little did they know it was the same quality as the usual for half the price. Great customer service and it’s well stocked and very clean but the only problem is you have to check the expiration dates on certain things like today I bought some noodles that were expired

One of the most organized and cleanest 99 cent stores I ever been to. The staff is very friendly as well so that helps a lot too they usually have to check stands open which is a downside but I still give them 5 stars. The fresh vegetable section is always stocked in the freezer section always has a variety of healthy foods and their as well stop by for you to pick up some vegetables and some household products at a cheaper price cant beat that

As someone that loves a good deal and has gone to several 99 cents only stores in multiple states, this store is fairly large and has a good selection... love that they have a parking garage... during the day they are usually low on cashiers so line can get a bit long but, its worth the wait given many products i purchase there are twice the price at chain grocery stores

I shop here every other week. Great produce selection and much more. I bring my elderly neighbors who will walk and shop every aisle and turn out to be BIG SPENDERS because of the deals they find.

Deeply functional - more applicable to your every day life than you think. Their items are similar or identical to what you get at Ralphs, but way way cheaper. If you shop on a budget, the most intelligent decision is to take account of what they have here.

I havent even been here yet, but my boyfriend just told me about this location. Him and his Boss just went inside to take a look and sent me a text saying this was our new 99....Lol the ones by our place are not very clean and have people out begging for money and lurking around your cars. Im happy to say we will be taking a drive to this location very soon to start shopping. Im giving 5 stars based off of my boyfriends comments regarding his visit:)

Awkward interaction with an employee when you return something. I was trying to figure out if clearance merchandise was returnable, which an employee said it was when I bought it 4 days ago, but awkwardly learned it was not. I understand that clearance merch isn’t returnable at many other stores, but they’re signage always states that.Here, the 50% off sign did not, nor did staff mention it. I don’t have a problem at all with not being able to return clearance merchandise, I’m just disappointed with it not being clearly stated. And also with awkward employee interactions.

Some of their packaged produce & salad mixings are the same brands one can buy in the supermarket, but for $1 here rather than at least 50 cents more at the market. But look carefully at the fruit before buying!They sell seaweed in 3-pack bundles for $1, which is way cheaper than Costco. There are 3 flavors, including teriyaki & spicy, but I only buy the regular.I also buy a bunch of school supplies & raffle prizes for my students at the store. This particular store has its own parking garage, & its located right in downtown El Segundo.

Best kept secret in El Segundo. Best of all the locations in my area. Always clean, full of fresh produce and the staff is usually helpful and polite.

This was our first stop at the 99ent store. It has a very large selection for kitchen utilities, sweets, decoration and drinks! Also we found pharmacy articles, clothing, and summershoes. We liked this shop very much, unfortunately also because of the nice prices!

The cleanest and most organized 99cent store Ive ever seen

This is a review & confession...as a long time resident of El Segundo I habored a negative opinion when the 99 Cent Only store opened this store. While not the full service grocery/markets that serviced the community in this location in the past, the 99 Cent Store has satisfied the need for selected grocery products & needed convenience products. Certainly better than not having a resource for groceries resonably priced in the old downtown area....without having to go across (east of) Sepulveda.

Love this store, i live in Washington state, whenever i visit my sister, who is a local, i cant wait too go there.Have too check an extra bag on the plane this next trip, just for all my special finds from my favorite store, in El Segundo!

Rarely a line at the El Segundo location. Parking is pretty good, considering how small the downtown area is.

Really like this store. You can alwas find great deals. Just make sure you check expiration dates. Parking is horrible.

This store HAD problems with hoarding or supply issuses...the store had improved somewhat now since last review,They still run out of items , but now its only once in a while. Updated 2020 major shortage problems again.People that own small restaurants come and purchase large quantities of milk, bread, eggs, & water! Not that theres anything wrong with that, but please lets not go more than a couple days before you realize that you need to order more.

This 99 cent store is relatively awesome! Most of the food is cheap and near the residential area, for fast pick-ups. However, sometimes the cashiers can be rude sometimes.

Always great deals, and youll always find things you would never expected.

You always find good items here and you will come out with something. Even if you werent going to.

Had strange experience today. There was a special on some items that I wanted. 4 for 99 cents.Took the items to check out and was charged more than the sale price. Cashier told me the items. Not all. Didnt have sticker on themThis despite items being at the end of checkout and cashier then said she couldnt give me the priceWalked out leaving items for them to put awayVery strange

This store is actually one of the 9 circles of hell. You may have the impression that people work here, they dont. You think you may just be able to walk in and get something, you cant. Horribly understaffed and wait times to check out are ludicrous. I hate this place.

The quality of food is plenty but goes bad quickly. Alot of it was old/stale. Big selection, but poor quality.

Its a good place to get alot of cheap products. Many are not the best quality but still a good cheap place.

They have a lot of things I like or things I dont think I need but I find a use for. The store itself is clean and well stocked most of the time. The only down side to the store is the staff is not very friendly.
