I called Ideal Driving school since I needed a refresher course (I already have drivers license). The lady I spoke to was very professional and super nice! My instructor, Wes was AMAZING!!!! He was the best driving instructor I ever had. He was extremely professional, clear and provided guidance on what things I did well and what I needed to improve on. I have not received this type of professionalism from any other driving schools when I needed a refresher the past few months. Wes is THE best! I highly recommend Ideal Driving School especially Wes for refresher courses or to pass your driving test!!

I took 5 classes with this Ideal Driving School. I had the instructor Wes.Wes was very professional and explained everything perfectly! He was always patient and gave me a lot of information that I will always remember as I continue to drive. He made me feel more confident in myself and in my driving. I called Ideal Driving School Elizabeth in a panic just 2 weeks before my very first time at the road test. George kindly answered, I paid, and scheduled my 7 hour package of lessons right then - stress free.I am so happy to say I passed the road test with superwoman confidence yesterday all thanks to my instructor (Wes)!! My first and only attempt- boom! Hello license and freedom!This is not just a job for Wes, but his vocation and calling. He was extremely creative, attentive, and patient with me- taking away the trauma I had from past instructors who really didn’t care and led me to not even try driving again for several years!!I always felt safe, calm, and at ease with Wes, because his voice is so soothing! He is like the Bob Ross of driving instruction.He helped me gain the knowledge, confidence, and control necessary to be safe on the road- beyond the road test.Wes will give you personalized help unique to your driving habits. I was shocked at how he was well aware of my eyes, feet, and hand placement and instantly knew issues I needed to fix. He even made a drawing and explained concepts to me with a tiny car model. As a visual person that helped solidify everything he was telling me.Wes was still teaching me safety tips I needed to know even on our way back to my home after I passed the road test. He is full of heart and passion. I am definitely coming back for some refinement lessons with him. He really is a Godsend and I thank the good Lord daily for the blessing of finding Ideal Driving School and getting paired up with Wes.

I started my driving lessons with zero driving experience. Never sat behind a wheel before and my instructor (Wes) took his time to get me to understand everything I needed to know. Never rushed my learning process. He’s very soft spoken. Never got upset when I made mistakes but instead reassured me and made me feel confident that I would pass my road test. I took my test today and I passed on the first try!!!!.

My instructor Wes, taught me really well in the short span of an hour (that’s how long I scheduled my class for) This was my first driving class and he taught me everything I needed to know for the road test; parking, 3-point turns, street signs, etc.. He was patient and explained things calmly and simply. I felt comfortable behind the wheel. My experience was informative and professional, and I passed my road test that same day! Wes was the best driving instructor I’ve ever seen. He was extremely polite and very patient. He answered any and every question I had and definitely mad it very easy for me and 2 others pass the road test today. I highly recommend to use (ideal) especially for people who are getting their licence for the first time.

Got the 7 hour package with them to prep for my road test. My instructor (Wes) was very cool and he taught me everything I needed to know to pass the test. He even gave me a few motivational speeches as I waited in line for my test. I passed on the first try btw. Instructor was so cool that I want to go back to driving school even though I don’t need to. 10/10 recommended!

Well for starters if your looking to pass your road test then ideal driving school located in Elizabeth New Jersey is the right place to go. With only 3 classes , 2 hours long , and priced roughly about $320 was well worth it. When I first arrived at the school I was greeted with open arms and the lady at the desk gave me the best options and suggestions to me to make the classes go smoothly. My driver instructor was very friendly to the point were I was comfortable with him and I could trust him. He helped me with everything I needed and for that I thank him. Overall I passed my road test earlier today and I thank ideal driving school for that.

New students beware! I recently got my cdl through this school and it was a horrible experience. My real reason for writing this is to help others. The training that i received was not efficient or complete. On The day of my motor vehicles test i failed because i didnt know how to do a proper inspection of the back or side of the bus. The trainers only gave me two videos to watch covering the inside and front(motor) of the bus. I was never told or trained about the side or back of the bus. I called the the lady manager at the woodbridge office and told her what had occurred and she was totally ignorant and unhelpful about the whole situation, i told her that i was never given the third training video that covered the back and side of the bus. She argued that i received everything and was totally dismissive of my incident. I called the other office in elizabeth and nobody new anything about a third training video including the manager in Woodbridge when indeed there is one that was given to me by a trainee of course after i had to pay $250.00 dollars for them to take me back to the dmv. I had to pay an extra $250.00 for their irresponsible unacceptable mistakes. Its not fair for the public to have to go through this. And thats why i post this review. I dont recommend this school.

Bad experience, when I enrolled my daughter in this driving school it was before the pandemic started and I paid a value in which they told me that it was all inclusive, the permit and the driving test, after they gave her classes They demanded that I have to pay an extra for the permit to be processed and now that I have to pay an extra for them to take the exam, for me this is a robbery, I do not recommend it
