I’m a Pre Med student at Rutgers University who decided to take this course to set foot into the medical field. I decided to take the Phlebotomy course offered here at E&S Academy. I really enjoyed Mrs. Yolanda’s teaching and in-person instruction. Everything was hands-on straight from the first day you step foot into the doors. The staff was extremely friendly and I was able to make lifelong connections here. I would recommend others who are interested to take classes here!

I am a student at Montclair State University and I recently completed the Phlebotomy class and absolutely loved it. From the beginning and being helped by Chastity when signing up to Mrs. Yolanda being so loving. This was a great class and truly ensured that I not only learned a lot but also have assistance in finding a job. I would highly recommend my university sisters to take a class here as well.

Professor Mrs Yolanda is awesome because she made students to comprehend the materials really well. I really love the way she explain the materials to the students. She invite volunteers to draw blood which helps us to practice more manually. She is a great professor.

I took a phlebotomy class in Elizabeth nj campus.The school has a beautiful and wonderful instructor Yolanda Evgeniou, she is a Magic. Always motivated and always postive. I got a job the day I got my certificate and I am so glad That I took this class. Please! If you are thinking about a training program on Phlebotomy, E&S at Elizabeth is the place! The staff are great as well!

I completed the phlebotomy course at the Elizabeth site. Hands down the best experience. Mrs Yolanda was very helpful and loving at all times during clinicals. The school director, Gimena will make sure you get everything done for you to get your certificate; the staff members are also very professional, so feel free to contact them at any time.

The course was well explained and easily operable .Classroom for the clinical days was very safe and clean desk spaced 6 feet apart because of the COVID-19 , temperature check . The teacher was very encouraging and supportive and the classmate very friendly . All in all a great experience!!!

I took EKG and currently taking Phlebotomy. This school is very intense since it is in a short period but very much worth it. The instructors and staff are very helpful and very considerate. They are willing to work with you and every situation youre in. Alex is a very bright instructor, Anabel is very professional school director, and Marc Anthony is an extremely friendly and helpful admissions rep. I would recommend this school to anyone trying to step in or make themselves competitive in the medical field.

The staff are as friendly and helpful as they come. Instructors are up-to-date. The only students that complain are the ones that dont follow the instructions. I gotta say that this is the number one school in the area. I got my uniform and textbooks in the first day. Clean classrooms, safe environment, and they really care about your future. Can you get any better? Go to this school and ignore the one stars.

I went to this school referred by a friend to also get my home health aide licence a few years ago . The instructor was great my classmates was great we all helped each other ... I passed my exam with flying colors I was the first to finish all questions I got right I studied like crazy .. I love how much they cared about me and my classmates I recommend this school .. they are willing to do payment plans thats how I was able to pay for my course .. now almost 5 years later Im going back for another course in another department .. they have expanded courses to online so you wont have Travel .. Convenient for a mom with kids like me who when I first started there I had one child now I have 2 children lol thanks e & s for the experience love you guys LETS DO IT !!!

This school is by far the best institution that anyone could choose to obtain their medical certificates. I chose phlebotomy and after taking the course I am so much more knowledgeable about the field and have experience that I will never forget. The instructor worked with every student individually and at their own pace allowing everyone to be successful. This Academy was a great experience and allowed me to have many job opportunities. I attended and graduated with the January class as a phlebotomy technician and currently work at the VA hospital. Overall it was a great experience, and the instructors are very helpful. The class sizes are small which make it easier to ask questions and have the full educational experience. This school helped me find employment. The staff are friendly and at the beginning of the class they tell you that you can go visit them if you need extra help. After completing my Phlebotomy class, I am happy to say they are a number one school in the area. Some of the bad reviews here make no sense. The second a student registers they give you application forms that give you instructions on how to go forward after the class and after graduation. I even had my resume done for me. It is way better than what I got at my college. I definitely recommend them. Ignore the bad reviews.

E&S is a great school. I just completed my 3 week course for HHA. The instructor Ms. Mead is amazing !! I was skeptical at first but I quickly realized the professionalism of this school.The staff great and helpful. If youre looking for a school that offers your needs, this is the place.

THIS “SCHOOL” IS AN ABSOLUTE JOKE. It’s more about the money for this school. I signed up for a class and a month in advance I notified them that I could not attend, they told me no problem! That they would send me my refund check in the mail. This was almost a month ago and I am still waiting on my “check”. I have emailed them constantly, tried to get in contact with them and it’s been over a week and I have not heard a single thing. But you tell me, they take forever to address this with me but are quick to call someone inquiring about their programs? PATHETIC.

My overall experience with E&S ACADEMY is nothing but GREATNESS! My teacher has not taught us the book but also, self love, finances, life lessons, profiting from investments, the list goes on. My teacher is the BEST and I couldnt be any happier this is the $400 Ive spent by far continuing my education, gaining friends, mentors and life long lessons thatll stick with me FOREVER. Id encourage anyone to attend the Academy you wont be disappointed that I can PROMISE YOU!

Damn when they promised u job placements rip, never happened and now I feel like I wasted my money on this course. The instructor was amazing tho. I ended up having a different job instead of a phlebotomist

Had to write a review after reading some stuff about the staff. Just finished taking an EKG and Online Coding & Billing course. I dont understand the bad reviews. Staff always have orientations at the beginning of the classes to discuss what they are responsible for. State is usually slow on processing state licenses. If you love the medical field there is no way you will not like this course. The staff goes above and beyond to help anyone who is willing to help themselves advance in their career. Instructor Alex is so passionate at teaching its near impossible for anyone to fail! I received my certificate in Medical Assistant but soon after went a different direction for work. I decided to change career paths back into the medical field but had no previous experience other than my school and externship so I decided to take a course to add it onto my resume and phlebotomy was the best choice for me because it was my most favorable class in my MA course. I just took my final exam today and passed it! Now hopefully with some letters of recommendations and an updated resume I will be on my way to a new beginning for myself! I am so excited to begin my new career!

E&S Academy is a an amazing medical institution. The teachers are quite knowledgeable about the material we go through in class and are given the necessary tools to do well in class. The atmosphere is also pleasant that you dont feel nervous in the class and its also great that you are offered support when you need it.

Very reliable and affordable technical school, also its a community based organization.offers all different type of programs and much cheaper than any college in the state of New jersey.

I attended E & S Academy and took the phlebotomy course, my instructor was MR. COLLINS and he was the bomb!! He made sure that everyone understood and passed the course by earning their grade. I wish he could teach every course honestly =). On the other end of things this school says they do job placement, THAT IS A STRAIGHT LIE AND DONT BE FOOLED.! They give you locations that could possibly be hiring in their area ONLY (Elizabeth,NJ). They dont necessarily meet the needs of the student to help them go further in this particular field. I spent a lot of money on this course, and I expected to be have proper job placement like the marketing on the website showed. I would not come back here, but i thank GOD for my instructor because he helped me way more than the school did!

School is a scam..the other locations are probably scammers as well..I was looking for a school to take my Phlebotomy course that will also provide employment opportunities. I called multiple schools & asked about the program, payment plans, & employment opportunities. I chose E&S Academy in Elizabeth, which I regret doing because its a rip-off. Before choosing the school I asked them do they provide employment opportunities and they said yes. I asked again when I made a deposit, & I asked again when I had to come in to give them copies of 2 forms of ID. Each time I asked I received the same answer yes. They even have flyers at their facility stating employment opportunities. Once I finished my program & successfully obtained my Certification the school went ghost. They did not provide employment opportunities. First they said they provide guaranteed job placement, then they switched it to guaranteed interviews, & then switched back to saying they actually provide job placement. They actually provided NOTHING, but a sheet of paper of job listings with old addresses & phone #s. If I wanted a job listing I could just go on Indeed for actual up-to-date listings. Myself & fellow classmates were also promised letters of recommendations and we have not received a response. I ONLY chose this school for the price and because they constantly kept saying that they provide employment opportunities. This school is a scam & they also hold your money when they dont even have instructors to teach the class. They just tell you the class has been pushed back without stating the reason. This school needs to be put on blast for false advertisement........& YES Annabelle I did all of that..my fellow classmates as well..you should communicate w/ your staff before replying..I communicated via phone & in-person w/ them multiple times after graduating..all yall gave us was a sheet of paper w/ job listings w/ old addresses & #s which I told your staff about & there was no solution from yall...I was told I would receive an updated list..which never happened..nor did they notify the rest of the students about the old list..I AM THE ONE that notified my classmates ..On God yall went ghost in helping us after graduating whether yall want to admit it or not & continue to put on this show..My fellow classmates are also my witnesses if yall want to continue w/ yall act..& btw saying that if your “students can’t find employment they reach out to the school” just goes to show that job placement is not included in the school.. if it was included students wouldn’t even have to be searching or have difficulties..so make it make sense before replying..how about you ask your staff who did they help with job placement for the January Phlebotomy class..& then get back to me cause the answer will be NONE..they helped NONE of us w/ job placement..& NONE of us have a job as a Phlebotomists..y’all are a scam..point,blank,period..& y’all can continue w/ the fake reviews from y’all staff & associates..& it’s crazy how when my fellow classmates & I reached out for help in January/February nobody wanted help nor did you ever pop up to help.. so stop calling me emailing me NOW to “help” just because I put y’all on blast..I graduated January it’s April..Stop the act..cause karma gonna hit y’all in y’all pockets..since all y’all care about is money..y’all scammed the wrong class

E & S Academy is a school that opens their doors to students and provides them the tools needed to enter into the medical field. Save yourself the headache & aggravation. Most of these reviews are written by the CURRENT staff. I am grateful for the instructor who treated everyone with RESPECT and spoke to everyone how she’d wanted to be spoken to. She made sure that everyone was well informed of any changes. She might as well have worked in administraton if it was possible. The employees in the office that actually were respectful often didn’t know much because of the lack if communication within the office. From the disrespectful staff to harrassing phone calls about me signing up for a class that I am currently in because no one updated my file 🤦🏾‍♀️, I wish I could give this place a complete zero. I usually dont leave reviews but I just had to and I hope this reaches many.

School has employess do the ratings.They are unprofessional.Havent gotten my license and they “promise” employment.They play the blame game with the state & never take action to make the state correct the issue.Just a whole bunch of unprofessional people.Paid $480!! And its been 4months and have not seen my license.Everytime i call anabel she gives me the run around & does not do anything effective to make the change.Dont let them suck you in!

Just completed my Phlebotomy course in the evening, with Ms. Reyonalds, and I have to say that she is a great teacher! She has a really good way of teaching and helped us a lot.On the other hand, I just think 4 weeks for this program is not enough, since we need to practice and have volunteers (which sometimes are not easy to come by).The school needs to have uniforms available to give to the students at least in the first week of class! In my case, we only got them at the end of the second week and for some students, they werent the correct sizes that were ordered.The text books arent given to us, they are lent and used.A lot of the times we werent able to practice because we didnt have the gloves we asked for, more than once! And some of the drawing tubes were expired (the coagulation tubes) which lead sometimes to failure of the blood collection, due to loss of vaccum.Overall, I had a good experience with my teacher and classmates, but there is some room for improvement in the facilities.

DO NOT GO TO THIS SCHOOL !!!!!!! This is the worse school ever I do not recommend it to ANYONE !!!! I took the 4 week Phlebotomy course and didnt get my uniform until the second week, we dont get to keep our books and the front desk staff are absolutely HORRIBLE ! They never had any supplies to complete our clinical and always gave a problem The even messed up alot of info that i couldnt take my NHA nationals exam. The only good thing i got out of this course was my teacher Mrs.Reynolds shes absolutely the best i learned alot.
