I love this school!!! A few years ago you can say kids were out of control and each one of them cursed and yelled disrespectfully at their teachers ...... However , now this huge building has been separated into two different schools and this school has become an academy. My daughter goes here and she has brought home astonishing grades. A few years back when we moved to the neighborhood that school was horrible but the board of education took matters in to their own hands and changed this school for the better. My daughter has been getting honor rolls and principle scholars every marking period this school is one of the best if you dont believe me look at it for yourself. Go to the new GEORGE WASHINGTON ACADEMY OF SCIENCE AND ENGINEERING.

My son attended this school grades 1 and a month into 2nd grade, this review is based o my experience with the school 4 years ago. The school is located in a not so great neigh orhood there are little teachers who actually care for the well being of the students. It was very disorganized with children practically running the school and I was told by staff if I was looking transfer my son out of the school it would be the best idea as there are alot of and I quote emotionally disturbed children. Teachers seem to not know conflict resolution and had me believing something was wrong with my child ADD or AdHD constant fights and A Parent got into the school up to the classroom without anyone noticing no security this school is a Joke and if you care for your childs well being do not enroll him at this school. Once I transferred my child to a better.district is an A and B student and scores above average in the state exams every year. Believe in your children more than those teachers they are just a paycheck to them

This is one of the worst schools I have ever been to as a parent of an 11years old he has never had behavioral problems I havenever had any teachers call about him in his past but since he’s been here he has been continually bullied by students and staff, i went to the school a few times to settle these matters and on one of my visits with the school social worker (who is awesome I might add) we were interrupted by a teacher screaming to the top of his lungs at third graders now when I say to the top of his lungs I mean it startled me so I know it had to scare those little kids and this was in a class room next door there was an entire brick wall separating us and I heard this man scream very clear, if you don’t have to DO NOT SEND YOUR CHILDREN TO THIS SCHOOL!!!

Would Give this a 0 out of 5 if i can. Not a good school especially if your coming from a different state. To ghetto, to much bullies and to much gangs. Nearly died here. DONT GO TO HELL!

It is the worst school ever not only is it ghetto and an unlearning environmental area. But the children dont listen when I went to go pick up my child. Another child who was in kindergarten said f*#% you to an elder security guard. Also teachers have no control what so ever the children are just out of control no home training showed. Too many fights which is an everyday thing. Very bad school for all children.

I been in this school ever sense i was in first graded and im still in but im in sixth grade now. At first i was getting bullied but now sense they have been split into two schools it is much better. As i it is 2015 and im in sixth grade in 2014 when i was in fith grade my class had the 3rd best test scores in the elizabeth public schools and we got prize i will give my life for this school I LOVE THIS SCHOOL
