Brian is an exceptional teacher and just an all-around great person. The classes at Roundhouse are generally on the small side which makes for great learning. Most schools simply have too many students with too few teachers. You really get very personalized training here. Brian is firm, fun but at the same time, you learn from the moment you step into the gym. Can’t say enough good things about Roundhouse and Brian!

I was traveling through the area and dropped in on a class recently. Ive been taking Krav Maga classes in my hometown and wanted to get some work in on the road. Brian was welcoming and he and his team ran a fun, rigorous, and useful class. The other students were also welcoming. Ill absolutely return if Im in the neighborhood.

Brian is great with the kids and teaches them valuable life skills that can be used outside of class. We have been with him over the last 5 years and my childrens self confidence has soared. They have been able avoid troublesome situations or defend themselves when needed.

Best Adult Krav Maga training around. Brian is an awesome instructor. Knows his stuff and knows how to teach it. You learn a lot and you have a lot of fun. You actually get to apply what you learn in the real life scenarios that are setup during class (IE: Blitz). You dont stand in a line practicing on air like in most self defense schools. You learn and apply. Also its a great workout. Love the Blitz.

Brians class is a great learning experience for kids. Along with learning some basic self defense moves, they learn about respect and to avoid violence. All this in a fun atmosphere. My son always looks forward to coming to class.

Head instructor Brian Kushner is an excellent teacher and vast font of knowledge. He is excellent at breaking down complex tasks for all different ages and fitness levels. Classes have a good size with enough time for individualized attention if you need it, and the classes are the best cardio you can get!

Our 10 year old daughter is a Krav Maga student at Roundhouse and absolutely loves it! She cant wait for classes, loves her instructor, and almost every night takes me through every warm-up, game, and skill she learned as we drive home. Were thrilled with our experience at Roundhouse. We found a family oriented school that engages her, builds her self-confidence, and teaches valuable real-life skills.

Great place to learn martial arts and self defense. Krav Maga is effective and efficient for adults and children. Anti-bullying kids program is top notch. Good workout.

Brian and the rest of the crew at roundhouse are amazing. Ive been to the other guys and they are not on the same level. If you want a true, traditional Krav Maga experience roundhouse is the place.

Iv jus finished taking the womens Krav Maga self defense course and it was the highlight of my year! Brian is a kind, hilarious, and really smart teacher. I walked into the first class knowing nothing of Krav Maga and Iv come out feeling strong, quick, and badass. He really knows his stuff and teaches it in an easy fun manner. I highly recommend it to anyone looking to hone their reflexes and inner strength. I love how much he cares about what hes teaching and is always available for questions and extra teachings.Iv also dropped into one of the Saturday morning boxing classes with Kwame, what an incredible work out. Ive been taking boxing classes at another studio near work but now plan on switching, hard work and so much fun!I cant say enough about this studio! I will absolutely be back for more Krav Maga and boxing classes.
