Had the opportunity to train here twice this past weekend while visiting the in-laws, and wanted to give this place a plug. After getting turned away by the Gracie Barra academy down the street these folks were more than happy to have me come in and train. There is some serious talent under this roof and I had the opportunity to have almost a private lesson with their black belt, Steve. Ive already filled a whole page in my notebook with the stuff we went over, hopefully I retain some of it. I will be back!

In the 4 years Ive been doing jiu jitsu I have been to facilities all over the country, including a couple here in St. Louis. Team Vaghi is the best. The technique of the white belts was really surprising. Theyre good! I was also surprised that in addition to Rodrigo (who is awesome) there were several other black belts walking around. You dont see that too often. I was greatful to have so much expertise to learn from. Being a girl, going to a new dojo is scary. All of the students are nice and respectful and make you feel like youre family. I appreciate you guys. Seriously the jiu jitsu gem of St. Louis!
