After a year of learning on an Ibanez Mikro bass, my daughter decided it was time for an upgrade and got her first Fender at Fazio’s. Denise was super helpful and welcomed her to try out a few before we settled on a Squier jazz bass. It’s an entry level guitar — but totally solid and sounds great. Denise was super patient with all of our newbie questions. We traded in the old bass and received a fair price for it. It was a super easy process, and my girl is excited to start playing on her first full-size bass!

I called Fazios on 9/13 to see about selling some used equipment in my inlaws home. I spoke to Denise who said shed like to work with me directly. I informed her at the time that I know almost nothing about musical instruments.I spent time taking pictures and then conversed with Denise for the next three days. She asked twice for a number. I wanted to sell these to a store vs individually due to my lack of knowledge. I give a number based on the few things I thought I found and she claims her husband passed on the deal.No counter. Then, when I express my disappointment with this whole experience, she relays that her husband is the manager and my result would have been the same had I come into the store. This totally disregards that I spent days working with her vs an hour, and given that I received an offer from a different retailer, I highly doubt that everything I had would have been passed on in store.This seems sketchy and under the table. I wonder if the owner knows thats how this manager is running the store.Edit- since I cant reply to the reply, Im curious how this is going to be looked into since I was not given any contact info nor have I given mine. I see that generally a manager responds to these reviews, now i wonder if its the same manager married to Denise. If so, I highly doubt this will be investigated at all.2nd Edit- to be clear, I am not angry none of my items are purchased. I am angry that I wasted 4 days of my time and I feel as though two scammers were trying to get me to name a low price so they could take advantage of my ignorance without guilt.

I needed a better acoustic guitar and and went to both Fazios and one of the box stores. The people at Fazios were super helpful and spent a lot of time with me. I am a beginner and needed someone to educate me. The really nice thing is that they make their guitars playable before putting them on the shelves. At the box store, I think they just take them out of the box and put them on the shelf which you then have to hope the manufacturer sets it up for playability. Try playing an F chord on an acoustic thats not set up very well. Not only are the people very helpful but they are priced competitively. In fact, they had more guitars in my price range than the box store.

With big box stores and online offerings all over the place, its nice to be able to take 5-10 minutes and physically go to a store. What Fazios lacks in quantity they make up for in quality. Ive not made any large purchases here, mainly just accessories, but I have had a bit of work done to a guitar and would certainly do it again if necessary.

Great store. Well curated selection, staff is knowledgeable, as well as personable and helpful. They’ve tracked down a number of things for me over the years. They seem to have really good relationships with the manufacturers too, because if they don’t have it, they’re better than the Internet at getting it, provided that “it” is an instrument or piece of musical gear. I was also told by an employee that he would die for me in a reverb.com review, which is a little weird, but also a valuable service.

3 of the workers are amazing. Some of them sometimes feel like they want me to leave. Quality of product can be very low quality. All guitar stores struggle with this though. Just make sure when you buy a guitar that everything looks and feels right. They have great customer service when it comes to fixing issues on their part. But a great guitar pedal selection!!

Im in my Junior year of highschool and go here all the time to play the guitars and fantasize about my future in music and to pick up all my smaller musical needs. I had shopped at fazios for a number of years to get miscellaneous items and parts. I recently decided it was time to purchase a new guitar and I always enjoyed my experience at Fazios. When I went in a shopped around Ian really took the time to get my info and lock in on what I was looking for. Something else that I love is that despite there being no LTD guitars in stock at the time I purchased, shortly after inquiring they had stocked 4 or 5 LTDs. These guys really do listen to the public that they service!

Fazios provides a personal experience for both customers and students. From calling their other store to find you an instrument you’ve requested to lessons, Fazios is a great place to shop and learn.

Overall great experience. They had a very good selection of acoustic guitars from the low end to the high end and options in the middle. Customer service was great and they even gave me a free soundhole humidifier for my guitar. I definitely recommend this store.

Fazio’s is by far my favorite music store anywhere in the St. Louis area. I’ve bought multiple high-end guitars from them and gotten work done on guitars I own, and they have done an excellent job of handling everything. If you’re a guitarist I would highly recommend checking out what Fazio’s has to offer, but any musician can benefit from a trip to Fazio’s.

Friendly knowledgeable and good inventory

Mostly focused on their selection of acoustic guitars, specializing in Taylors, I did notice that they a wide variety of other instruments. After beginning on a nice entry level acoustic guitar, I wanted to step up to a guitar that I would enjoy for years. I had a rough idea of what I wanted but wasnt spooled up on the Taylor brand. The staff was very helpful and let me check out their full line of guitars. I picked a Taylor 214ce because of the nice deeper tone and I liked the way it felt and looked. The Taylor line is a little pricey as it is American made and of good make. Long story short, the guitar I really wanted was the 314ce. Dan and his crew was very patient with my indecisions to the point of above and beyond. Bottom line, if youre buying the guitar to last your needs for a long time, ante up the money.

I bought a Telecaster Ultra from here on Reverb. I chose Fazios because they included a free setup with the guitar and I had a unique request, which Mike accommodated. He did an outstanding job setting up this guitar, and obviously gave it a lot of attention to detail. This Telecaster is the best guitar I have ever played. Mike has been great to deal with. The store is well kept, but it basically only carries fender electrics and taylor acoustics. Theres nothing available above low-intermediate level guitars for electric players who prefer humbuckers, and like two things that arent fenders for players who prefer single coils. Also their tube amp selection is the same story: the same fender clean amps you can find literally anywhere plus like one blackstar. Not a lot to see here if you play music that was written after 1974.

Long overdue review, but took my guitar here last year to get restrung. Seemed to be a slow night at the shop, but Mike was able to finish the job within an hour! Guitar is sounding great, and will definitely be back. Appreciate the great service
