Very friendly staff, very helpful and knowledgeable! I get my ukulele and guitar re-strung there, among other things, and I highly recommend it.

Great place to purchase or have your existing instrument worked onAND they do lessons too!

When you rent from Wert, theyll tell you about how your rental payments build up equity that you can use towards the purchase of any new instrument. Sounds pretty cool, right?Well, what they wont tell you is that (i) you can only use up to two years of equity towards a purchase (ii) heres the real kicker...the instrument you purchase must be at RETAIL price. Meaning, the $500 in equity can only be redeemed against the $3,000 list price of an instrument that Wert and everyone else is selling on sale for $1,500, rendering the equity a useless sales gimmick.The sale prices anywhere are better than anything you can buy at Wert with equity. I would look for a good used instrument on Craigslist or eBay for almost half the price of new. I would only recommend Wert if you need an instrument for a few months to try out and see if your child will stick to it.
