Clean campus. Friendly staff. I grew up at this school, and it was great.

The teachers and staff, especially the principal, are the best. They know each childs strengths and weaknesses and plan accordingly. The school has a wide diversity of children and the classes teach the basics as well as the fun stuff. The other children were warm and welcoming when my daughter began 6th grade. Imagine nice middle school girls. What a blessing this school is. I would not send my child anywhere else.

Some good things but too many bad. I had to pull my kids out. My son was abused by a faculty member. My daughter asked me if she could leave also. Found happiness at a charter school. SPU caters to the lowest common denominator. If your child needs any accommodations or is very bright, you will most likely be disappointed.

Was the best school I ever attended until 5th grade when they just started giv8ng is sheets of work and telling us to be quiet. Moved to high tech middle which is an amazing hands on school!

This school is okay, but not a place I would recommend .My child went to San Pasqual Union from Kindergarten-8th grade.The eliminatory school system was amazing, and so were teachers. They were very supportive. But, when middle school came around, I wasnt pleased. The teachers are repulsive. They were multiple teachers that were very disrespectful to my child and other children.One specific teacher (whomst I shall not name) deliberately picked on my daughter and publicly humiliated her in front of the entire class.Also, the education system wasnt the greatest. The teachers never really taught my child anything. (mostly referring to math class)They just handed out papers that taught them how to do the work. At one point my childs grades got so bad (because her teachers werent teaching her anything), I had to teach her myself. But thats not all..!On the tests, she would get marked off because she didnt do the problem the very specific way teachers taught her to do it. (Although the answer, and work was correct) In the questions there was no specific details regarding doing the work the way the teacher taught them to do it and when she addressed the issue, the teacher refuse to accept the fact that she made a mistake and made her feel like garbage.All in all, Im disappointed in the teachers, and the education system. I feel like they failed my child and made her academic career extremely difficult.

Little School in the Valley is a special place.
