Avoid this place!! I very politely asked for a female after a gentleman student came out to do my massage and was treated extremely rudely by a male manager who came out of his office to say go book a professional massage if you want someone specific. Wow...

The environment of the school was very peaceful. But almost too much. I feel cheated honestly. The price we pay does not equate to the quality of learning or the school itself. Its outdated, run down & a little too laid back. I dont feel that I learned everything I needed to pass the Mblex & get a good job right away or feel confident in that job. I dont feel that we learned enough from a western medical standpoint in the basic massage therapist curriculum. The tests in class were very basic & we were basically given the answers to. Im studying now for the mblex, & while I know the basics (enough to get me by), I feel behind. I feel like there is so much we didnt learn & Im worried I might not pass, which will keep me from getting licensed in other states. Obviously as therapists, we have to continue to learn for ourselves.... but I think this school could have done better. Im now in the process of taking extra courses on my own to try to catch up to the ever changing career field.

Healing Hands is more than just an incredible school, they are a transformational experience. The education I received was top notch. Their instructors are incredible, true masters of their art that are very personable and have a special ability to connect with and guide their students. Their office staff was very friendly and helpful. I went from being a financially unstable twenty year old searching for his purpose to a now successful Holistic Health Practitioner, owning my own business and walking a purpose filled path of making a difference in the lifes of others. I cant say enough amazing things about the experience of being a healing hands student. I am so grateful for the federal financial aid whos grants and loans enabled me to be a student (it even paid for my books and massage table!!). Most of all I am Grateful for the education, support, community and love I received from them.

I had a choice. Physical therapy or massage. I made the right decision. AND. Its cheaper than my co-pay for medical. Yeah! First and foremost. You are helping the students to get experience. Im the students do a wonderful job! I have arthritis big time and Im always over working myself this place has been my salvation. They opened sometime in the 80s. I met the owner Paula. There are 3 locations between San Diego and Orange County. State Certified Nationally Accredited. Call for an appointment they are quite flexible. Great students. I enjoy meeting each one and learning about massage too! 2 massages for $45. Be sure to leave a tip. As this is a training hour for them. They work hard.

This school is a rip-off. They will take you for every dime they can get. Make up charges and smile at you while they take your money. Also they charge to make up missed time. Anyway they can get your money they will. My daughter in law was charged 330$ to drop a class. Also the curriculum is not in any kind of order so you are expected to know things such as anatomy when you haven’t taken that class yet. Teachers are not qualified either. They teach about health and have no clue what they are talking about. Also if you take tui na be prepared to have the teachers religion shoved down your throat.

Healing Hands has amazing and lovely teachers who are passionate about transforming lives through body work. My training prepared me for helping clients heal and move forward from pain, and helped me see the body as a whole. After a year of training, I gained a whole new family.

Hubby stopped by to say hi. He had completed their massage program several years ago. Our daughter also went through the program.

Fantastic beautiful amazing school with amazing instructors and staff. I highly recommend it for anyone looking for a new career or just a new outlook in life.
