Instructors were great, Administration was the absolute worst. They dont care about the students, they just want their paycheck and show off the new welding/CnC machine shop to visitors.

This school is honestly the best college I have ever been to. The staff is so friendly and helpful. I couldnt ask for a better place to learn and grow!

Its one of the best colleges in Florida! The teachers and staff know you by name here and the curriculum is very well organized. Its a great school to attend if you have kids. Most classes have the same hours as Lake County Public Schools. They also offer evening classes such as Cosmo! Check it out! #LakeTech

From day one departments did not work together to complete enrollment and it took 6 months of diligently calling to start class. This should of been a sign of what was to come. The teacher should not be given that title as they are coordinators. You are given a book and left to study on your own all 8 hours of the day. When you dont understand something and ask for assistance from the teacher you are told to ask your group. The teacher sits in her office all day and does not teach. In the 4 months of attending the school there has only been one day of hands on training where other colleges do this every day. I have seen so many people come and go from my class either being kicked out for petty things or getting fed up with the lack of teaching or how they are treated. There is no professionalism from the teacher as she will talk about things that should be confidential per each student out to the whole class. I honestly feel they get your money and then come up with ways to not have you succeed. Their success rate is stated at 70% but I feel this is incorrect with the turnover rate of so many people coming and going. In my 4 months of attendance I have seen at least 10 people either being kicked out of my class or getting fed up and dropping out. I would suggest to really think and look at other opportunities before considering this school.

2 1/2 years ago I spent money and was accepted to the Emt class, spent money on all the testing, uniforms, ect. They called and said I could not because I have a felony! I have never been charged with a felony!! I have made several attempts to speak to Mrs. Lane and any office personal and request to see the background they pulled with the felony and no response! I have called and left messages and emailed!! So now Im wanting to do Lpn and still calling and emailing about background check and still no response!! I work in home health care and have to have a background check and guess what there is no felony!

Excellent Instructors and staff. They really care about their students success and go out of their way to make sure that each person is getting the skills they need in order to be successful in their chosen careers. The staff in Admissions, Financial Aid, and Business Office really work hard to make each person feel welcomed and important. Great place!

Some of the employees apart of administration have been rude every time I am in there but most of them are very nice. The Dean is incredible and super sweet. All good things about the instructors.

Got my GED here and it was a good experience and the instructors really cared about our success. I will be enrolling in a program. I was very happy with how much the staff cared about all of the students, knew everyone by name and encouraged us to do well.

Lake Technical College has the best Instructors!! They go above and beyond their way to help students succeed and achieve their goals!! Since August 2015 I have come a long way in achieving my goals!!

Hardest place to get in touch with of any institution Ive ever called. I get to the front desk, and then any department after, goes to answering machine.

This school is not a good school if you are a person of color the staff is very racist and rude they cater to the white students in the class and don’t teach fairly the teacher I had was rude and never helped assist with anything you don’t understand. I complained to the then department head about my treatment and the following Monday I was dropped from my program with no valid excuse I had just made it to my final semester with 2 months left the counselors had already congratulated me on. My success making it the the final semester and I had already taken the first exam for pn3 when they came and told me they had just realized I had a bad work habits grade (mind you work habits is at the sole discretion of the teacher it is a composite of attitude appearance attendance etc) academic wise I had only As so there was no legitimate reason to take me out of the program after I had already been passed to the final level and already had tested and passed that as well. When I went to file a complaint at the school they refused to give me a meeting with the board and acted like they had lost my last test so they couldn’t tell where I left off it was a complete run around and 4000$ down the drain I paid out of pocket and was due one recycle which I was not granted though they said everyone has one recycle to go back where they left off which for me would have been finishing the final 2 month I had left I was also snuffed out of this opportunity because they said they were changing their program and couldn’t guarantee that what I had learned already would be covered by the new program a bunch of bologna but they will pass people who have not passed their teas or tabe if they are a friend of the professor or someone at the college they play a lot of games with peoples money and education. I started to sue them for their misconduct and behavior and the more I think about it I still might what happened to me was a great injustice but they do it to a lot of people especially the black students so beware if you choose to attend

I had a great experience with their CNA program. The older lady in the clerk office, who totally isnt from the isle of lesbos, is totally a jerk.People are very nice, the instructors care.

Cannot say enough positive things about LTC. The teachers are great, the administration is supportive, and the training is top notch! Always a great experience at Lake Tech.

They have excellent instructors to help you all the way through your GED classes or if its a program would recommend as an alternative school

Good school, good teachers, students are weird but its amerika

I was approved for a $500 scholarship 7 days before class was to start i was so happy i actually did it i was finally gonna be able to go to college i just needed to come up with the rest of the money before class started ok i hope i can do that now the question is how much do i need to come up with? i looked online it said $977 plus taxes and fees... i called i just wanted to be on the safe side and double check the lady told me $475 plus books taxes and fees and youll need to get the uniform and shoes... ok my ID is an out of state ID will there be a different cost? she says yes... how much will all this cost including the out of state cost? let me transfer you to the financial aid department ok so i ask her and she says oh i have no idea really so how am i suppose to know how much i need to barrow from family im not rich i need the numbers so she gives me a number to call ok hopefully they can tell me i call it no answer so i leave a message few hours go by no call back so i call again no answer umm ok call again the next day still no answer so i email them all i got was a automated email saying someone will be in contact with me umm ok when... its now monday night class was gonna start tomorrow for me and i still havent gotten any contact from anyone... they really dropped the ball on this one i dont know if they just suck at communicating or they just dont care about the students either way i will never go here and highly recommend looking somewhere else i do not trust them

Definitely rude when I called about their cosmetology program.

Living next door to the school is terrible! When they leave for breaks and at 4pm Mon-Thur they rev their engines, blow their horns and burn off their tires. Its very loud and annoying!!!!!!!!!! Please control them!
