Wrote them on the 24th inquiring about preschool for my child. They sent 2 messages back stating theyll get back to me. It is now March 10th, 2021, 2:14pm and still have not heard from anyone. 3 stars for Poor communication on their behalf.

The best care we could have asked for for our girl. We are relocating and so sad to be leaving. We were greeted daily with warm welcomes and big smiles. I never worried once about if my girl was in good care or not. We will miss the sunshine house!

The staff here is so wonderful! My husband and I moved here in July with our 2 year old daughter and had never used public daycare before. After interviewing several locations we came to Sunshine House. It immediately felt comfortable and warm, everyone was so nice and above all the kids were very happy. They have been so supportive of us and our transition to life down here. They are patient and understanding, we couldnt have picked a better daycare.

My son is in Pre-K and we moved to the area mid school year. All I had were google reviews to go on. I was able to get him in at the Sunshine house due to another kid moving. I’m so grateful that they had a spot open! His teachers are absolutely amazing. The kid of teachers you remember for the rest of your life for being warm and caring. Everyone at the school is so wonderful. I would give it more than 5 stars if I could.

My son has been attending Sunshine House for a little under two years. He’s been in three of the rooms (infants, 1 year old room, and 2 year old room) during that time. In the (almost) two years he has been attending, my husband and I haven’t had a single complaint about the care he has received. The teachers there are INCREDIBLE. They truly care about the kids and dedicate so much energy and time to not only “babysitting,” but teaching them numbers, letters, colors, songs, reading to them, and teaching them to have great social skills, share, make friends, and clean up after themselves. Sometimes, he even comes home using phrases they’ve learned in Spanish or French! Now that we are in the potty training stage, they have even been helping with that. They have fun little parties and events for Valentine’s Day, Mother’s Day, Christmas, etc., and are always making all kinds of fun crafts and playing outside and talking about nature. And parents are always encouraged to stop by. In an area that has had a lot of daycare incidents recently, I cannot say enough how thankful I am to have found a daycare that treats my son (and all the other sweet babies) the way they deserve to be treated. In addition, my oldest son is 9 and I’ve had to send him there for his spring break and other holidays since my husband and I both work. The 3rd grade room is just as great! If we have more kids, we will definitely be sending them to Sunshine House (in Evans...I can’t speak for the other locations), and I would 10/10 recommend this facility. Thank you, Sunshine House!!

My boys love going to school everyday which is the most important feedback. This center is so family oriented and I love it too! All of the teachers know all of the kids, and love all of the kids. Safety... They make sure to contact the parent when they get bumps and bruises or not feeling well. Also, during the recent tornado warning, they followed their safety protocols in every room. Technology... they have an app that they update all throughout the day with meals/diapers/naps and pictures. They also received a grant this year to initiate the LENA program in the infant and toddler classes to promote early talk. Extras.... they assist GREATLY with potty training, its amazing! And, my one son receives services through BCW who are able to come to the Sunshine House and see them there. Im pretty sure I can keep going... but Ill stop here. Ms. Yvette and all the teachers are so wonderful and I couldnt recommend them more.

The staff and admin at Sunshine House are awesome. Walking through the school I cant believe how patient and friendly everyone is. They deal with a million different personalities in the children, an meet each challenge with grace. More than just a place to drop your child off. They actually care and educate. From guest speakers and presentations to fun learning exercises. Ive seen my boy grow. I cant wait for my daughter to go there aswell.Thank you to all at the Sunshine House.

Sunshine house is wonderful. Our son has Extreme life threatening food allergies, and I was seriously considering homeschooling because I just wasnt sure any school environment would be safe for him, but I gave it a shot. I am so glad I did! His teachers and staff made a plan that keeps him safe, but still makes sure he always feels included. Even without considering all they have done to keep our allergy kid safe, I would Still give 5 stars! Everyone is friendly, the facility is clean and so much fun for the kids. My son has progressed so much in this year, and is happy to go to school daily. Thank you everyone at Sunshine House!

Some might say it’s too soon to leave such a review but after searching multiple daycare facilities in the area, even attending one for about a month, I have to say Sunshine House on Belair is AMAZING!! My 5 month old is so loved by the teachers. I feel they genuinely care. It’s always clean, baby is always happy. Felt at home at our first initial walk through and it’s been 4 weeks. We are so happy to have found good care for our 5 month old!! Thank you Sunshine House

Being a first time parent I was so unsure and worried about my son going to daycare at 3 months, we looked at a few places in Evans. When we did our visit at Sunshine House I was comfortable with the environment and staff. We are pleased with everyone there. Being able to call, receive pictures, and texts message throughout the day helps me a lot. Our son loves coming here and has learned so much I love the activities they do with him. He has grown so much in his development and when we pick him up he is tired from a long day of learning.

My daughter has been attending Sunshine House since August 2019. They are exceptional! The staff is so caring and she is learning leaps and bounds. We are so happy to be at Sunshine House and are so excited to continue for another year.

My daughter has been in summer camp here and she has loved it. Her teachers are wonderful, will let her go again next summer.

All three of my children have attended preschool at this facility. I appreciate the friendly faces and staff who are always helpful.I have had prior experience with other daycares who don’t normally pick up the phone nor return phone calls. It’s something I never worry about here. Someone always answers the phone! Thank you again for being a loving place where my kiddos are introduced to school for the first time.

I just moved to the area and called this facility over the phone to obtain rates as I needed to secure care for my two daughters. I was told that I needed to come in to receive a packet. So I drove over to the facility. Upon parking at the front, I received a very important phone call that I had to take. After about a minute or so, I noticed a woman standing on the sidewalk. She then proceeded to watch me for the remainder of my phone call. Upon ending the call I walk up to the door and rang the bell for entrance. After being buzzed in. I asked about receiving the information that I needed. Throughout the entire encounter I was quickly given the impression that it was a problem to receive what I went there for almost as if she didnt want to give me what I asked for which was the rates. This was all while being watched by another lady at a desk in the office. At the end of it all, I was nastily nicely told that by the way you entered the parking lot through the exit . Really?? Thanks so much for your unwelcoming nasty nice encounter through the entire ordeal. I will be sure to not return to your facility. If this behavior is indicative of any other care facility nearby, especially due to your illustrious 4.8 rating online, then Im up the creek with finding childcare. Thanks for the experience, First impressions are definitely lasting impressions. By the way, your facility came highly recommended by a family member.

If I could give the Sunshine house a hundred stars, I would have no problem doing it. This place is amazing and I love the directors and every teacher there. Mrs. Yvette is the most professional and unbelievably amazing director! The place is very clean and they treat everyone like family. My daughters love it there and I wouldnt put them anywhere else.

My son has been going here since August when I had to move him from the daycare he was at because he was being treated unfairly and very poorly. This move was for the absolute best! Peyton LOVES his teachers and the director. Everyone is so kind and helpful and my son absolutely loves it. It has been the biggest relief moving him to the Sunshine house and I really wish I would of done it sooner. He has learned so much and they worked with him every single day. I totally give them credit for him potty training they worked with him from the minute he stepped in the door. I cant thank this daycare, the teachers, or the director enough for everything and for giving our sweet little family a peace of mind knowing he is in such good caring hands.

This place is clean, conveniently located, fun for kids and the staff really cares.Ive had to use them for a few short-term child care needs, and they have not only been super accommodating, but have treated my daughter who has some minor special needs with the exact considerations she requires. My kiddo loves going there and they have been a life saver. The director knew my name and my childs name as soon as we walked in after having been away for almost 9 months, which says a lot considering how many parents and children she sees.Five stars, highly recommended, and Ill continue to use them for the foreseeable future.

My children have been going this location for years now. The staff and facility are top notch. The staff has been excellent with patience and care for all children at the location.

Our kids have been part of the Sunshine house experience for over 6 years now. The center continues to surprise us with new programs and exciting curriculum to challenge our kids. Their summer program is also one of the best if not the best in the area. We have recommended handfuls of our friends to the Sunshine house. I never enter the building without being blessed by a pleasant smile and warm hello. We are fans of the Sunshine house for life.

This facility is well maintained and the staff is very friendly. I do wish the P-Kinder program was allowed to teach the children in preparation for Kindergarten but I was told that was more of the school laws fault than theirs. My daughter loves coming to school and the teachers are very caring. I definitely recommend this school.

I love my experience with this Sunshine House! My little boy used to dislike going to his previous daycare, but with here, he enjoys going! He really has began to open up more in his speech and often tells me about his day. He loves the teachers and the new friends he has made. The staff are welcoming, pay attention to detail, and caring. I enjoy reading the little reports of my childs day upon picking him up in the afternoons. The meals are great and offer a well balanced diet for my son. Lastly, I like how secure the facility is upon arrival and departure. The online sign-in portal documents everything which is awesome! I often drop off and pick up my niece from Pre-K. Her teachers, Miss Heather and Miss Angela, are very friendly and communicate daily about the days activities. They provide a worksheet with activities that we can do at home. The classroom is clean and very organized. As well as the rest of the center. The atmosphere is very kid friendly. Upon entering the building you are greeted by any staff present. Miss Yvette and Miss Tiffany work very hard to ensure that everyone that enters the building is treated with courtesy and are available to answer any questions you may have. I would highly recommend the Sunshine House to anyone looking for reliable childcare.

I have a two-year-old child at this facility and I am very happy with the programming and care he receives. The teachers are kind, credentialed and dedicated and the administration is available, approachable and helpful. I have been pleased with the combination of child care and education for our son and the customer service and helpfulness of the staff.

I have two children that attend the Sunshine House in Evans, Ga. One that has been attending here since he was 2 and now is 5 in the Pre K program. Another that is 2 and has been attending since he was 10 weeks old. This daycare has greatly met our expectations. They go above and beyond to teach the children and to keep them entertained. My children always come home with new knowledge. I just look at them and think where did you learn that. My children and I love the teachers, the Assistant Director, and the Director. Kudos Sunshine House Evans!!

Our family loves Sunshine House. With two children having attended for two years, we have gotten to know the teachers from five of the classrooms. There has not be a teacher we didnt love. They are all very friendly to both the parents and the children, and full of information about your childs day. They seem genuinely happy to be caring for the children in their care. The activities the kids do also seem fun and engaging. The centers director and assistant director are wonderful and very easy to talk to regarding questions and concerns. We would (and do) highly recommend Sunshine House to others in search of a good daycare/PreK program.

After trying a few other daycares, we found that Sunshine House was the best overall. The teachers and administration, especially Ms. Yvette, are all on board with ensuring care, safety, instruction, and education of the children. They’re communicative with us and even if they make a mistake somehow, they find a solution quickly and do not hesitate to help. The pricing is also fairly average to all the others in the area. After two years now there, my daughter is learning, happy, and has made great progress there. The teachers show they love her and enjoy having her there. I highly recommend.

I cannot say enough good things about the Sunshine House and their staff! The teachers genuinely care about the children and its evident every day. they have structured lesson plans which is very important - especially for my four year old. My youngest has been there since she was six weeks old. The center is always clean and organized. The staff is so sweet and keeps you up to date on your childs progress. Both my girls are excited to go to school every day and that is such a good feeling! I 100% recommend this center!

My son has attended 3k and 4K here. We love Yvette, Dayanna, Heather, and Dezirae. They are all professional, creative, patient, and they take great care of the kids. My son has made some great memories here, as well as friends.

This daycare facility has been wonderful for my kids. The teachers are attentive and take good care of my preschooler and the director and assistant director care so much about each family. Its another extension of our home and my kids enjoy their time there all the time.

Everyone at this center is amazing and you can tell that they really LOVE what they do. Yvette and Tiffany (the director and assistant director) go above and beyond to help not just the children but also the parents, whether its help with processing a payment or a hug on a bad day! They are invaluable not only to the Sunshine House, but also to the children they take care of as their own. Ms. Heather was my sons teacher and she is a GEM! She teaches the children with a passion and also instills in them values that I teach in my own home. Even after moving away, I still get messages from them with pictures of the class pets to show my child, or just to ask how we are doing! I would highly recommend this center to anyone looking for childcare...you will not be disappointed!!

Where should I begin! We are so absolutely pleased with our daycare choice! Sunshine House and their employees are absolutely amazing! they go above any beyond to make sure you know that your dropping your child off with someone that truly cares.Everyday at drop off I am greeted by happy teachers who are excited to see Jace, and not just the teachers in his direct room... with the setup they have it feels like all of the teachers know all of the kids.Throughout the day I am notified through their phone app so I know whats going on. they even send pictures and videos through the app which makes my day every time!At pickup, after I am sure a long day for his teachers they still have big smiles on their face and tell me all about jaces day including little funny things he did or what they learned.I had many suggestion of other competitors but after my walk through with Yvette and meeting the infant teachers ( Where Jace would be starting) in my gut I felt this was the right choice and now after 5 months I can tell you that I made the right choice.Thank you Sunshine House!!!!

We absolutely LOVE the Sunshine house of Evans. When I was looking at daycares to take my daughter, the Sunshine house was the only one that made me feel a sense of peace. The director and assistant director were both very nice and welcoming when I came for a tour. They didn’t act annoyed with my million and one questions I had because they too are moms and understood that leaving your child in the hands of others is scary and stressful at first. The staff are very prompt about calling about any occurrences or emergencies. My daughters toddler class is very hands on and I love seeing pictures and art work posted on the walls. It’s a sad but good feeling when you pick up your daughter at the end of the day and she doesn’t want to go home because you know she loves her classroom. I would recommend the Sunshine House of Evans to anyone!

Our family loves the Sunshine House! Our toddler comes home each day with a summary of her day and looks forward to seeing her teachers in the morning. We also have a child in the Pre-K classroom. She has learned so much this year and is really excited to begin kindergarten in the fall. We are so grateful to the staff for making our transition from out of state so smooth. I visited many daycares to find one that suited what I was looking for. Sunshine House has exceeded my expectations. The staff is very friendly and very helpful. Im a first time mom so as you can imagine I was extremely nervous dropping my baby off for the first time. Each and every time I have dropped her off she has smiled at the staff members, which warms my heart and lets me know that they are taking excellent care of her. The staff makes sure to know your name as well as the childs name. If you have any questions they are quick to answer. They not only watch your child throughout the day but engage them in learning activities. I cannot say enough amazing things about this place.

My son has been attending this school for 5 years and i am sad to say that next year he will have to go to a big public school. The current director, Ms. Yvette, has been a wonderful influence and friend to my son and I since day one.

The staff is friendly and helpful. We have always had a good experience at this daycare. I like the fact that they have daily rates available so you can use them as needed.

Can’t say enough great things! The staff and the director are friendly and professional. We pass by staff in the hall and they all speak to my child by name which makes me feel like they care to know the kids. Everyday the teachers tell me specific things he has done that day which is very comforting to hear that they are attentive and engaged with the kids. They’ve always been kind to our family and never seemed frustrated even when my child has had difficult days. I just love how caring and insightful the entire staff that I’ve interacted with has been . If I had to complain about one thing, it would be that the parking lot gets a little cramped, especially in the afternoons but that is definitely something I can look over for piece of mind!

Choosing the best childcare for your child is one of the most important decisions you will ever have to make as a parent. In August of 2015 my husbands job relocated us to Augusta, GA. I was terrified about having to find childcare because my daughter had only been kept by her grandmother since she was born. I rode around all day making visits to different daycares with no luck. I sat in my car crying because everywhere I went seemed horrible and I wasnt about to leave my baby at any of these places while I worked. The Sunshine House was my last stop. I walked in and was immediately greeted by some very nice ladies. I explained my situation to the Director at the time and she said she wasnt sure if she had any spots left for my daughters age group. She checked and said she had one spot left she was holding but the family she was holding it for had not committed and she would give it to me if I would enroll today. She gave me a tour and our first stop was the class that my daughter would be in. We were greeted by the teacher, Yvette Dennis. My first thought of Yvette was this woman is so happy and bubbly! How can she be so happy dealing with all of these children? My heart instantly felt at ease and I could tell my daughter liked her and the classroom. I told the Director this is it! This is where I want my daughter to go! The rest is history! I can say that two and a half years later I do not regret my decision. The Sunshine House has an amazing staff and they hire the best ladies to work with your children. I am so thankful for each and every one of the ladies who has worked with my daughter and got her to where she is today. She loves them just as much as they love her. I truly believe God puts you where you need to be and He knew this is where we needed to be. Thank you ladies for all of your hard work and love for these kids. Keep up the great work!!

The worst ever Pre-K program. If youre looking for free daycare for your 4 year old than youve come to the right spot. But if youre actually sending your child to be prepared for kindergarten then the sunshine house is not the one to do it. My daughter attended for a few months and eventually was told not to come back due to lack of paperwork which we were waiting for her doctors appointment 2 weeks away. Then she went back and was told they unenrolled her and there were no spots available but on their sign out front stated they had 2 pre-k spots available. We were really hanging on to finish out her ballet they weve invested money into for her recital in May and they refuse to work with us to let her finish off 4 more (30 minute) ballet practices. Other day cares around town have been more than helpful. The sunshine house isnt so Sunny.
