Pedro was very helpful when taking me on my second chance of getting my license. He was calm, friendly, & does a good job of explaining what’s to be expected. I took the 6 hour adult driving course and then the 1-hour prep and road test. I had a lot of questions before the 1-hour class and road test and NOVA answered them all and made sure that I wasnt at the DMV longer than I needed to be. I felt prepared for the Elston test and even though I had 4 separate teachers for my 4 different classes, each of them were able to teach me in a way I got. And they were patient and definitely aided in my passing the DMV exam. The 1-hour prep beforehand was also super helpful and necessary and it all allows you to get used to the car youre driving and know the route. Definitely recommend NOVA for anyone, but especially adults who havent gotten proper instruction or license yet.

My experience here at Nova has been great! They really stick to their word when starting off the student(s) and leading them to become better drivers. Nova driving was very helpful in giving me the tools and knowledge necessary to navigate the streets of Chicago. Specifically, Jessica R. was phenomenal when it came to fine tuning my skills and helping me to progress very quickly. Her instructions clearly outlined what I needed to improve upon, while her encouragement made me feel accomplished and more confident behind the wheel.

Instructor was patient and had good tips for me. I felt relaxed behind the wheel with him, relaxed but alert so that was great! I got better through out the class.

I am very much happy to finally commit learning how to drive after waiting for many years. My first lesson with Alexandria I was so nervous, she was quick to correct my mistakes in a nice way and reminded me the street symbols I need to keep in mind all the time. She was very attentive. But my second instructor David Bonilla actually get into more detailed explanations and showed the control system of the car and how to actually get more comfortable in the car which actually helped me having zero knowledge about driving. He was very thorough and calm and I didn’t feel under pressure and I was able to drive the streets which I thought I could not do. He is very knowledgeable and an amazing instructor! That’s why I have requested that David will be my instructor again for my next lessons. Overall, it was a such a great experience!

David was really helpful and he has complete idea of what the instructor would ask us to do on road test. I was late to the one hour session but then David helped me in the training session. The road test included the same instructions which David taught me before hand.

David Bonilla was AWESOME!he walked through every single step from start to finish, the route, the little things to watch out for, feedback , and with true honesty whether we would pass or notAnd Everytime we practiced, he went through and focused on a small portion that we could work on together and make sure I succeeded. For me , it was just making sure I always used my turn signal and stopped at the carparks stop sign.While I drove in HK before and had my license, it was great to have this refresher & walk through. Passed with flying colors thanks to him! Especially because my test person was known to be really challenging

Teacher: Jessica RFelt like the balance between structure and free form was good. Some of the other teachers gave too much from the book or too little but she gave the correct amount of both. Brought energy to the class that was definitely needed given the dry content that is a drivers ed book from the 1600s. Overall, was engaged in her classes far more than I thought I was going to be.

Instructor is well informed and very friendly. The tone in their voice when instructing is calming and helps build confidence. They are also skilled and know when to step in when the student is having trouble managing the vehicle.

I am 22 years old and have never driven before. I was getting scared and anxious every time I thought about driving, so I decided to enroll on Novas driving lessons. Super worth it! My instructor is David Bonilla and he has been great! He helped me with my anxiety and fear and now I enjoy driving! I have been to two different driving schools before but both were not professional enough for me. One of these could not communicate with English and the other was not Educative. NOVA DRIVING SCHOOL will take you from the basis functional car parts to why they are needed etc. They also have good instructors like Nelson David and Maliano.

I had an excellent experience, both with the school and my instructor David Bonilla. Everything was easy to set up online after calling them (including the one time I had to reschedule), and David was absolutely excellent - punctual (I went for home pickup, which worked out week for me), great guidance throughout the process and friendly. He went above and beyond when I accidentally dropped my phone in the car, and brought it back. I honestly could not have asked for a better instructor or experience. They also made the whole experience at the DMV very straightforward as they also provide the car for testing. I would HIGHLY recommend David and the school.

Unclear communication on what the packages offer (I paid for 10 hours behind the wheel instruction + driving test because thats what I was sold and was later told after several callbacks that its only 8 hours behind the wheel + 2 hours of driving test), long wait times (multiple days) to get callbacks from the scheduling office and you can get unlucky with an impatient instructor who cant effectively answer your questions without being visibly frustrated with you and can make driving on the road for the first time pretty stressful. Do not recommend.
