I really like the way the staff helped me through a very difficult time managing three small children by myself during Covid. They were very patient with the adjustment the children needed to begin to be comfortable with their new environment and have fun and grow.

The Evanston Kindercare Family are literal MIRACLE WORKERS. My husband and I welcomed a baby girl in July 2020 and she began her full time daycare in the Infant Room at 3-months old. To say my husband and I were nervous wrecks....would be an understatement.The very first day all our worries were put to rest. The Infant Room teachers are so on top of making sure you are updated throughout the day that it almost feels like you are with your little one. The videos they provide of different learning activities are the ABSOLUTE BEST. Thank you SO MUCH to Ms. Turkia, Ms. Jada, Ms. Danajh and Ms. Kailyn!Additionally, Ms. Tosin and Ms. Michelle are the warmest, kindest, and most welcoming leaders we could have asked for. Hearing their voices when we call to organize pick-up of our daughter is always a highlight of our day :-)We could not praise the Evanston Kindcare Infant Room team and Leadership anymore. They have gone high and above any previous expectation.

Weve sent our 2 year son here for a year and a half and he enjoys going and we enjoy sending him there. His speech and learning skills have definitely developed since going. The heads of the Kindercare are very proactive in both communication and taking an interest the health of my son. Me and my wife work long days and so we also enjoy getting the reports and videos of our son that are shared through their app. All in all I would recommend this daycare to anyone living in Evanston and nearby.

We sent our 3 yr old daughter to KinderCare for summer preschool and we had a great experience. It is a loving environment where my daughter was excited to go to camp everyday to see her friends and teacher. We highly recommend KinderCare!

Our daughter has been at KinderCare Evanston for over a year now, starting in the Infant Room and moving to Toddlers. We have had none of the problems described in the reviews below. In addition, if leadership is an issue, there is a new Center Director, in place for the past several months. Our daughter has loved her time at KC in Evanston. She loves her teachers and she loves her friends.

This center now has a wonderful director and I can attest to her work.Ask for Tessa.She is wonderful and therefore I can assure the center experience has increased.Mom of Z & M

I would never recommend KinderCare evanston to anyone. First I brought my warm loving child into that school. I get a monster in return literally my child didnt listen he was always fighting being stubborn. And my child is never like that he is the nicest most respectful toddler you could get. I was getting calls every day to come get my child. If i am paying a daycare I expect the school to be able to handle all behaviors. But they could not so i pulled him out. They over charge for lord knows what. To over charge someone and you cant do what im paying you for was ridiculous. So glad he is not there anymore i put him in a different school and now he is back to his normal well behaved self!

In the beginning I loved this school. I did a lot of research and decided to make the commute from the Edgewater neighborhood in Chicago to Kindercare in Evanston. I read the materials and understood that this was a learning center. This was the most important thing to me since I am a lifelong student and education is paramount. I am also a single mother so I have very little free time.Two years ago when my son started it was great. The center director wasnt too good but the staff was awesome and within a few months my 2 year old son was potty trained. I was ecstatic. I also saw a huge improvement in his language skills.Fast forward to the present, I honestly was very tired of the commute. I take public transit and ride my bike. Between taking my son to school, going to school, and tutoring at a school, I spent 6+ hours traveling each day. It became too much and I decided to find a closer school. I found Little Kiddies on Devon, within walking distance of home, and inquired. There was such a vast difference in their program that I moved my son right away. Within one week I learned that my son was very far behind the other children in his age-group. My son was very upset because he was used to playing all day, and at this new school the children have to practice writing and the alphabet. I was shocked. I spent all the time and more money sending my son to a learning center and he hadnt learned anything. If I thought I could win and I had the money I thought about taking Kindercare to court.The bottom line is this, from infant to 2 years Kindercare was great if you want to spend the money. Honestly the staff is wonderful. However, this is not a learning center. After two years if you are a parent who cares about your child learning basic skills like reading and writing take your child somewhere else.

Kinda care is not the place you want to send your child. their facility is not clean. the kids are always sick from ring worms to pink eye. even the teachers had ring worm and pink eye. kinda care needs a new director to fix its hygiene
