Ive had 2 children graduate from The Academy academically and socially prepared for the next step in their lives. Mrs. Reyes keeps the needs of the students first and foremost in her goals as she leads her staff towards delivering the highest quality instruction that considers educating the whole child. The teachers go above and beyond as they adapt the delivery of instruction to match the individual child in order to get each child to learn, question, and apply school content.The community of families at The Academy goes beyond mere faces in the parking lot during pick-up and drop-off. The parents genuinely welcome and support all those who happen to find their way onto the grounds of the school. The saying It takes a village to raise a child is evident in every facet of this small but mighty learning and thriving community.

Wonderful place for children to learn and grow! This establishment has NOT forgotten how to cultivate traditions, family values, kindness, and respect. I’m thankful my children are attending.

I have two children at The Academy at St. Joan of Arc, and our family could not be happier. The Academy does a great job of meeting the needs of our children both academically and with enrichment activities. The kids enjoy participating in the science fair, Spanish, cooking classes, music, and school basketball team. Weve also found the community to be very welcoming and invested in moving the independent Catholic school forward. Our kids are in their fourth year at the school, and we feel very fortunate to have found it.

Excellent education in a small classroom environment. Incredible staff that nurtures individual learning styles and promotes the wellness of students. I could not be more pleased with the community and the advancements being put in place at this independent catholic school.

We have two sons (6th and 7th grade) at The Academy at St. Joan of Arc and love it. It is wonderful, vibrant school that offers students both a strong academic program and a solid sense of faith, values and love for community service. The middle school program is fantastic with experienced, passionate educators who challenge our students to think in new and creative ways. We love knowing our boys will leave The Academy as confident, compassionate individuals who are well prepared for high school and beyond.

We love St. Joan of Arc School. For younger kids, the play-based preschool is a perfect transition from home to school and the Kindergarten curriculum taught my kids to read and the basics of math so quickly. The school offers so many special extras too like service learning projects, science fair, battle of the books, music, Spanish, and fun traditions like a Thanksgiving gravy bowl basketball game where we happily welcome many of our alumni home for a fun visit. The small class sizes allow for differentiated learning and a personalized touch. It is a great school in a great community!

I am a mother of 5 children who have attended and are currently attending St. Joan of Arc School. My eldest is a sophomore at Loyola Academy where he is thriving. He was prepared very well academically, spiritually and emotionally for his high school experience. Our 8th grader will be heading off to Loyola after a wonderful experience at SJA. Our three other children grades, 6th, 2nd and Kindergarten are being educated in a warm environment with the most wonderful teachers. The intimate class size and amazing community make this school one of a kind!
