Being a new customer I just had them do some basic work as a test. However, per their usual routine they spotted more areas on my 11 year old Mercury that should get attention either now or at least bring to my attention for future service. While cost always plays a factor, the quality of customer service he provided was amazing!! He was clear on the scope of work needed (and not needed). The main reason I tried Golf Crawford is because they are Repair/Pal certified. I was delighted that they lived up to Repair/Pals expectations.Chris took care of the problems with my car as well as being extremely careful to follow Covid19 suggestions. In fact my face mask broke and Chris brought out a stack of face masks for me to take the top one which he had never touched. Had my car fixed in April. The shield in the front drivers side wheel well had come loose and was making a lot of noise. Was afraid I’d have to replace it, but they were able to reattach it for a very reasonable price. One month later it’s just fine. Everyone there is very nice, and it was reassuring, during a pandemic, that they were all wearing masks and using hand sanitizer. Chris even took my credit card wrapped in paper towel, and handed it back that way. Will definitely be back next time something needs fixing.

My senior citizen mother went in for a simple battery replacement and was told she needed diagnostic tests and other tests done. The old battery was 5 years old. They should have just replaced the battery and if there were other problems then you know it’s not the battery and run diagnostics! Bottom line at pep boys this would have been the cost of the battery and pep boys installs most batteries for free. My elderly mother paid 340 dollars for something that should have cost 150! Be very wary of this service shop!! Go to pep boys or firestone first!!!

Before I found Golf Crawford (at least 15 years ago) I spent a lot of time trying to find a mechanic that I felt I could trust to do a good job and be honest about what was needed. I found all that and more at Golf Crawford. They know their business and do it in a professional manner. The service from a customer satisfaction standpoint is outstanding as well.They are not happy until the customer is happy. Andy and the whole crew are dedicated to making sure that any job is done well. They use quality parts which is one reason that they are not the cheapest shop on the block. But I have found that their pricing is fair, the work is done well on the first try and, perhaps more importantly, they will tell me when something doesnt need to be done. Called to make an appointment before stopping in and spoke with Chris who was super helpful and informative. He said that he would look into ordering the part needed for my car repair and he called me back quickly to let me know when it will arrive so I could bring my car in. Chris is great! We had brakes installed on my wifes Audi Q5 they did a great job and gave me a great price. We had an issue and he took care of it immediately without a question asked! Then a few months later my mother that lives across the street from the shop got stuck in her driveway during a winter storm. We called over for his help and he went pulled her out and cleaned her driveway! Hes a great guy and even better business man and would highly recommend his shop!

I had a great experience with this auto shop. I own a 2002 Volvo S40, and it was giving me this weird issue of not turning on. I already had a good battery and a new starter. This was a re-occuring problem that kept popping up ever since I started using the car a year before. Other mechanics seemed to misdiagnose and fix other problems, but never this one. Every time I called, Chris was very responsive. They found the problem right away, and were willing to watch the car for one extra day to make sure it was fixed.As a female young adult, I really appreciate that they were straight-forward with me about everything they discovered about the car. Chris answered all of the questions I had, and even made things simple and clear for someone like me who knows very little about cars. I HIGHLY recommend the service here.

Ive been doing business with Andy and the crew at Golf Crawford for many years. Ive had everything from small maintenance things to several engine replacements done. The work is top quality, no easy to find these days. The advice is even better saving money over many projects. Andy went to bat for me with Chrysler when they tried to stick me with a sunken valve seat in a brand new engine... he negotiated another new engine. Dont hesitate to use them, youll be glad you did.

Took my car in for some brake and suspension work. Chris the owner explained everything that needed to be done with great detail and was patient with all my questions. He gave me a very fair quote. I dropped my vehicle off that day and everything was done next morning by 10am. The plates letters and numbers are starting to become unreadable. This good tip revealed that I needed an emission test and new liciense plate sticker by May 31st. Very expensive, this place charge for diagnosis even they perform the total job. They use after market parts and the price they charge more than even genuine parts. I will not recommend this shop to any one unless you got hell of money and dont care to pay them.
